  • Oracle Access Manager Configuration : Cannot find the Person Object Class

    Hi,
    I am trying to install OAM , I am getting the following error when i am configuring the Identity server for the first time.
    1) I have installed OID. I am using one OID for both config and user data.
    2) I have installed Identity server and have modified the OID schema automically during installation.
    3) I have installed web pass.
    I have gone to the url: http://trn-ps-oid.oracle.com:7777/identity/oblix
    Here i gone to Identity System Console to configure Identity server.
    Following are the config data i have given
    Configuration DN : dc=mydomain,dc=com
    Search Base : dc=mydomain,dc=com
    Host : mypc.mydomain.com
    Port Number : 389
    Root DN : cn=orcladmin
    Root Password : *******
    Directory Server Security Mode : Open
    Is the Configuration data stored in this directory also : Yes
    Person Object Class : inetorgperson
    Auto configure objectclass : yes
    Group Object Class : groupOfUniqueNames
    Auto configure objectclass : yes
    After this I have clicked on the restart server button.
    It comes back to the page asking to enter Person Object class details.
    I Get the Error : Cannot find the Person Object Class.
    I have checked the object class in OID it is there, I have verified the connection details are also correct.
    Any Ideas what might be wrong.
    Earlier during setup i had to modify the OID schema, how do i check if this has been done.
    Any Ideas

  • System: unable to find the specified object.

    I am trying to install tomtom 5 for mobile on my 9300i. Installation is fine but when I try to launch the application it gives the following error.
    system: unable to find the specified object.
    I am not able to find any work around this. Any idea please share.
    thanks in advance

    Hi
    I have managed to get TOMTOM mobile 5 working on my Nokia 9300i.
    I think its just that the TOMTOM software was writen before the 9300i was released so it does not know whether the 9300i is series 60/80 or 90.
    So change the file extension names of the file system/apps/ttmobile/ttmobile.app to ttmobile.appx
    If your doing this in the phones file manager you may not be able to see the system directory so press the menu key when viewing the memory card directories in the memory card in file manager, then change the view seetings under the tool pull down menu.
    Then once changing the S60 file extension name go into the system/apps/ttmobile80/ttmobile.appx to ttmobile.app
    This will mean that this file shortcut will now appear on your desktop for Series 80 and not the series 60 version.
    You will need to do the same for the Contacts program.
    Change system/apps/TTnavcontacts/ttnavcontacts.app to ttnavcontacts.appx
    Change system/apps/TTnav80/ttnav80.appx to ttnav80.app
    Hope this helps this is the first time I have replied to a discussion page so don't expect any rapid response if you ask me a question..

  • Need to find the dependent object details for an object.

    Hi,
    Is there any query to find the dependent object details for any object. Like if mview is built on a table, then i should be able to find the table name with out checking code of the mview. Thanks in-advance for your support. similar way for view and functions or procedures etc...
    Regards
    DBA.

    Hi all,
    Thanks a lot for your inputs. seems i have not given full details in my post. I need to have a SQL Query to find the dependent object details not DDL.
    if i give a metriealized view name, i should get the base table names directly not DDLs...
    if i give index name i should get its corresponding table name(off course i got this already)...
    if i give a function name, i should get all the tables which are being in the function...etc...
    i am looking for a script which will cover all the aspects.....i hope i have given now enough information for this....
    Regards
    DBA.

  • "System: Unable to find the specified object" on N...

    When I go to Control panel->Messaging->Text message" I get the error:- "System: Unable to find the specified object".
    I also can no longer send text messages. Every time I try to send a text message, it asks for the "Centre number" which presumably is the SMS service centre number, but even if I type this in I get an error "Error: Not found".
    I'm sure these 2 issues are related but I'm not sure.
    Please, can someone tell me how to fix this.
    Thanks.

    Hi

I then, also noticed that I do not have access to the internet and the only available option reflected was W*EasyLan

    Hi Sai,
    Go to Report Element Tab-->There you have a Tab Cell Behaviors.
    When you flip between 'With Data' and 'Structure Only' under 'Design' Tab,you can see the some cells will be hide/Un hide behavior,if hiding of cells applied.
    Select that cell and then Under 'Cell Behaviors'-->'Hide' Tab-->and choose Show Option.

