Finding archiving objects

HI all,
I need to do the archiving for the follwoing table in this week end.
CRMD_ORDERADM_H
CRMD_ORDERADM_I
Eein  (incoming documents)
Eaus (outgoing documents).
But I dont find any objects for these tables.
How to find the archiving objects for these tables.
Can any one help me .
Thanks in advance,
Shree.

Hi Swarna,
These tables are related to Service ticket, Service order, Complaints, Incoming call, Outgoing calls, Planned calls and other follow-up activities.
Which means that these 2 tables can be archived by archiving object related to these business transaction such as CRM_SERORD, CRM_ACT_ON, CRM_COMP, CRM_LEAD and so on.
Now you have to take decision, whether you want to archive all these business transaction or you want to pick business transaction that is occupying major database size.
While archiving business transaction using particular Archiving object in the write variant selection screen there will be a field to select transaction type, specify the business type and then proceed for archiving it.
To archive Service Ticket and Service order archiving object is CRM_SERORD
Interaction records, credit memo request, planned calls, incoming call, outgoing call used CRM_ACT_ON
Complaints use CRM_COMP,
Leads use CRM_LEAD.
Hope this will give you some idea in archiving business data in CRM system.
-Thanks,
Ajay

  • How to find out prerequisites of archiving objects?

    As we plan an archiving project for our ERP system, I would like to know how to find out the prerequisites for archiving the different objects.
    For example, as I know for archiving material master data, the usage of object MM_MATNR requires that the deletion flag is set on materials.
    Or as I assume, orders probably can only be archived if they are delivered and closed.
    How to find out these prerequisites?
    Best regards
    Martin

    Hi Martin,
    Network Graphics helps in determining the dependencies among the archiving objects.Once you have sorted out the flow you can schedule archiving in test mode to find more details.
    Eg PP_ORDER you can find out why a particular order is not archivable...may be cos of unsettled balance..etc.
    You can find few details about the prerequisites in the archiving run (test)
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Priya.

  • Archiving object for the tables

    Hi,
    I want to archive the tables.But some of the tables I did not find the archiving object.What should be done on this.Pls guide.
    Tables w/o archiving object which i want to archive
    APQD,ARFCSDATA,DYNPSOURCE,WBBP,REPOLOAD,REPOSRC,BDCP,BDCPS
    Thanks

    Hi Rajesh,
    Not all tables can be archived. For some tables there may be option available for plainly deleting the contents without archiving. Please check the Data Management Guide available at the service marketplace for further information. You may also refer to SAP note 706478.
    Word of caution: Not all tables are meant to be archived / deleted. Some tables maybe required for proper functioning of the SAP system (however big the table is). So please proceed with caution if you are trying to develop a custom program to delete contents from a standard SAP table, you may end up deleting some data which was required. Even when deleting using standard SAP programs, proper due diligence and testing is necessary
    Hope this helps,

  • Archiving object EC_PCA_ITM

    Hi,
    I need to archive data using archiving object EC_PCA_ITM. Now the condition is that in this archiving object, I need to restrict the data (to be archived) to company code 1030 (country US). As the company code field is not available in the selection screen of this archiving object, can you please tell me, how can I limit the data to company code 1030, using other fields in the selection screen.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Anuj

    You need to check and provide the valid combinations of Version, Controlling Area, Fiscal Year to start archiving PCA Documents. You can find it at S_ALR_87004395 - Maintain Versions
    Yes, it would archive and affect balances as it would no longer be available in SAP. But the standard reports of KE5Z and KE5Y are archive enabled.

  • Archiving object

    Hi all,
    How do i know, how many records archived in the archive object. Where can i check the archiving file path? i can able to see the individual table records

    Hello,
    The spool file of the archive write job will contain how many records per table were archived.  If you no longer have the spool file, you will only be able to get the number  of header records archived by going into the Management data and adding up the number of objects per archive file.
    To check the archiving file path, go to the customizing information of the archive object.  Select the Technical Settings under the Archiving Object-Specific Customizing section.  This will show you the logical file name.  This information is also in the AOBJ information.  From there, you would go to transaction FILE.  Find the logical file name and see what logical path is associated with it.  The logical file path definition will contain the actual path.
    Hope this helps.

  • Archiving objects SD_VBRK, SD_VBAK, SD_VTTK, and RV_LIKP

    Hi,
    I need to archive data using archiving objects SD_VBRK, SD_VBAK, SD_VTTK, and RV_LIKP. Now the condition is that in all these archiving objects, I need to restrict the data (to be archived) to company code 1030 (country US). As the company code field is not available in the selection screens of these archiving objects, can you please tell me, how can I limit the data to company code 1030, using other fields in the selection screens.

    Hello Claire,
    If an archive object has Application-Specific customizing, this information must be configured in order for the write program to find data eligible for archiving.  Also, for SD related data, the data must be business complete for it to be archived as well.
    I hope this helps.

  • Archiving objects from tabel QMEL, JEST, JCDS with priotype SR

    Hi,
    In tx SARA I can find 5 archivingobjects to archive data from table QMEL.
    CM_QMEL
    NM_QMEL
    PM_QMEL
    QM_QMEL
    SM_QMEL
    It looks they correspond to the priotypes named in field ARTPR in table QMEL.
    CM, GO, PM, QM, SL, SM, SR
    Our table QMEL consists of records with priotype SR.
    My question: Which object can I use to archive?
    Regards Marco

    Hi,
    I haven't found any documentation related to this so what you can do is spend around 25 mins and test it to see which archiving object suits your need. Try the following in a test environment:
    1. Complete a notification and flag it for deletion.
    2. For every archiving object (you have 5) create a test variant for the pre-processing program. In this variant specify the notification ID in the notification field and select run in "Test mode".
    3. Execute the pre-processing program for each archiving object using the variants that you created and then check their output, you should get an archiving object that selected for archiving this notification and then you can go on with that archiving object.
    Please let me know if this helps.

  • Details of database and status information of archived object can't be seen

    Hi
    I am trying to archive the ODS-0FIAP_O03 and the job overview(T.Code SARA) shows the status as finished. Attached screenshots show the statistics of written data objects and active records in spool. However when we display statistics(T.Code SARA ) , I do not see any details of database and status information of archived object.Please suggest where could the error be.
    Also let me know if you want to see the related screenshots.
    Will award high points.Thanks
    Reenu Lodha

    This could be an issue due to program error.
    Would you provide me the archiving object so as to find OSS notes if available.
    This is a common issue for most of the archiving objects..we do generally miss out the statistics..and that is after the modification in the program, this is ok.

    The compiler doesn't know that you're only putting Strings in as keys. HashMap takes references to Object as keys and hence returns references to Object in keySet(). Note, however, that the object itself is still what you put in there. But the compiler only has the declared return type of the method to look at.
    // pre 1.5
    for (Iterator iter = set.iterator(); iter.hasNext();) {
        String key = (String)iter.next(); // cast Object to String. Only works if you actually put a String in
        // do stuff with key
    // 1.5, if you don't use generics
    for (Object obj : set) {
        String key = (String)obj;
        // do stuff with key
    // 1.5, with generics
    Set<String> set = ...;
    for (String key : set) {
        // do stuff with key
    }Since you have a Map, you'll have Map<String, SomeValueType>.
