Finding fund lines into iPhone Stocks App

Hi all
Great difficulties to catch some "fund lines" with Stocks iPhone application...
Data source is Yahoo finance and however :
When I ask to iPhone Stocks to find a fund which ISIN code is FR0007076930... It fails...
When I ask to Yahoo finance Web site search engine to find the same fund with same code... It succeeds !
Anybody could explain ? Or perhaps a special tag must precede ISIN code into the iPhone request ?
I have no difficulties with ordinary stock lines into french market with shortened names...
I don't know where to find particular request syntax for a site as Yahoo finance...

I'm sorry I can't provide more details, but I'm also in the very early stages of putting the app together. I unfortunately can't provide code because...well I guess I don't have very much haha. I guess I'm mainly wondering if this is possible. All I have so far is very simple, just a single UIWebView that brings up a webpage.
Just wondering if anyone has any idea if this is possible?

I use often stocks app in my iPhone and this good for quick info. Unfortunately i can't transfer this app to my iPad mini without jailbrake.
I don't want use jailbrake on my iOS devices what are the solution.

Thanks your quick replay! I bought some stock apps what are usefuly but the stocks app on iPhone what i preferred and this not are on App Store. With jailbrake you can easily transfer but this not my way

Is there a way of quickly finding iPad versions of iPhone/IPT apps?

We have a bunch of apps for our iPod Touch. We're looking for a quick way to identify and install versions for the iPad.
Any tips, suggestions?

In the apps section of your iTunes library, apps that already include support for iPad will show in the top section, *Apps for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad*, in iTunes 9.1 or later.
In the App Store, compatible apps have a + next to them to show they are compatible with all devices. The App Store on iOS 4 also shows the icon, too.
You should also check for app updates to see if any have added support for iPad. But most of them are separate iPad apps because of higher price, different features etc. and won't appear in app updates. Just search the app name in the App Store and if they have an iPad version, it should be noted as HD or *for iPad*.

Stocks App Broken on Gold & Silver

In the past, you could pull Gold or Silver spot prices with XAUUSD=X or XAGUSD=X respectively. While the app still recognizes the symbols and enters them into the display, the app fails to bring up the prices. Currency exchange symbols like USDEUR=X still work but not silver or gold. The problem is NOT with Yahoo since the gold and silver symbols work perfectly fine from their website. Perhaps the current app is getting hung up when it can't bring up the history charts - the commodity symbols don't include charts. As the app worked with the gold & silver symbols in the past, what's the fix?

Yes, I have noticed this as well - it is quite frustrating. I used to get stock and currency prices all the time using the iPhone Stocks app, but since v2.0 the prices and changes are blank. A chart gets displayed, but no price and/or change. Could it be a text formatting bug?

I like the iphone stocks app very much. Bloomberg, Market Dash and all other applications are fine, but none of them is like stocks app.

There are dozens of Stocks apps. Hard to believe one can't satisfy your needs. If not, use Safari and access a financial website directly.

Not unless it goes back online. If it was stolen it may have been restored, in which case it will never appear again in Find My iPhone.

It then takes me into google maps where I constantly discover that the pin has moved. It often moves off the property of the addresss or building I dropped a pin on. I am trying to solve this. Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch.

TS3376 power % bug in the Find my iPhone web app?

Hi iCloud users, I think I have spotted a bug in the Find my iPhone web app.
When you have multiple devices and locate them on the map, the pop up window that shows the device battery remaining, it has a problem it will show the 1st device power for all when you hover over it. I think the displayed icon is correctly changing but for instance what ever device I show 1st shows the same percentage for subsequent devices iPad and all. If you sign out and back into iCloud wep page it then will show the 1st % again even if you start from a different device.

Make sure that you set up your iCloud account on both devices and that Find My iPhone is turned On. You can also verify if your two iPads' location by signing in to www.icloud.com then Find My iPhone.

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, all a thief or whoever finds it has to do is force the phone into recovery mode & restore it. While this deletes all data on the phone, it also removes the passcode so the phone can then be used as a phone or touch.

The non-stock apps such as Facebook and any games won't open on my iPhone 3G. I have searched all through the discussion board and have tried a number of things. I'm a little desperate.
Things I have tried that have failed:
Turn iPhone off and then on
Hardsetting the iPhone
Restoring iPhone
Deleting and the re-adding the apps
Downloading new apps
Deleting and then re-downloading apps
Glaring at the iPhone
Obviously nothing is working so far. Please help me. : / my iPhone is my life. I use it for everything; school, work, relationships . . . EVERYTHING!!!
