  • Scheduled finish date for process orders not updating in BW

We are having problems with the scheduled finish date (GLTRS) for process orders. When the process order is already released, changes done in R/3 on the scheduled finish date will not result to a delta hence data in BW is not updated. Table AFKO, where data is coming from, is always updated with the changes though. 2LIS_04_P_MATNR is used in extracting the data.
Has anyone experienced the same problem? We are looking for possible ways on how to have a delta whenever there are changes on the process order even after it is already released.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

    Hi Donna,
If I've understood your problem correctly, you can increase the load frequency as Sriee has pointed out.
If you want latest data frequently and if you are on BI 7.0 then you can look at Real Time Data Acquisition(RDA)

  • Editing of scheduled dates in Process Order Operations

    Hello,
I have a requirement, in which the client would like to change the Scheduled dates in the operation details of a process order.
In the header screen of a process order, if we change the basic start / finish dates (depending on forward or backward scheduling), and reschedule the process order, the process order is rescheduled, with the new dates.
The client's requirement is, they should be able to change the Scheduled dates in the tab "Operation - Dates", of the "Operation overview" screen, in a process order. Normally the field is not editable, and the system calculates the dates, based on the start / finish dates, entered in the process order header.
I would like to know, what is the way out, to meet this requirement.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
As every body else is explaining it is not possible for standard SAP ,  as of normal business or any business scenario why would a client want to change the operation dates from Production order ( still not understood.....)
There are two options to do that:
    1) Copy the whole transaction ( programmes ) into some Z - transaction and in the programme you can change the object ( CO_VG_OPR_*) from being grayed out.
This will alllow you to change the dates.
    2) you can go for enhancement with the following FM
        BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN
I suggest you to clear these things with client. These things require more of ABAP work.
And as said changing the standard behaviour of the system can cause performance issues.
Please close the thread if satisfied.

  • Read Master Data for Process order status change (REL to CRTD)

I am unable to read master data and thus change the status of process order from REL to CRTD. (COR2)
The reason it says, error in BOM reading, Transport Requirement (TR) already generated.
Even after deleting the TR (LB02), the issue still exists.
Is there another way of changing the status or some more steps are needed for the TR deletion?
    Thnx!
    Abhi.

    Order header Status-
    REL  Released
    MSPT Material shortage
    PRT  Printed
    PRC  Pre-costed
    BASC Batch assignment complete
BCRQ Order to be handled in batches
    SETC Settlement rule create.
In the error log it gives-
    Diagnosis
Transfer requirements have already been generated, so therefore the bill of material cannot be read.
    System Response
The system does not execute the action.
Then I deleted the TR (LB02), but still I cannot reread the master data.
The MSPT was for only 2 materials out of 6 and there is no GMPS status.
There is prod supply area and control cycle used.
and the TR generated at order release.

  • How to get the finished date of production order

    hi guys
now i want to get the finished date of production date.  when i search in the table afko , i found the field GLTRI is '0000.00.00'.
BUT IN the production order display view , the confirm date is '2007.1.1'. so how can i get the confirm date with the production order number? thanks.

For costing report, you have to read the following tables: based on material Qty/value/ Machine rate and machine posting date , machine rate ( T-code kp26)  and also types of material Raw, finished and semi finished ..
    AFRU ,AFPO,AFKO,AFVV,AFVC,CAUFV FOR PRODUCTION ORDER.

    Hi Gurus,
I want to change the Basic Finish date in the service order. The

    Hi Thyagarajan,
Thanks, I have already checked the same. For the order type and palanning plant, the date adjustments set as " Adjust basic date.......", but still it is not allowing me to change the basic date.

  • Basic start & Basic finish date in PM Order

    Hi,
This is related to Preventive Maint. Order Basic start date & Basic finish date.
    I have configured 2 priorities.
Priority 1 with Relative Start 1 & Rel. end 10 Days
Priority 2 with Relative Start 1 & Rel. end 30 Days
PM Plan is created with strategy
    Weekly & Bi-weekly
Priority 1 is set in PM plan
    Scheduling Period 60 days
    Call horizon 100%
Scheduling has beed done with start date as 02.09.2014.
    Plan dates are as below.
    09.09.2014
    16.09.2014
    23.09.2014
    etc
PM Orders have been called through IP30.
When I checked the Maint. Orders, I found that the Basic start date & Basic finish dates are same as below in all the Orders generated through IP30.
Basic start date: 09.09.2014 & Basic Finish date: 09.09.2014.
Actually it should calculate Basic Finish date as Basic start date + 10 days (as per my priority).
Can I know reason why system does not consider the priority duration in this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    CSR