  • Finding the directory path in java

    I need to check if a file exists or not before an action is taken. I used File class to get the handle of a file and and then used exist() function to check if it is there. But this function needs to full path to that file. I need to find a directory path at runtime as the application is deployed in different environment and wouldn't know the directory path in each environment. Could somebody help me on this. Thanks,

    fBut this function
    needs to full path to that file. I need to find a
    directory path at runtime as the application is
    deployed in different environment and wouldn't know
    the directory path in each environment. Well, that can only you know where this file is on the different platforms. So maybee you can provide it as a user-input, a parameter to the program or be set in a settings-file which the program reads.
    If you want the full path to the current directory where the java program runs, this works:
    File f=...;
    String absPath=f.getAbsolutePath();
    File absPathFile=new File(absPath);Gil

  • Finding the directory path

    i'm not sure what is the best way to determin th epath (location) of a directory or a file.
    example (IDE enviroment)
    [app]
       |----[config]
       |           |---- log4j.properties
       |           |---- application.properties
       |
       |----[classes]
       |           |---- MyApp.classesexample: deployment
    [app]
       |----[config]
       |           |---- log4j.properties
       |           |---- application.properties
       |
       |----myapp.jar   (excutable jar file)
       |----START.BAT file
       |----STOP.BAT fileSTART.BAT
    java -jar myapp.jar
    public class MyApp{
        public MyApp(){
            String path = MyApp.class.getResource("/").getPath();
            System.out.println(path.replaceAll("%20", " "));
    }in the IDE, i have noo problem with the String path = MyApp.getResource();
    i think this is because the working directory is [classes]
    if i run from the "deployment using a jar file...i would get NULLPointerException
    the getResource would return null
    this is because the working directory is [app]
    Is there a way to get the location of the MyApp class (where the working directory should not matter)?

    i think i see the problem:
    the MyApp is in a jar file...and MyApp is not in a package;
    therefore getResource("/") // look for the directory that MyApp is in
    iwould return null...since it's (technically) not in any directory - no package specified
    am i correct?

  • Cannot find the Person Object Class

    In Identity Server installation the Person object class is not accepting this recommended object "inetOrgPerson", "User" and Organizational Person" .
    What should be the person object class be supplied to make the installation continue? Is there anything that I need to configure in Oracle fusion middleware 11g?
    thanks for the help in advance.

    Hi
    What is the directory server you are using? If you are using AD. It does not have inetOrgPerson object class.
    Person object class is custom object class created for your organization which contains all the custom attributes created according to requirement of your organization.
    Refer following document for more details,

  • 4800 Can't find the named object

    Hi people,
    Does anyone know the cause of this message we're getting during a sync.
    The messages page says The named object cannot be found in the directory. What does named object and directory mean in this context ie does directory refer to the filesystem (and maybe named object is a db file ????) or is it a synonym for data dictionary (and named object is a db object ???)
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Andy

    Please run validatedb to make sure that the database is not corrupted. What is your platform? What sequence of operation lead you to this error?

    http://www.velocityreviews.com/forums/t364574-size-of-boolean-type.html
    The JLS doesn't specify the size of a boolean, leaving it upto the JVM
    implementor to define. Sun's JVM stores booleans as:
    (1) a boolean is-an int; i.e. a signed 32 bit twos-compliment integer.
        At face value, this is an innordinate waste of space, but Java uses a
        32-bit stack frame, and most (modern) CPU's use a 32-bit word anyway,
        so the wasted space is worth the CPU cycles, and it's simple.
    (2) a boolean[] is-a byte array, using 1 byte per element, rounded up to the
        nearest 8, plus 8 bytes for the array-object itself.
        For example: boolean[] bools = boolean[100];
        100 mod 8 = 4; so that'd be 104 bytes + 8 bytes = 112 bytes.
        So, let's dis/prove the contention by experiment.
        1,000,000 mod 8 = 0 so 1,000,000 + 8 bytes for the array = 1,000,008
    class BooleanArraySizeTest
      public static void main(String[] args) {
        final Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();
        System.out.println("The contention is that each iteration should use 1,000,008 bytes.");
        try {
          long before, after;
          final int TIMES = 32;
          boolean[][] bools = new boolean[TIMES][];
          for (int i=0; i<TIMES; i++) {
            before = rt.totalMemory() - rt.freeMemory();
            int n = 1000*1000-(TIMES/2)+i;
            bools[i] = new boolean[n];
            after = rt.totalMemory() - rt.freeMemory();
            System.out.print(n);
            System.out.print('\t');
            System.out.print(after-before);
            System.out.println();
        } catch (Exception e) {
          e.printStackTrace();
