Finding the Network Key

I just moved into a house, and I have been trying to get on the houses wireless network. It asks me for the network key.
My roomate has no clue what to type in. We have looked on his computer, but the only way it will show us what the network key is in password form (ie: just shows dots rather than the network key)
What do I need to do to get the network key????

Since you indicate that you are using an iPad, I assume that you are also using AirPort Utility on the iPad.
On the iPad home screen, tap AirPort Utility
Tap on the AirPort Extreme
Tap on Edit
Tap on Advanced
Tap on Show Passwords
Tap on Main Network and "key" will be revealed

none of my roomates remember the network key to the router. they are all on but my PC. i run xp. is there a place in my computer to find it? if not what is the easiest way out of this mess ( without messing with my roommates current ability to access)?

The easiest way is to ask whomever has access to the router (administrator) and give the key to you. It should be in the router's security settings.

Check whether you are Online with the Computer
plugged into the Router.If yes, Open a new Internet Explorer
Page, and in the address bar, type http://192.168.1.1, press
return, And when asked for Username and Password,
Leave the Username blank and in the Password field,
type admin . This will help you access the Router's
Console. Now, Click the Tab " Wireless " at the top,
Then Click the Sub Tab in the Blue Line ' Wireless Security '
just below the Wireless Tab,
Set the Security Mode to WEP, Default Key as Key 1,
Encryption Mode as ' 64 Bits10 Hex Digits ' ,
Leave the Passphrase blank, Type a 10 digit Key
[ can contain 0-9, A-F ] in WEP Key 1 Field alone,
Copy the Key on a piece of paper for your reference,
Save the Settings. Restart the Wireless Computer.
Search for the Network , While connecting to the New
Network , and when prompted for Security key, Type
the 10 Digit Number/ Confirm it. It should connect.

If you registered your Lightroom with Adobe after you installed it, you can log into your Adobe account and get your serial number from your account.

Need to find the network every time?

So I installed a new AE yesterday, for the sole purpose of establishing a home network for sharing internet access and a printer between an iMac and a Dell laptop. Simply connected the cable modem and printer USB to AE as instructed.
Haven't tested the printing functionality yet but the network is generally working as desired, but each time the iMac sleeps the network connection is lost. The only way to return online is to go through Network Diagnostics and find the network again and submit the required password... a bit more cumbersome than I'd hoped.
Is there a way around this procedure or some setting I've overlooked that would make it more efficient to get online?

If you migrated your account/apps over from an older Mac, you may have brought over some network settings that your newer Mac doesn't like. You may be able to resolve this by going to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and moving all those migrated settings to the Trash (don't empty yet), and rebooting. After you reboot, you'll have to reconfigure your network settings, but the old stuff won't be there to confuse anything.
I had to do this with my new MacBook Air, since it doesn't have a built-in Ethernet port (which my old PowerBook did have). The MBA names the ports differently, and since its default is wireless, the migrated settings kept attempting to connect wirelessly through a port whose name previously was for the PowerBook's wired Ethernet port. This forced me to manually connect to the network each time I started up my MBA, or whenever I awakened it from sleep.
Forcing the clean setup of the network resolved the issue. Once your network is working correctly, you can empty the Trash, otherwise move the newly created stuff out to the Desktop and move the previous settings in the Trash back to the SystemConfiguration folder, then delete the new settings from the Desktop. Follow this with a reboot to return to your initial network configuration.

In iTunes if you right click on the video and select Get Info and go to the Option tap what Media Type is shown?

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

I believe 90% of Toshiba notebooks you can find on the market are delivered with preinstalled operating system. When you start it for the first time you must NOT activate preinstalled OS. At the bottom of the notebook you can find Windows sticker with valid key license.
Maybe you bought notebook without preinstalled OS. In this case you must install own OS and use own license key.
The question is: which notebook model do you have exactly and was your notebook delivered with preinstalled operating system?

Creative cloud do not need a serial number. it will be using your Adobe ID on which you have purchased the creative cloud membership.
So you need to login with your Adobe ID and password to activate the cloud membership.

So, your problem is not, "i have a uk mac, i cannot find the 'at' key on the keyboard", but, "the @ key does not work in Quicken Win, which I run under Parallels". If that is your problem, then first check if it works with other Win applications (eg, NotePad). If it does, then the problem is with Quicken -- check the Quicken docs, support KB, or support forum. If it doesn't (but it does work with Mac apps), check Parallels docs, support KB, or support forum.
