Finished synching w/Itunes, but Iphone interface is still locked on "Connect to Itunes"
Hello,
I have Iphone 4.2 and I successfuly upated/synched my Itunes on my Mac OSX Version 10.6.8.
But my phone itnterface still has the 'Connect to Itune" graphic.
How do i return my phone to normal interface?
I went to Apple store and followed the customer rep's advice:
- Log on to Itunes on Mac
- Preferences > Devices > Selected the DL's Iphone > OK
- Connected Iphone to my Mac
- He said my phone interface will then return to normal but it hasnt.
Please help!

IPod says "disabled connect to itunes"... wrong pass code from my 10 year old. I put to recovery mode and 10 minutes into restore it tells me to put the pass word in but the iPod is still locked... help I can't put the pass code in and I can't recover.... He feel awful!

Apparently my iPhone 4S is still locked...
Apparently my iPhone 4S is still locked (was told it was unlocked)... But my Net10 (Tracfone) SIM card works and I have full MMS. How is this possible? Will I still need to unlock it?

I have turned off wi-fi, turned it on airplane mode, turned off ALL location services and notification centre (And maybe a few other things). Got my ipad mini. It works perfectly fine until I updated to ios 6.0.2. Now I can't connect to wifi. I've tried every solutions offered in every forums and internet sites but nothing happened. Still ipad cannot connect to wifi. HELP!!!
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

my iphone 4 was still locked and i updated the software, after the softwar
no, the backlight works. it's the display that doesn't. it had the problem even before i took it somewhere. also, it says the IMEI is invalid, because the phone isn't on it's network anymore. i was going to unlock it, but since the screen isn't working, i can't do that.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Itunes recognises iphone but iphone says it still needs to be connected and therefore can't sync
Got a new iphone 4S which I want to sync using my previous iphones last backup. My itunes recognises the phone and calls it my iphone2 but the iphone is still saying connect to itunes. I am unable to sync. I have tried restoring the new iphone, using 3 different backups but nothing is working. I have tried rebooting the computer and the iphone
Thanks Jason. Tried unauthorising computers then logged out of itunes turned iphone off but nothing is still working. The computer sees the phone it is the phone that is not seeing the computer

Cannot move past message that says iPad has not been backed up in 2 weeks by clicking ok. Trying to verify wi-fi connection
I am having the same issue with my iPhone since 12/1/12.
I have meanwhile changed routers to Apple Extreme plus been out of town and experienced various internet connections. Still get same message that my iphone has not been backed up since 12/1.
I have removed most of apps to sync as well. Zero results!
I have done manual back up in iTunes, and when I 'restore backup', the box shows the correct time for manual restore I just did. But the message still keeps popping up on my iphone that the phone has not been backed up. I get that same date - 12/1- displayed in ITunes as well.
I just did "Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then releasing" as you suggested and unfortunately, it still is showing 12/1- even though when I click 'Restore Backup" it shows the recent update.

So A few things occurred, I returned my Iphone 5 because of a defect in the sleep button last week, and then just got it back Monday. I went and got a new Sim Card activated at the AT&T store since the other was deactivated by rep on phone.(long story) Went home upgraded the phone to ios 8 and have my phone constantly searching for service or saying no service. I have done all trouble shooting on apple support and even had another sim card replace. Yesterday I updated to ios 8.2 and guess what it didn't do any good. AT&T stated last week my tower was having probs but the issue was fixed but lte had degrated and was still being worked on, I have not stayed in my city so I don't think that is the issue, I have no idea what to do now. Any suggestions?
My partner had this issue on the iPhone 6 a few days after moving from Windows phone. The move was seamless then no service at all. He called the service provider, they reactivated his phone/sim/whatever and it worked. Then, he had terrible signal issues, 1 bar in the house, the final problem was resolved by purchasing the 4G LTE Microcell. Now, even I have the best service I've ever had since 3G (I know, not saying much though FULL BARS NOW!)
Call AT&T from LAN Line with iPhone in hand.
Go to AT&T store and get the 4G LET Microcell (it's an LTE booster and easy to install.)
