Finding my serial number without the disc/box/email.

I have the program installed on my old computer, and it is still functional. I would like to download it onto my new computer, but when I look for the serial number in the program, the number it gives me cannot be verified when attempting to re-install from an adobe download which asks for the serial number. What do I do?

There's actually an even simpler solution that doesn't include buying a new version of Logic. He can use his original version easily. Of course, that depends if the OP knows how to effectively use his computer though...

So, if your trying to locate your serial, or IMEI number in iTunes, assuming that you do have a backup there, click on the half white and half black box in the top left hand corner in iTunes for windows, and iTunes in the top left hand corner on a Mac. After that scroll down to preferences, and then a window will pop up. Select Devices up top in the list of options and then you will see your backups. Hover your mouse over the backups and it will show the serial/IMEI number for your device

I tunes will find it by itself during the install process. It is in settings if you want to know what it is, but you do not need it for the install process.

STOLEN MacBook Pro and cannot find my serial number for the device is there anyway else I could locate it because I have used find my iPhone to locate device but it is not registered even tho I have used the same app to locate my phone on my laptop.

The only way you can find it is using Find My Mac (or iPhone or whatever). Knowing your serial number does not help except if the police finds it and needs to identify it as yours.
If you didn't turn on the Find My Mac service (System Preferences>icloud), then you can't track it.
