Finding pdf files on my android based smartphone with the new Adobe Acrobat DC

All of a sudden, I no longer have Adobe Reader, which was very efficient.
Had a directory so that I could access all of my files.
Highlight and comment tools.
Now I have nothing.
It would have been better to provide an option to retain the app rather than be upgraded to an app that doesn't work for me, period.

You can still browse through all documents on your device. Please follow the instructions here:

This should bring up you system file browser and you can browse through your files on the device as well as those on cloud integrations like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.
All the Comment Tools are now in the Comment Tool. Please follow MobileDevCK's response on this thread:

No. It's an app from the AppStore. Like all other apps from the AppStore you choose which ones to download.

Unable to open PDF file in browser using Reader 9 with IE8

I just updated to IE8 and when trying to open a PDF file on the browser, I received a message stating to use Adobe Reader 8 or 9. I downloaded AR9 and still receive the same message and cannot open PDF files in browser window. It defaults to my Adobe Acrobat 6.0 which will not open the file. I have Windows XP. I do not have a problem opening a PDF file in Yahoo mail with AR9. I have tried many different ideas on the web to no avail. Appreciate any help to be able to default to open PDF files in the browser using AR9 which is apparently required by IE8.

Fixed problem by taking to a computer store to find that my hard drive storage was maxed out. I had the hard drive repaced with a larger amount of storage. Problem resulted from inadequate amount of storage space which prevented me from downloading and installing Adobe Reader 9.

I am not aware of a way except for photos that allows you to select multiple files in an email. I even checked settings in the Adobe Reader app, and it does not show that ability.

I think if you use the start-command, the execution is asynchronously and you won't get the correct process-id. Try to execute Acorbat directly without the cmd /c start in front of it.

Hey thanx for the help, it worked like a charm.
I think firefox changed the application lay out, as I used to be able to choose my PDF opener from the list at " Adobe Acrobat Forms Document' where I could choose Nitro-PDF reader, but it has now moved all the way to the bottom like you suggested to the obvious place of "Portable Document Format" section.
If someone didn't tell me , I wouldn't have scrolled all the way down to be able to find it... it really should be with all its cousins up the top...

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Would appreciate some assistance if possible: I'm looking to de-bugg my system so that I can download, open, read and print .PDF files again. My Macbook running in 10.4 was recently stolen, so needed to buy as a replacement a refurbished Macbook with OS 10.6.6 and Safari 5.0.5 installed. Had this problem from the outset, so following some web-advice, I downloaded and installed the new Adobe reader 10.0.1. So far it has not fixed the problem. When I try to download a PDF and open it, the browser window comes up dark grey. If I try to save it to the desktop or hard drive, it tells me the PDF file can not be exported.
