Hi,

But now when i make a set up and try to logon with the SAP GUI , It gives an error saying the host couldnt be find and in the meanwhile on ABAP ENGINE STARTUP SCREEN it starts the server and then immediately shuts down showing : Work process xx died..and ICM shut down successful.
Plzz help me as to if any settings are causing this or wat should i do to splve this.
Thanks,
Shilpi

Hi,
Did you configure loopback adapter and assigned a ip address to it? If it is done, then try to increase virtual memory.

• About load.mlet... Pb with starting the server.. help plz

Hi all...
I have a shell that start a server for my job. When i start my server with shell
command, i have some errors in the log and my server don't start.
This is very important cause it's for my job.
<Critical> <WebLogicServer> <000364> <Server failed during initialization. Exception:weblogic.management.configuration.Configur
ationException: - with nested exception:
[java.io.FileNotFoundException: ./WLSMRMCLAVT1/load.mlet (No such file or directory)]
I just want to know why i have this. The file can't be found but what's the problem.
Path config ?
I have search but i'm not very good in weblogic config and debugging.
Thx for ur help... Any infos are welcome...
Florian

Do you have write permissions on your file system? I mean, wls writes
out this file while booting the server, I am afriad the user starting
the server dont have proper file permissions.
Try starting the server with
-Dweblogic.Debug=weblogic.initCommo, this will spew some debug output
that might help resolve the issue.
thanks,
-satya

• Step2 N4S TestDrive: Error in Starting the server

I am installing N4S (NW 2004s testdrive) on SUSE Linux 64bit running in AMD 64 platform.
1) I got the license key but it was a N4S.txt (text file) instead of rpm file.
2) try to start db by su loging as n4sadm and get a message "Database Start failed..."
3) I did not have .rpm so did not install license.

I have reinstalled the system and installationi finished without errors.
(I mounted the *.iso file instead of writing to DVD)
I started NW04s with command (after su to n4sadm user) "startsap n4shost".
The database and SAP instance starts succesfully. I tried to run the Javagui
to install the license but run into the same problem even after installing
32 bit jre as indicated in Step 3 post separately.
I shutdown down linux (after proper "stopsap n4shost") and after some time reboot
the system and try to start NW04s but this time DB could not be started. I need
help in solving this issue. I have pasted below screen output both when the system
started successfully right after installation and when it failed when I tried to

Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately for you, posting only about things not working isn't going to net you assistance or answers - at most you can get sympathy but there isn't too much of that to share with everyone. You should find a forum for the particular product that is not working. If you have a problem with Glassfish, then try the Glassfish forum.

If WCS is indeed installed on http://localhost:7101 and it can't see http://127.0.0.1:7101 then you should check to see if there is any restriction on the app server, OS, or firewall (though these requests probably aren't leaving the box) that could be preventing requests of this sort. You're seeing the event engine trying to talk to the event host.

• After installation trying to start the portal but get credential error

Hi
I download the SAP Portal 7 and installed it as typical installation on Win XP. During the install it was asked from the wizard to put the master password. I did it and the installation was successfully finisched. Trying to start the server from the administration console i was asked to authenticate and put the username and password. After typing of the credential data i get in a message box: "invalied credential, start faild: 2" and the start of the server fail. I retyped and even reinstall the Portal 2 times to be sure that i do not make a mistake by typing the master password but each time i get the same error!!!!!
I installed it later again as custom installation and step by step put all neccessary passwords and the result was the same
Please help to resolve this problem and get the portal a start

• OS Error in starting the OCFS Service on windows server 2008

Hi,
Installing the Oracle 11g R1 CRS on windows server 2008 operating system . It is displaying the folllowing error message
ERROR : OS in Error in starting the OCFS Service
Can any one please tell what could be the issue ..
Thank You

Solved this after some trawling through xml configuration files on the server.
The file C:\Oracle\product\11.1.0\db_1\owb\j2ee\config\http-web-site.xml contains the reference to keystore.jks:
<ssl-config keystore="*%ORACLE_HOME%*/owb/j2ee/config/keystore.jks" keystore-password="->keystoreadmin"/>
changing this to:
<ssl-config keystore="C:\Oracle\product\11.1.0\db_1/owb/j2ee/config/keystore.jks" keystore-password="->keystoreadmin"/>
and the OC4J container starts successfully.

Hi John,
Yes,It was working earlier.
When I have added NTLM authentication for FDM I am getting that error, but instead of that if
I am adding the authentication provider as LDAP(CSS) I am not getting that error.
So finally i have added only one authentication provider and that is LDAP(CSS).
I fallowed ur document for integrating the FDM application with planning application.(http://john-goodwin.blogspot.com/2008/07/planning-v11-drill-back.html )
For the global logon information I have given admin and password , which I have given while adding the LDAP authentication (CSS).
I am getting machine profile missing error when i clicked on the dimension and the target dimension test box contain connection failed.
Can u suggest me where am I wrong?
Thanks
