bly-325
brx-149
bry-337
sprintf(xvalalerte,
"blx%-d,bly::%d,
brx::%d,bry::%d",

For Reference i done manual calculations
I manually work out based on 1 inches and 24 pixels[72/3] for string work
values on
width of word [7*24]-168
values on
height of word ,slanted as 30px from W char to k char from horizontal bottom
if i do manual 30/168=>.178
double deg= (.178) * (180 / Math.PI);=>10
The Output should be 10degree or -350degree
PDF height:768px,width:1024px

In Preview, when I add text annotations to my PDF (lecture note slides), they look fine until I close it and reopen it, and then they are rotated 90 degrees. How do I fix this and keep it from happening again?

I have the same problem with lectures slides.
Furthermore, sometimes the text box, when doube-clicking, turns  the text into a one-liner. Causing the text box to sometimes get 3. times wider than the pdf itself.

By pressing [cmd + I] the Inspector opens up and clicking on the rightmost tab 'Annotations' you should be able find those Annotations again. I do this regularly to find the empty annotations I accidentally create while clicking through slides.

  • Portrait pics rotate 90 degrees when emailed/texted.

When sharing pictures from my G3, pictures that i take as a portrait are shown rotated 90 degrees or in landscape mode.  They show correctly on my G3 even when i rotate the phone.  However, pictures I take with the phone on it's side(landscape) display correctly when I open them up on a pc/text.  I can't see a setting to change on the phone to correct this.  I've had 3 G2's in the last four weeks and none of them had this issue and couldn't find answer with Google search.  TIA!

Luckily, after uploading a photo on Facebook, Facebook gives you the option of rotating the photo. Just click the 90º arrow next to the photo.
My problem WAS uploading the photos to another online photo album (gardenguides.com-- a gardening blog). Even tho' I'd fix the orientation in Preview and save them with the correct orientation, when I uploaded them to gardenguides.com, they came out upside-down or sideways. I worked around it by first saving them in the correct orientation in Preview, then uploading them to Photobucket (a free online photo storage site). For some reason, Photobucket DOES keep them oriented exactly the way I have them saved.
THEN, once they are uploaded to Photobucket, I looked at one at a time, control+click and scrolled to the option of "Save this image." (In other words, I downloaded the photos I had just uploaded to Photobucket.) Then I took THOSE saved images and uploaded THEM to my gardenguides.com blog, where they came out right-side-up. It was a hassle, but it worked. Thankfully it was only 5 photos that I took incorrectly-- someone on here said to be sure from now on to hold your iPhone with the Home button on the right when taking pictures.

  • Why do circles rotated 45 degrees in PowerPoint slides not appearing in PDF -- a bug?

I am using Acrobat XI Professional and PowerPoint 2013 in Windows 8.
I have two PowerPoint slides. One slide is a filled-in circle. The other slide has another filled-in cirlce that is rotated 45 degrees. When I convert the PowerPoint presentation with the two slides to PDF using Acrobat > Create PDF, the circle that is rotated 45 degrees does not appear in the PDF document. This is true for all circles rotated by a factor of 45 degrees with the excpetion of circles that are factors of 90 degrees. LoriAUC pointed out to me that Save As > PDF works -- and it does.

Have you looked at Delete and Close Gap as well as Delete for what you describe?
Nonetheless, adding or moving clips to an existing Timeline content without disturbing the existing Timeline content can be challenging and complex under certain scenarios.
Typical solutions include making these moves with a keyboard modified held down (Windows Alt or Ctr). I am strictly an Elements Windows user, so we will need to find the Mac counterparts for the Windows keyboard modifier techniques.
Also, if one move triggers a multi-chain disaster, then you should consider grouping block of clips so that they do not move while you are busy with your Timeline maneuvers. Check out the Clip Menu options for Group and Ungroup.
Some times in the "Mac condition", you need to use fn in addition to the command to achieve some of these Windows counterparts.
The following video tutorial on arranging clips and keyboard modifiers is being posted for informational non promotional reasons.
Premiere Elements: Arranging clips on the Timeline using modifier keys | lynda.com - YouTube
It is demo'd with Premiere Elements 8, but the principles are the same for later versions of the program.
Here is one variation of the issue on Windows.
ATR Premiere Elements Troubleshooting: PE: Delete and Close Gap Failures
You should not have to delete audio to prevent it from being split by an addition to an existing Timeline. The keyboard modifiers should help you resolve this type of issue.

  • Rotate3D : How to find rotating image's angle reached 90

I am looking for a solution to find rotated image's angle.
Say an image is rotating from 0 to 180 along the y axis it has to cross 90degree mark. Is it possible to listen motion of image in degrees while animation is playing?

Sorry, Its not what I am looking for.
I am looking for a listener or something which will trigger when it reaches certein angle say 90degrees. I am rotating an image from 0 to 180 along the y axis (by setting angleYFrom & angleYTo not along x axis) and I have to flip an image when it reaches 90, so that reversed image can be avoided. Making it show face all the way it reaches 270 degrees from 90.

  • Fire Fox sent not all the data in text form. Reached only piece of information. Where can I find the cache of sent text?