    Greetings Raman,
To shift the basic dates for the Orders generated by a Strategy Maintenance Plan, you may use the Float (Initial and Subsequent) values defined on the Strategy level in the Maintenance Strategy itself (IP11)
Normally, the Date Shifts maintained in the Priority do not come into play when you are scheduling Maintenance Plans.
So the rundown is that you can shift the basic dates in Preventive Work Orders, differentiating on the Maintenance Package, rather than Priority.
If you require the Basic Dates to be adjusted for generated Orders, you can develop a solution using EXIT_SAPLCOIH_012
    See some more useful info:

  • Commited Date - in process order

    Gurus,
I am creating a process order using a BDC recording. While releasing the process order, Material shortage popup is coming and my BDC is failing in production environment.
My issue is eventhough i have enough stock of my component SAP throws me this material shortage popup. On anlysis we found out commited date is calcualted as 31.12.9999 and there is no confirmed quantity in missing parts list.
I had maintained Avaliablity check and checking groups in material master and factory calendar is also valid.
Please help out with this issue and solution to this is highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Aravind

    Hi Aravind,
Please check on the following things.
    1)  Lead times and processing times in Bom & material master whether maintained in R/3
    2)  Horizons in PP/DS tab in APO material master
    3)  Any false reservations for components based on other planned/process orders
    4)  All the stocks of components should not be in blocked storage location

  • Basic start and finish dates vs scheduled start and finish dates in work order

    Hi Friends,
I have observed  that whenever releasing the work order, irresepective of number of operations in the work order, system generating scheduling start and finish dates are same, however after releasing the Work order and by adding another operation in the work order, immediately scheduling end date equaling to Basic finish date (i.e.: Basic start and finish dates are equal to Schedule start and finish dates).
Can any body please explain why this is heppening
    Please find the screen shots.
After adding one more operation in the operation list and save the Work order, then Basic start and finish dates are equal to schedule start and finish dates.
    Regards,
    Srinika

    Srinika
There are many things that affect the order scheduling:
    IMG setting - scheduling parameters
    Work centre settings
Operation values e.g. work, duration, operation control key settings
    Calendars
    Etc
So one possible interpretation of the above data is that the initial order operations have no work assigned, or the operation control keys don't require scheduling, or the work centres arn't set up correctly.
Then you add a new operation which does appear to work.
Please supply a screen-shot of the operation tab.

  • Actual Finish date in production order

    Hi All
Iam using AFKO-GLTRI  ( ACTUAL FINISH DATE) field in some Z-report.
Iam having only one operation in production order which does not have AUTOGR key.
Iam using serial number and doing GR through migo.
Date in AFKO-GLTRI  field does not get populated when i do partial or final confirmation with full yeild. -- WHICH Standard SAP and right
After final confirmation when i do goods receipt then i can able to see Actual finish  date in CO03  screen but it is not available in AFKO-GLTRI.
If i do partial confirmation With or without any hours after  GR then   Date gets populated in AFKO-GLTRI.
Please can you guide why date is not appearing in AFKO-GLTRI when I do GR --  iam missing any config ?

you probably can use the AFRU-IEDD (Confirmed date for execution finish).
the logic could be - look at all confirmations(or just one) and get the last one.

    Hi  DwarakanathS
    Thanks for you reply....
But if in the exit i try with the code you suggest, when i do the assign:
    FIELD-SYMBOLS <my_fs> TYPE SFC_POCO.
    ASSIGN SAPLCOUP(SFC_POCO) TO <my_fs>.
the program give me an error "Field "SAPLCOUP" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified"...
and if i try with this:
    FIELD-SYMBOLS <my_fs> TYPE SFC_POCO.
    ASSIGN 'SAPLCOUP(SFC_POCO)' TO <my_fs>.
the error is "SAPLCOUP(SFC_POCO)'" and "<MY_FS>" are type-incompatible."

