Finding iphone 5c without icloud or app installed

Hi
Im hoping someone amazing can tell me how I can find my iPhone 5c
I lost it on Friday night at some stage (in my own house nonetheless) but I can't find it anywhere and wondering if maybe someone accidentally took it home with them, since we were all taking photos with it.
I did not have the find my phone app installed nor did I have any iCloud set up with it either.
Saturday afternoon my friend rang it and told me it rang so I know it was at least around with some battery life but Sunday morning it was flat..
I have since put my number onto a different sim and am using my old samsung with the same number..
I have also tried to use my apple ID to track it on iCloud (after setting it up today - Monday)  but all its tracking is my MacBook on which I set iCloud up on.
I really need to find my iPhone - paid outright for it and am spewin' that I've lost it!
I've been told its possible to find your iPhone with your apple ID without actually having the app or iCloud set up on it previously.
Please someone tell me how i can do this? I have searched what feels like everywhere for it!
Please please and thankyou!
Zoe

  • How can I find an ipod without icloud, serial number, or an app

is there any possible way I can find my ipod without icloud, or an app? and where else can I find the serial # besides on the product that is lost?

    Nope.
What To Do If Your iDevice Is Lost Or Stolen
If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if Wi-Fi is enabled on the device. What you cannot do is track your device using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your device for you. You cannot recover your loss unless you insure your device for such loss. It is not covered by your warranty.
If your iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, or iPad is lost or stolen what do you do? There are things you should have done in advance - before you lost it or it was stolen - and some things to do after the fact. Here are some suggestions:

  • How to sync Outlook 2010 calendar (on my local windows 7 computer) with my iPhone 5c without  iCloud?

How to sync Outlook 2010 calendar (on my local windows 7 64 bit computer) with my iPhone 5c without  iCloud?

You would sync Outlook via iTunes on the computer. Connect the iPhone to the computer, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes running, select the iPhone in iTunes and it will display the Summary page. Select the Info tab, and there you would select what you want to sync calendar and contacts to. Make sure since this is the first time you have done a sync that whichever of the devices is new to the sync process has at least one unique contact/calendar event to get iTunes to prompt you for a merge or replacement. You can see this support document for help in setting up initial syncing. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1296

The old fashioned way, like if lost your shoe.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police

  • I lost my iphone 6, on previous month. I didn't setup icloud in my device. Is there possibilities to find my phone without icloud account??

I lost my iphone 6, 64GB on December 2014. I didn't setup icloud  in my device. Now I unable to track my iphone without icloud. I there any possibilities to track my iphone with (IMEI and Apple id).
I download icloud in my computer and sign in with apple id, but it can't access
    Please suggest me....

No. The only way to track it is with Find my iPhone. Why you would not set up this free service is beyond me. It's one of the first things you're prompted to do when you set it up.

No app on the iPod is required.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    iCloud: Erase your device
    iCloud: Use Lost Mode
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

  • Can't find iPhone backup on icloud (only shows iPad backups)

Setting up new iPhone 5 from icloud (previous one lost). Updated iOS (previous iPhone had iOS 7) but can't find iPhone backup (only shows iPad backups); however, I can see all my contacts on iCloud.com. Can all my contacts be there without having made any iPhone backup on iCloud? iPad is on 6.1.3

    hi,
Maybe you can try some data recovery program to search your iPhone backup files. These kinds of data recovery programs
for example, iPhone Data Recovery, are designed to help users to find back and recover their lost files.
I suggest that you run this kind of software, and then choose the 3rd mode in the software to retrieve all of your iCloud backup, I guess you can see your iPhone backup there.
With such awesome software, you can also recover deleted or lost iPhone data.
    Good luck, friend.

  • How to install apps purchased from itunes 11 without removing old apps installed from ipod touch?

I recently purchased apps from the app store using my computer (through itunes) and I cannot sync those apps to my ipod touch. Whenever I try to sync those apps I got from itunes, it automatically removes the apps I downloaded directly on my ipod touch. How can I install the apps I got from itunes without removing the apps I downloaded directly on my ipod touch? I hope my question is clear and I hope someone can help me Thanks in advance!

I already use the "Transfer Purchases" function in itunes and sync. And then what happened was when I try to click on "install" on an app I got from the computer, I can see the summary bar of my ipod's memory move. For example, my ipod has 3.23 gb remaining memory and then I try to click on "install" on 1 app then suddenly it moves to 5.21 gb remaining memory.