Fire Fox sent not all the data in text form. Reached only piece of information. Where can I find the cache sent the text?
For example, I posted an article on a news site, but found that only a small part of my article was posted.

I'm not sure whether Firefox saved that information. There is a chance that it is in the session history file, especially if you haven't closed that tab yet. To check that:
Open your currently active Firefox settings folder (AKA your Firefox profile folder) using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Find all files starting with the name sessionstore and copy them to a safe working location (e.g., your documents folder). In order to read a .js file, it is useful to rename it to a .txt file. Or you could drag it to Wordpad or your favorite word processing software.
The script will look somewhat like gibberish, but if you search for a word in your article that doesn't normally appear in web pages, you may be able to find your data.
    Any luck?
For the future, you might want to consider this add-on, although I don't know how long it saves data after you submit a form: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lazarus-form-recovery/].

  • Copy and paste of links in landscape rotates 90 degrees

When doing copy/paste of multiple links on landscape forms in Acrobat 10, the links pasted rotated 90 degrees. How can this be fixed? I saw a post with the same problem for Acrobat 9 Pro, and they were able to use ctrlC/ctrlV, but that does not work for us. We have maps with MANY links and the maps get updated frequently, so we have to move the links over. It is way too time consuming to have to recreate all the links every time the map changes. It works fine in portrait version, why is there a problem with landscape? Please help!!! Lisa

It was printed to .pdf from Autocad which always prints portrait, we then rotated the map to landscape.

I find dotted circles in my text.  I don't know how they got there or what they're for.  These dotted "o" characters print out, too.

Thanks for taking the time to suggest the screen shot.  Actually, I neglected to say that I was working in a Thai font and, after posting my question, it dawned on me that I should check the keyboard template again.  Well, in Thai, vowel and accent symbols show on the template with the dotted zeroes below as place setters, They don't show IF one doesn't make a typing error, which is what I did.  Sorry for the false alarm, and thanks, again.

It very well may be because when you do a Save As > PDF it works. I would submit this behavior to the Feature Request/Bug Report Form.

  • Images Rotated 90 Degrees on prints

i am having this issue with the Apple version of Adobe Illustrator CS3. We just got a new printer (Sharp MX-3501N) and it has a Fiery 2 print server on it. When i print illustrator documents to it, the first page comes out great. Comes out landscape on 11x17 paper. But if i tell it i want any more then just one print (2 or more copies) the first page comes out fine, each additional page comes out with the image rotated 90 degrees and is printed right off the page and leaves a blank space on the bottom of the page. Adobe is updated, MacOS (10.5) is updated, i have tried printing from other programs and everything else prints fine, and i have updated the drivers.
I am an authorized sharp service center and i talked to Sharp technician support about it and they said that because Adobe handles the print job from start to finish, there is likely a setting in illustrator that is messed up. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm not sure if I understand your problem. If it uses a proper PS RIP, the rasterized version will be stored in it and it should initiate printing multiple copies, not the computer that sends over the PS/ PDF data. Are you sure you're not missing out on some silly check mark somewhere in teh printer driver? what you describe strikes me more as an "only print first page differently/ print cover sheet" option as you would use them in an office program. Is Illustrator actually set to handle the print job (which would be kinda pointless on a hardware RIP)? If so, you should get this odd behavior with other printer drivers as well (PDF document printer etc.) and then indeed it would be the program's fault...

  • Imac [plus 2nd display - can you work with one display rotated 90 degrees?

I'm thinking of getting a Dell Ultrasharp 24" monitor to use as a 2nd screen from my iMac 20". The Dell screen seems to rotate 90 degrees so you can view it landscape or portrait. If you're working with 2 displays functioning as one giant desktop, can you rotate the 2nd display 90 degrees, and still use the 2 monitors as a giant desktop?
Any advice much appreciated - thank you!

Leopard has a built-in feature for rotating the display. It's in System Preferences Displays pane. You can select to rotate the image 90, 180, or 270 degrees. It even works for my massive 21-inch CRT that I use with my iMac as the extended desktop, although it would be very difficult to physically use that monitor in portrait orientation.
So what you are describing should work.

  • Rotate -90 degrees to play in a vertical monitor...

    Hi all!
Is it possible to Rotate -90 degrees image to play in a vertical monitor...
I have all the sequence edited with Motion / FCP / PSPs... now the client needs a dvd to play in a vertical monitor.
Is it possible to rotate in DVDsp (at the burn time)?
A couple of guys told me that Nero could do it... ok... Nero = Windows... so... nahhh...
    Do you have a tip?
(ok i could rotate in FCP, but what about the background...)
    Help!
    Thank you!
    HBars

Even if Nero could do this, you really would not want to. Your dimensions are going to be all wrong. You would have to scale up your video (making everything soft and fuzzy) and then hope that nothing happens on the left or right of the video (which are now cropped off).
If you want a vertical video (that doesn't look like crap) you will have to shoot it that way from the start. At my company, the cameraman went home to weld together an L shaped bracket so that he could attach the camera at a 90º angle on the tripod. The alternative is to shoot handheld with the camera tipped on its side.
You then have to edit everything on its side. Take your broadcast monitor and put it on its side. For your computer monitor you will have to just turn your head to the side.