  • Read Master Data on Process Order

    Hi there,
We have a process order in status CRTD PRC  APNG APRS BCRQ MANC SETC.  But when user try to initiate a Read Master Data for Prod Version / Master Recipe / BOM, system is giving this error log:
No approval: production version 0001 has not been approved
    Unreleased engineering change orders:
Engineering change order 500000000001 has not been released
I have checked on the Change Number for both the Master Recipe and Bill of Material and everything seems to be correct.  Why does SAP prompting "No approval: production version 0001 has not been approved" and why is SAP trying to read Engineering Change Order 500000000001?  This is an old one possibly the first Engineering Change Order generated...
    Cheers
Edited by: patvin on Oct 18, 2010 11:44 AM

    Dear,
As per GMP Steps are as,
The procedure in the environment requiring an approval is the following:
    -> Create
    1. Create new production version, without specifying recipes and bill of material.
    2. Assign a change number which is valid for the recipe and the bill of material to be entered to the production version.
    3. Enter recipe and bill of material in the production version or if external number assignment of the recipe is required, make no entry in the recipe group.
    4. Navigate to the recipe, for example, by double-clicking on the Recipe field.
    5. Maintain the recipe and the material list (bill of material) within the recipe as usual.
    6. Save the recipe and, therefore, also the bill of material. (Return to the production version transaction. )
    7. Save the production version.
    -> Change
    1. Assign a change number which is valid for the recipe and the bill of material entered or to be entered to the existing production version.
    2. Navigate to the recipe and further processing as described under -> Create.
After the release of the change request, all three objects production version, recipe and bill of material are approved providing a change rule which prescribes an approval procedure was defined in the recipe header.
You need a suitable change request for defining the change rule. Providing you use the integrated maintenance via the production version as recommended, proceed as described above and assign the suitable change request to the production version.
If you want to ensure furthermore that no recipes are created without change request, use a profile set correspondingly in Customizing for the creation of recipes.
Hope clear to you. For details refer the Note  154360 - Maintain prod.vrsns+recpes i.env.requirng an apprvl

  • Process Order status CRCR needs to  re read master data

    All,
I have an issue with re-reading the master data in process order.
I have an order which was  released and control recipe was also released since we use pi sheet to record shop floor data.
After releasing the control recipe user  made changes into bom and he wanted to re-read master data , on the master data tab re-read master data button is not activated not  if i go menu path from the header process order-> functions-> re-read master data is active.
Neither i am allowed to set the deletion flag for the order, i am getting error message process order status CRCR does not alow to set the delection flag.
Any solution to this issue is appriciated
Either i should be able to re-read the master data or set the deletion flag...

In your case Control Recipe is already created, so you need to send a process message to set the status of the control recipe to finished. "CRFI". Follow the steps below,
Transaction CO57, to trigger manually a process message with message Category PI_CRST for the process order and Control reciepe combination.
Then use Transaction CO54 to send the Message to the process order.
You can complete the PI Sheet by clicking the "complete" button in the PI Sheet also.
Now try to re read master data

  • Restricting Process Order Goods Movements within order basic dates

    Hi Experts,
How can we restrict the goods movements against a process order only within the basic start and basic finish dates of the order? We create one order per month, but users can post goods movements to the current order in the previous period (MIGO GI / GR), as movements in the prior period is allowed as well. Appreciate your inputs.
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi,
Thanks. Yes, we do 'TECO' the past orders and we also have user status that prevents any goods movements on such 'TECO'ed orders. But, my question is how to prevent movements on Current Order, posted with date in previous period.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Need Suggestion to Stage Process Order related data

    Hi All,
Could anybody help me by providing the solution or suggestion for the problem which I am describing here. The problem is like to stage the process order related data (which are downloaded from SAP ECC for sending to machine data base or confirmed by machine data base which will be sent to SAP ECC) can we use NetWeaver Data Base by creating separate tables or by creating separate schema in NetWeaver DB or we will go for separate DB to stage all transactional data of Process Order.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Chandan

    Hello Chandan,
    1) Yes you can use underlying Netweaver DB either by creating new tables or by creating new schema but as per MII best practices it is Not Recommended because by mistake you might end up affecting the NW and MII configurations
    2) There is no hard and fast rule saying you must stage Data but it is very good if you do it because,
                           a) Your data will be buffered when SAP is down
                           b) Faster processing
                           c) Ability to perform more analysis on data through many drill downs to sub-levels
    3) I would recommend going for a separate DB to stage all your SAP Data (both for sending or receiving data from ECC)
    Hope this helps!!
    Regards,
    Adarsh