  • How do I synch my podcasts directly from my MacBook with iPhone/iPad (without iCloud)?

    Hi,
I am using an MacBook with iTunes 11.2.2. (3) and an iPhone/iPad with the most recent iOS 7.1.2.
What annoys me is the coud symbole on my iPhone/iPad when I want to listen to my Podcasts. Is there any way to have a direct synchronization of podcasts from my MacBook to my iPhone/iPad? In a nutshell: why do I have to download the same content twice?
Unfortunately, I am sometimes in remote areas without internet/mobile phone coverage. Thus, I would simply get all stuff from my MacBook on my iPhone/iPad without any (unnecessary) detour via the cloud just as in the back old days, when you had to use iTunes for any data transfer to you iPod.
    Looking forward to your insights!
    Best regards
    Torsten

    Hi Torsten_75,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  If I'm understanding your question correctly, you want to be able to sync Podcasts directly from your Macbook with your iPhone/iPad.  You can still do that via the iTunes software on your Mac and the Podcasts app for your device:
Podcasts app for iOS: Syncing podcasts
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6202
    Mac or PC
Open iTunes and then click the iTunes menu.
Choose Preferences and then click the Store tab.
Place a checkmark next to "Sync podcast subscriptions and settings."
    Details on syncing
Enabling syncing for podcasts syncs subscriptions, stations, and play position. Here are the details on everything that syncs.Subscriptions
    Subscribing
Syncing podcast subscriptions will download the newest episode for each podcast you are subscribed to (but not previous episodes for that podcast). If you choose to download other episodes for a subscription on one device, they won't automatically download to your other devices. See the transferring section below for more information.
    Unsubscribing
If you unsubscribe from a podcast on one device, all of your other devices will unsubscribe to that podcast. If you re-enable a subscription to a podcast, all of your other devices will subscribe to that podcast again.
    Deleting
When you delete a subscription on a device you'll also automatically be unsubscribed to it on all of your devices. If you delete a podcast on your iOS device, iTunes on your computer will show the message "This podcast has been deleted from another device, but has saved episodes."
If you click Resolve you'll see the message "Do you want to delete or restore syncing of the podcast?"
If you want to keep any episodes that you've saved on your computer, click Restore Sync on the the dialog box. The subscription will then be added back to your other devices.
If you click Delete, the podcast and all its episodes will be deleted. If you delete a podcast subscription on your computer, it will delete the subscription on your iOS devices including downloaded episodes (unless they're marked as Saved).
StationsWhen you create a station in iTunes on your computer, it will appear on your other devices. If you create a station in the Podcasts app for iOS it will appear on your other devices. Any station settings you change will also sync to all of your devices. If you delete a station on one of your devices, it’ll delete on every other one too.Playback positionPodcasts can remember your playback position between devices and computers so you can always start where you left off. As long as syncing for Podcasts remains on for your iOS device, playback position will sync. However, you'll need to enable this setting in iTunes on your Mac or PC since it's off by default. On your computer
From iTunes pull-down menu select Preferences
    Click the Store tab
Enable "Sync playback information across devices." It may take a few minutes for syncing to finish.
    Transferring episodes and playlists
Podcast episodes on one device don't automatically download on your other devices. If you want all your downloaded episodes to appear on your other devices, you'll need to sync your iOS devices to your computer over Wi-Fi or with a USB cable.
Connect your iOS device to your Mac or PC with iTunes.
    Click the Podcasts tab.
Pick which downloaded podcasts should appear on your iOS devices as well.
To sync an iTunes playlist of podcasts to your iOS devices, place a checkmark next to them under "Include Episodes from Playlists." These playlists will appear in My Stations in the Podcasts app for iOS.
    Click Sync.
    Cheers,
    - Judy

The "finding app" or iphone has nothing to do with it.
IF you set up find my ipod on the ipod itself AND it is on AND it is connected to wi-fi AND it has not been found and restored, then you may be able to get an aproximate stree address using icloud.com.
    Otherwise, you annot track it.

  • Sync iPhone contacts without iCloud by using Bittorrent Sync?

iCloud (or iTunes) has messed up my contacts again, duplicating and altering some. Bittorrent Sync is highly recommended for syncing folders between multiple devices without going through any cloud server. It would be perfect for syncing contacts but it's not possible to find the contacts data on an iPhone. Is there a way?
