Finding out the field name from the columns shown on the screen
Hi,
I am new to CRMOD.
I see a lot of columns shown on the screen, say in the Account object.
Is there a way to find out which column in the Detail screen maps to which exact field in the Admin page ?

If you go to Admin > Application Customization > Account > Account Field Setup, you will see the list of all the fields. If you have custom fields, then click on the Rename button on the top left corner of the page, and then Advanced and it will show you the ITAGs of the fields.
Since you are new to CRMOD, play around with it and also read the help file and you would understand the app a lot better

How to populate the folder names from a particular folder in the drop down of a control?
I am using an EDIT VI inorder to create MODEL, DRAWING NO and the other parameters and save it. For each new MODEL a new folder will get created at a specific path.
How can I populate all those MODEL names in the dropdown of a control?If I undesrstand correctly you have a specific path containing sub folders, and you want to list all subfolders in a drop down manu?
you should create a manu ring that you'll use as your drop down manu.
then use the vi "list folder" on your path to get a list of all subfolders, and wire it to a "strings[]" property node of the ring control. The ring manu will then be populated with the list of folders.

How to get the item name from a column in an interactive report?
I created an interactive report. Then on the same page I added a tabular form region. What I want to implement is that, when I click a column link button on a specific row, the name of the row will be passed to the tabular region, so that the tabular region can list the corresponding items that belong to that specific row. But I have no idea what the name it is. Any idea? Thanks!
Thanks! I've got it work! Now I can associate many product to a specific ProductNumber.
Another issue comes up: I want to be able to add more products in this category. But when I press the "Add Row" button, it generates a new line but with ProductNumber null. This results me in failing to insert the new record, because the rule is that ProductNumber can't be null, and also it can't be assured that the new record is associated with this category (ProductNumber). What can I do to make it automatically come up with the same ProductNumber for new records? I guess some kind of a trigger may be needed, but I don't know how to do it.

Finding the lowest number from several columns
Hi all,
I'm analysing data from students' two years course where they had 4 units. What I'd like to be able to do is see at a glance which of the 4 units for each student was their lowest - therefore allowing me to see if one unit in particular was letting them down. see pic and the 4 highlighted columns.
I have got the info as a graph, but you have to look individual at each one.
Can anyone help with a formula that could present the results for each student by the column header. E.g. In column A is the student names and in column B is the name of the column they got the lowest mark (in this case MS1, MS2, MS3 or MS4). I would love to be able make this as will really help next year's cohort!

Have a look at the SMALL function. It allows you to see the smallest, second smallest... value in a list.
The SMALL function returns the nth-smallest value within a set of numeric values. The smallest value is ranked number 1.
SMALL(value-set, ranking)
value-set: A collection of number values, date/time values, or duration values. All values must be of the samevalue type.
ranking: A number value representing the size ranking of the value you want to retrieve. ranking must be in the range of 1 to the number of values in the collection.
Type = in a cell to bring up the Functions Panel. Type small in the search box.

Populate information when double click on the field name
I have this tree structure with the field names as shown at this picture.

When I double click on the field name, I would like to populate the values related to the fieldname to the tab form next to the tree structure as should in the picture.
How am I suppose to do this?

I have never used method SET_USER_COMMAND (cl_gui_alv_grid) before so I do not really know its function.
However, you event handler FORM routine belongs to the old-fashioned fm-based ALV lists (e.g. REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY_LVC) so I doubt whether this will work together.
If you have define a column as HOTSPOT then this trigger the class event HOTSPOT_CLICK.
Correspondingly a double-click on the ALV grid triggers event DOUBLE_CLICK.
For a sample report regarding ALV event handling have a look at the links provided in

Go to se11 and give ur field name in the data type selecttion and click on Display.
Double click on Domain. Goto Value range tab page. In the bottom you can see Value table.

I guess you are looking out for the formname which prints sales related documents.
If this is what you want,then go to the T-code NACE and select the option K1Sales activities and click on the Output Types button on the top.The new window has all the types of Output types listed.Select the most appropriate and double click on the Processing routines button in the left side screen.
The new window lists the program names and the forms associated with that output type.

How to add get the field name for a newly added site column.
I have the following:-
Enterprise wiki site collection inside SharePoint server 2013.
I added a new site column of type managed metadata.
I opened the enterprisewiki.aspx page layout using the SP designer, to add the newly added site column to it.
But I have noted that to add any site column I need to know the field name , for example the default wiki category column is referenced inside the page layout as follow:-

I have some user profiles in web-inf directory.SO I want to know the path from root directory like
d:/program files/allaire/jrun/appname/web-inf/profiles/username like that.
Presently I am able to get the path upto the application directory and from that I am concatinationg web-inf/profiles/username .
But it is giving problems when it is deployed under unix or linux.Because web-inf there it treats as WEB_INF
SO I want to get the path of web-inf directory with out hard coding.

Note sure why you need this, but you don't need the real path to read the file - you can get an InputStream using the relative path. See ServletContext getResource() and getResourceAsStream(). -

The Output file name could be used from the field value of payload. For this you need to use the UDF DynamicFile name with below code,
