Finding copyright information on a song

I was wondering if there's a way to access more detailed copyright information on individual tracks. For example, the album "Christmas With Spike Jones and the Three Suns" lists the record label as Copyright Group, but after Google searching for hours, this record label doesn't seem to exist, nor does the album outside of iTunes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I often answer my own questions it seems, but I found for "show tcp brief" I could do:
# show tcp | i (Local|Foreign) host
or if I wanted to have some spacing in between the output, I could do:
# show tcp | i (Local|Foreign) host|^$

Is there any way to embed chord information in a song?

Can Logic Pro X embed 'chord change' information in a song in some way? For example, is there an a simple obvious way, like a 'chord information global track', that I'm overlooking? Or is there a more convoluted way to get chord information in a song, somehow using the 'Environment'?
This seems like a very basic necessity of a DAW for composers, so I must be overlooking something?
We all agree, right, that this is basic western music theory: chords form the structure of songs? (A music philosophy question.) For instance, a human 'voice instrument' can sing the melody, but the polyphonic instrument brings the support structure.
So when we record a song, it is not atypical to associate a chord tablature with a score. Indeed, it is often the case that only a chord tablature is provided, and is quite sufficient in itself, to carry a song.
So where is the ability to read (i.e., CONVEY and INTERPRET with Midi/OSC exchange) chord tablature in Logic Pro? This is supposedly a 'Pro' application, right? So Logic can read a song 'position', with markers, whereby a secondary app can take that marker position to que song location [e.g., song position (i.e., marker notated) can be recognized by an application like MainStage to quickly switch to various song locations, like the 'intro' or 'chorus']. So with a change in song 'position', a song will typically have a change in song 'chord structure'. Therefore if the Midi instrument can recognize (without human intervention) this embedded (notated) 'chord structure' (which I'm having trouble finding), it should be able to change the Midi notes it is playing to properly accompany the song's 'chord structure'.
Because what I just described should be somewhat obvious and intuitive to professional musician/composers, where in Logic Pro is the ability to embed 'Chord Structure' information, that I evidently am overlooking? Hopefully, some of the experienced 'pros', like Nigel, will chime in here.

Based on that info, I doubt (but don't yet know for sure) whether they can translate over into the Midi realm for song structure composition/editing.
(Note, that link is to the Logic Pro 9 user manual, and I have yet to find a reference that succinctly and unbiasedly informs the reader what features APPLE HAS REMOVED from Logic Pro X. )

How do i find the total numbers of songs in my itunes music library?

I scrolled to the bottom of the music listing to no avail. I clicked on the various tabs, i.e., file, view, edit, etc., also without success. The only way I was able to find the information was to print-out the first page of the list of songs from the file menu. I couldn't find anything help from apple.com/support or the web. Is there another/easier way?

I'd like to apologize to all that viewed, and especially those who responded with suggestions. I apparently overlooked/didn't notice the total songs and length of time at the bottom of the screen. Bridge galleries not showing copyright information

I just installed PS CS4, and updated to 11.0.1. I tried creating a quick web photo gallery, and the copyright information doesn't appear anywhere - not on the images, not on the site or web pages. Is this a known issue? I can't seem to find any information on it

The reason why whis was puzzling me is that the automated photo gallery used to put the actualy copyright text on the photo - it appears that this is no longer the case with CS4 (I skipped CS3, so I have no idea if this was introduced in 3 or 4)

Where can I find license information about Apple Distributed music?

I created a movie and published it on a site similar to YouTube; unfortunately I used music distributed by Apple via iMovie and Soundtrack Pro and I need to show that I am able to use said music. I am unable to find this information in the programs except for in the actual file information, which states it a Copyrighted by Apple Inc. But I probably still need to find the statement or document that says I can use their music for these non-profit purposes.

Look at paragraph 2.C.
Paragraph 2 says Permitted License Uses and Restrictions
Paragraph C. discusses the royalty free use of the music included.
(The pdf is locked so I couldn't extract the actual text.)
Basically it says you can't distribute the pieces separately - but you can use content that includes them. Please read it yourself!

Title information of the song played in Audacious in a widget

Hi,
i am using Awesome as wm and Audacious as media player. Now i want to write a widget to display informations of the song played by Audacious in a widgetbar. That should contain the title, the length of the song and the time the song alredy has been played.
But how can i get these information from Audacious? I searched everywhere, i thought, i could find the code, but i didn't. So is there anybody who can finaly help me finishing the widget?

