Finding and linking to media used in project

I appreciate Keynote very much. I'm wanting to be able to click on media elements within the "slides" and find their source location on my drive. I can do this in Final Cut Pro with a File menu item called "Reconnect Media". I can find no such method of associating my media with its origin in Keynote. Does Keynote provide for this? If so, how? If not, why not?

from the desktop, select file, Right Click (or Control-Click), Show Package Contents, and everything contained in file is displayed.

As ExportPDF is web-based, you simply utilize the tool through your web browser. After you're logged in, you should see the ExportPDF interface, with a button saying 'Select PDF file..' to get the process started.
You may also access ExportPDF via Adobe Reader by choosing File > Save as Word or Excel Online.

You have most of the info already here. Just use Query Builder to pull back the rest of the object info and you'll have what you need. I'm not sure which report you want, but either can be achieved in much of the same way. You'll need to know the parent-child heirarchy for the folder structure to determine where this report sits. once you have this info, open the CR designer and open the report from the repository navigating the folder heirarchy you found.
1. Open "Query Builder" from the start | programs menu on the server. Depending on the version of XI you are using, the url will differ.
2. Execute a query similar to what you posted to bring back the info for the report object (not instances) with the name 'scorecard'. If multiple reports exist in different folders with the same name, they will all be returned.
SELECT * FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_NAME = 'scorecard' AND SI_PROGID = 'CrystalEnterprise.Report' and SI_INSTANCE = 0
3. Look for SI_PARENT_FOLDER attribute and query on this ID next. That should give you the name of the parent folder the report sits within.

4. You will need to keep querying for the parent in order to work your way up the folder tree.

Utilizing Multimedia Links - Links to Media Using Adobe Acrobat 9

Embedding multimedia such as videos makes PDFs too large to e-mail and large to store, and each distributed PDF has to contain the video instead of the video residing in just a single location. I wanted to know whether one can embed links in the PDF to a free website such as the Acrobat.com website to store the actual video file on this site and have PDFs access the video(s)? I was thinking that since Acrobat.com allows a certain limit of storage, this seemed like a slick way to include video without dealing with large PDF sizes. I saw this done in several of the example PDFs on Adobe's website; but all the linked sites were other than Acrobat.com.
I checked the Acrobat.com forum and it appears that my request is not possible because video files are restricted and can not be uploaded and shared on the Acrobat website. Their list of restricted video formats include MOV, WMV, FLV, XVID, DIVX, and RETG. Apparently Acrobat.com once allowed SWF format; but it was blocked because of security concerns.
Is there a location for a non-professional to safely store multimedia files such as videos where the website and be linked to a PDF and the PDF execute the multivideo link, like in the examples shown for Abobe Acrobat 9?
Aside from a place to store files and link to them, what video formats work best? I have a SONY video camcorder (MPG format) and want to just put several files on a website and then produce PDFs with the links to access these files to play within the PDFs. Are there some tips located somewhere on how best to link videos to a website that hosts the videos?

After trying out various options suggested in this forum, I have found another solution for Word TOC links in PDF.
My environment is as follows:
Windows Vista
Acrobat 9.0
Word 2007
Solution:
Open the Word document.
Place the mouse cursor at the beginning of the TOC field.
Right-click and choose Edit Field from the shortcut menu.
Click Table of Contents to open the Table of Contents dialog.
Select the Show page numbers checkbox.
Select the Use hyperlinks instead of page numbers checkbox.
Note: While the preview on the dialog removes the page numbers, they are not removed from your TOC page.
Click OK.
In the Word document, hover your mouse over a TOC entry. You will notice that the entire string (and not just the page number) is now hyperlinked.
Generate the PDF and verify if the TOC links work.

Excel & Powershell: Bulk Find and replace URL's used in forumlas

Hi, I'm working on creating a script that I will provide a list of SharePoint 2007 document libraries to which will do the following:
In Excel, find formulas within cells that link to other workbooks + sheets (XLS/XLSX)
If found, replace the formula link http://serverold/site/doclib/ with
http://servernew/sites/sitecollection/doclib and save
Else, close the workbook and move onto the next
Log full URL and filename of any changes
Using the code on this
link as my starting point I cannot get the following working:
1. The regex expression to make the script detect the URL in the formulas
2. modify the script to replace the old path with the new path in the formula within cells.
3. a for each branch to deal with when the match is found (save and close) and when it's not found (just close)
I'm not going into detail on all the research I've done (info is very light on the ground), just that it is mentioned on another thread that you can enumerate these
links centrally in Excel but no example or links were given and when I've tried to enumerate the links collection in PowerShell (with Excel 2010 installed) it is empty with the example workbook I'm using which I know as "links" in that sense.
Example to enumerate link collections:

Is there any way to ove only the media files used in a project to a seperate hard drive and then work from that drive without all the other files?

Yes. Go to File->Move Project and then in the dialog that you can you can choose to move along only the clips that are being used by the project, or the entire events containing those clips

I'm facing a problem for my customer.
I need to send a mail with the PO forms and all link document of each item .
This mail have to be send to several user maintain with transaction MN05 and user want to change the recipient of the mail in MESSAGE Screen of PO so we try to use output type 7 which allow this modification .
Unfortunatly, with this output type i can't add by abap code document in the mail .
Does somebody face the same problem or add a solution to retrieve all recipient define by the user ?

Where can I find a macro I can use in Project Properties to generate PDB files of different filenames each build?