It's not possible to view the code that was used to redeem an iTuness gift card but you can view your balance.
From the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Sign In
Select iTunes Store from the source list on the left.
Your balance should be available just above QUICK LINKS right side of the iTunes window.

It sounds like iTunes seems to have lost track of all your music and you must locate each file individually. I would recommend at this point that you check for 3rd party plugins to see if there are any causing an issue:

How to find required information in order to log on Business View Manager?

After Business Object Client installation successfully, I try to log on Business View Manager, but failed. One pop-up windows(Log on BusinessObjects Enterprise) come and let me put the information as below;

You need to find this information from a person who installed server part of this deployment.
System: Name of the CMS server
User name: Administrator or other user name that exist in the Enterprise
Password: obviously...
Authentication: type of the authentication setup on the server side for the user you will be using.

Error on hover panel of people search result "We weren't able to find additional information"

In people search result while hovering over all result item, in the hover panel in the middle I can see a message "We weren't able to find additional information".
I saw a msdn post for the same question in this

but there it is said that "If the person has no authored documents, then it will display this in the hover panel: We weren't able to find additional information."
But for my case the authored document is also shown.

We have created a custom package where in we are trying to call the standard API's of Oracle projects i.e PA_PROJECT_PUB.When we are trying to call these APIs we are facing the below issue.
We have tried testing in two instances ,Initially it worked in both instances.
Using the same API's multiple times we tested the same data set in these instances.
For the first few runs it works fine.But when we go on using the same API's again and again for our testing we face now and then the below issue.

Could not find installation information for this machine contact applecare

I installed Lion on my MacBook, worked great. After 2 months I wanted to clean install the Lion on the same Macbook; went to Apple Support website and there they had instructions on how to clean install Lion.
I followed the instructions and erased the partition where the OS Lion was installed. Then I tried to re-install it, it kept saying "could not find installation information for this machine contact applecare".
When I contacted apple care, they asked me to pay 49 dollars in order to get help from them. I already paid the cost for the LION OS and now they want another 49 bucks. This is just insane. I'm not a fan of Apple, Mac or iCrap. But I was thinking to buy a new Mac after selling this one. Now I have no interest in buying any Mac product. Windows 7 is much much better than Lion OS X.
I have to fix this before I sell it on ebay so Has anyone tried to clean install Lion ?

I'm with you, OS X Lion has turned a lot of stomachs.
Here's how to go about what you need to do:
Get out your 10.6 installer disk, make sure it's clean and polished (bit of rubbing alcohol and a very soft cloth)
Get 2 blank external drives, connect one and hold c and boot off the 10.6 installer disk, use Disk Utility to format the external drive use
Erase>Security Option> Zero all data, wait
under the partition tab
1 partition, option MBR, format FAT
Disconnect and reboot.
Repeat the same procedure for the second drive and format the
Erase>Security Option> Zero all data, wait
under the partition tab
1 partition, option GUID, format OS X Extended Journaled
Quit and install 10.6 on the external GUID drive.
Reboot holding the option key, you can boot off the 10.6 external drive, setup, use your same user name as before, update to 10.6.8, grab your files off the OSX Lion partition, transfer a copy to the FAT formatted drive.
What you do is your choice,
To continue using the machine under 10.6
you can erase the entire (select the whole internal drive, not just the OS X Lion Paritition) and use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone 10.6 external to the internal drive,
To sell the machine with a fresh 10.6 install
or simply hold c boot off the 10.6 installer disk and install 10.6 on the internal drive and upon reboot, just hard shutdown by pressing the powerbutton before going through setup. The next person who gets the machine will be greeted by the setup again.
You can use the files on the FAT drive on your Windows PC in some cases.
Else download the free LibreOffice and it can read quite a few file formats.

I am using OS X utilities and try to reinstall OS X.
Then the screen popped up : To Download and restore OS X, your computer's eligibility will be verified with Apple.
However, the message now I am getting is : Could not find installation information for this machine. Contact AppleCare.
Any body know how to deal with this ?

Make sure that your network connection satisfies the requirements for Recovery or Internet Recovery, depending on which you're trying to use. If possible, connect to the router with Ethernet.
Reboot and try again.
Connect to a different network, if possible.
Wait a few hours and try again.
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.