Found a better solution. The answer is given at the very bottom of this post.
I'm looking for $(Random), %(Date), %(Time), or some %(Value) that I can put in the "Generate Program Database File" entry.
Like "$(TargetDir)_%(CreateTime).pdb".
But the problem is, %(CreateTime), %(ModifiedTime), and %(AccessTime) has colons in them, making them useless when putting them into the filenames.
What other ways can I generate PDB files of different file names? Or, how do you modify %(CreateTime) so that I can remove the colons and just obtain the numeric values?

I agree with Viorel. The possible way to rename the PDB files is that you write your own script to rename the PDB file after building the project and put the script to Post-Build event in Build Event. As for whether this way can accomplish it, you can try

How do i find and see all media files from email in one place?

I'm trying to find all the pictures and movies people have sent me over the years in emails and then extract them to put them into Aperture. Is there a way of doing this simply? ideally not manually where i have to open each email and save attachment but can see the attachments in one place and decide which ones to grab.

You can select any number of keyframes in a timeline and drag those keyframes forward or back in the timeline without altering any other layers. You can also select a range of frames by selecting one keyframe and then shift clicking on a second keyframe in the same layer. With these frames selected you then drag this selection left or right in that layer to move it forward or back in time. You can have more than one selection moving in more than one layer.
Alternately, you can add or delete frames from any layer. You can select more than one frame in a layer and then delete those selected frames. All of these methods are "undo-able", but you still may want to make a copy of your file before you begin a massive edit. Save after every edit of the timeline so that you don't overtax your memory.

Sales order for service should create project and link equipments.

I'm trying to create a sales order for a service material through VA01. The problem is that this sales order should create a proyect, but at the same time i should be able to associate several equipments to the item position.
The problem is that if I want to create a project, option " Sched.Line Allowed" should be marked for the item category, But if do it, when i create a sales order, if i want to associate 1 o more equipments to my item position, (Extras-->Technical Objects), i get this message "Serial number profile is missing for material..." instead of the table where i would introduce my equipments.
Is there any solution to this problem or should i proceed in a different way?

We both are working on the same vertical, I am also working now in elevators and escalators.
We have enabled similar (not same) scenario like this.
When order is created (sales order) using serial number profile, serial no and equipment number are generated. I think even during service order, this can be enabled. The only thing you have to do is to create a profile and link that to material master. Please explore in SD and MM. This is easy to do. This will create equpment no for every item in the service order.
We have also enabled the creation of whole project for the order and one WBS element and network for each of the line items adn this happens automatically. This is done as explained earlier. Creation of standard project, std WBS, std network adn then linking the material codes to these objects in CN08. To my knowledge, this is the only way. If there is one standard project, which is linked to all related standard WBS, then during order creation, a WBS element is created after the creation of a standard project. When project is created, service order is linked to the project. So for other items, this project is taken and the WBS and network are created using this project.
Now your assembly processing, production order, Purchase requisition are taken care of by the usage of components overview for activities in the network and object dependencies. For Production orders, you also have standard BOM, which can be linked to activities in the NW. You can control the materials of the standard BOM using selection condition dependencies. You can also initiate variant configuration in service order to maintain the nature of service and then use dependencies to trigger respective assembling, PR etc.
If you want to do this for multiple eqpmts, you can also use functional location, which links multiple equipments to one place.
The only thing you have to do is to configure this and see. Only then you will get ideas.

Drive 2.1 can not connect to our cs3 versioncue server what do I need to use our projects in CS5?

Mac XServe is our CS3 server. Trying to upgrade to CS5 and found out Version Cue is no longer. Read and found the Drive 2.0. It can't seem to connect to my current server. We still have access with one of our CS3 machines. Is there a program I need to get to continue on with our versioning and the ability to use our projects we have? Or do I need to go into every project and export or something to be able to start using CS5? Thank you in advance for any help!!!

Hitting the Log Out button in the MobileMe panel worked. I can now connect to both the SnowLeopard and Lion servers just like I used to.
My condition appears to have been slightly different from yours, gmia - the MobileMe on my MBP had the correct info, but hose are not the credentials i use to remote to the two servers. I'm guessing that for some reason ScreenSharing began using my MobileMe credentials instead of what I had saved in the keychains.
Wonder if it had anything to do with the shutdown of the MM servers. That would be odd as using ones apple ID to log into a Mac remotely was new with Lion, and I had the same problem with our SnowLeopard server - which I remote into much more frequently.
Probably didn't hurt though to reboot the entire network...

After installing 10.5.6, finder and quicklook server hog cpu for 10 minutes

I installed 10.5.6. Now upon every restart the Finder and Quick Look Server use 60-80% of my cpu for 5-10 minutes. This means that I can't really do anything until these processes are done because they cause constant delays. This did not happen in the previous version of Leopard, and if it's intentional on the part of Apple, it's a mistake. Very very annoying. Any ideas how to get this to stop?

The name of this technology - WDS.
HP Laser JET 1536 dnf MFP connect to one of this routers (copper).
Second device (my NETBOOK) connect to second router (WiFi).
I have good communication between NETBOOK and HP Laser JET 1536 dnf MFP via WiFI-bridge.
In usual case NETBOOK can find (and can Ping) network printer and make a print some files.
But my Ipad or Iphone can't find HP Laser JET 1536 dnf MFP (using Eprint). Ipad and iphone connect
to router across WiFi.
Please, help!
