Fiori Client - availability of unsigned IPA file

Is it possible to obtain the unsigned IPA file for the Fiori Client iOS app so that we can for example wrap it with Mocana?
Currently the Fiori Client seems to be only available via App Stores, not via download from SAP Service Marketplace?
Thank in advance.
Pavel

Hi Oliver,

  • Fiori Client - How to view the Log file

    Hi,
    on my Android phone the fiori client version 1.1.3 behaves awkward.
    When I want to start an app from the lauchpad the whole client app crashes. The android app just terminates.
    How can I access the logfile?
    The Fiori Client user Guide says I can access the logfile using an IDE like Eclipse or Android.
    Do I really need an IDE to just have a look into the logs?
    TIA,
    Thomas

  • How to build unsigned ipa

    I have a client that insists I provide them an unsigned .ipa or .app file. I understand that an .app file is an unzipped ipa. They want to do the signing, and have done it like this before with other developers. How is this possible using Air? I have looked into methods of trying to unsign a signed.ipa but I'm not really having any luck. Anybody know? I can't be the only one. Thanks.

    You can resign an ipa with this: maciekish/iReSign · GitHub

  • HR Renewal: Client infotype with upload/download file functionality

    Hi Gurus,
    I am writing to you today cuz a client of mine asked me to adapt one of their client-specific infotype for HR Renewal. Now the old-legacy infotype was developed by someone else so I am just to adapt the functionality for decoupled infotype framework and front-end.
    The infotype has no subtype and record from 01.01.1800 to 31.12.9999 with a table-control listing all the pdf (or other format) file for a particular employee (such has income tax statement; SEPA bank account sheet; ID card etc... any kind of personal document relevant to employees). (that data is listed from a client Z table when opening the infotype; e.g. there is not sub-strucutrue in the pnnnn to  represent that information).
    upload, download and open file functionality is done via the infotype old-framework screen 2000 by some custom code merely replicated what is available by cl_gui_services.
    File are stored directly on the SAP system not using the GOS option;
    back-end stuff is more or less done and working at least I can do pretty much what I want in puit_ui tcode; read;modify... off course no file upload there
    front-end is another story; I have managed the FPM views for the infotype (dataset; biz card, etc) and also I have managed to list the existing file in the ATS list.
    However What I need still to do is to be able to upload from NWBC files to the back end system; and also download or open them. this seems to be a little harder than expected.
    I am now doubting if I should rather do a P&F FPM form based or if I can achieve what it is suppose to do? or maybe I should go back to the client and talk him through changing that infotype architecture? using subtype instead of a connection to a Z table and GOS services to store employee files seems way easier for me; but still I am facing the upload/download functional which I dont really no how to wrap around the FPM either it is ATS or GL2. I have checked indian-specific infotype 3743 has this uploading functionality (GOS) but no corresponding FPM I could inspire myself on!
    Also, not sure if I am missing something but when I try to change the value of one the field on the infotype pnnnn structure (that infty actually has one checkbox field) and save I end up with a dump because to BOL model does not find my entity (lo_entity). it s not the first infotype I am enabling for HR Renewal and I never had this error before.. I wonder what I am missing....
    Would you gurus oriente me a lil on how I should best proceed? should I rather use P&F? Your help and advise would greatly be appreciated!
    Thanks.

    Hello:
    So after some thinking through:
    - upload and download are handler by the FPM ATS feeder (client copy with enhanced options into to manage event method).
    - lo_entity without pointer causing dump occurred because I had inconsistently used the set automatic tag option into the FPM configuration floorplan editor.
    - PAOC_ASR_PERSONAL_FILE would be my recommendation but client want to follow on its own mini-dev for personal file hosting.
    Thank you gurus!

    JInit and IE8? I am not 100% sure, but I am almost certain that this combination didn't work at all. And please don't tell us you used that stupid hack where you replace the jvm.dll of JInit with one of a current JPI installation.
    The Oracle Versions you have in place are rather ancient as well, you really should think about upgrading your database and your forms installation. As you already are on webforms moving to the current version of forms shouldn't require much changes in your forms.

  • SQL*Net message from client - huge wait in trace file

    Dear All,
    I am facing a performance issue in a particular operation ( which was completed in 21 Minutes earlier). Now the same operation takes more than 35 Minutes. I took a trace for those session ( 10046 level 12 trace ) and found Lot of waits in SQL*Net message from client.
    Elapsed times include waiting on following events:
    Event waited on Times Max. Wait Total Waited
    ---------------------------------------- Waited ---------- ------------
    SQLNet message from client 611927 10.00 1121.35*
    I copied only the highest wait in the tkprof output.
    And I found from the tkprof and even in raw trace file this event waits more time after excuting
    SELECT sysdate AS SERVERDATE from dual;
    Elapsed times include waiting on following events:
    Event waited on Times Max. Wait Total Waited

    Regards,
    VinodhGood idea to check the raw trace file. It is important to notice that this particular wait event appears after the fetch of the result from the database. The client receives the SYSDATE from the database server, and then the client performs some sort of action for about 10 seconds before submitting its next request to the database. The SQL statement that immediately follows and immediately preceeds this section of the trace file might provide clues regarding what caused the delay, and where that delay resides in the client side code. Maybe a creative developer added a "sleep for 10 seconds" routine when intending to sleep for 10ms? Maybe the client CPU is close to 100% utilization?

  • Kapsel Fiori Client (FC): self-built iOS FC shows very slow UI performance

    Hi Experts,
    I have used KapselSDK to build our own FC using:
    SMP3.0 KapselSDK SP07_PL00
    Cordova 3.6.3
    Xcode 6.2
    OS X 10.10.2 Yosemite
    Enterprise distribution certificate for deplyment
    .ipa for iPhone4S, 5 (tested)
    ipd also inside Airwatch (tested)
    App config:
      SMP proxy is not used.
    The issue:
    We use FC to launch the Fiori Launchpad where there are some Fiori apps. The problem is that after type usr pwd, it took very long time to see the Launchpad UI. Tried the standard FC from Apple Store, and it worked very fast.
    Does anyone have any idea? I see some info about the slow UI performance for Android devices which can be solved using crosswalk, but my understanding is that crosswalk is not for iOS.
    Thanks.
    Dong

    Have you tired testing the same URL through Mobile Safari to see if it is slow also?
    We have had reports of slowness on iOS and we are researching.  The details are iOS uses HTTP pipelining when the connection is slow. This means iOS bundles several requests (2-3 to our observations) together but the ICM does only response to one of them and ignores the others. After a timeout of about 1 minute (transparent to the FLP) the Safari automatically repeats the ignored requests. It may happen that this happens a second time, but not a third time – then the requests are not repeated anymore.  Seems to happen in Mobile Safari Browser more often than Fiori Client and doesn't happen in Mobile Chrome on same device.
    Thanks,

  • Install .ipa-files

    Hi,
    I'm pretty new on iPad2, so I have a question about installing applications.
    How do you do this? I have this .ipa-file from my company. It's a beta application, and it's not available in AppStore..yet.
    I have iOS5 and iTunes 10.5.0 (Windows). I've googled/tubed this but can't figure out how to install this .ipa-file.
    I've tried:
    Drag and drop the file over the left side panel in iTunes. The app is then in the list, but there are no sync button to get the app to my Pad? In youtube I can see that they press a sync button to get the app installed on the Pad, but this seems gone? Have Apple removed this feature? all apps needs to go through Appstore? Only solution to get this app will be to jailbreak it (as I dont want to do that..)?
    I've also tried to install the .ipa-file through Dropbox/mail attachment...which doesn't work. iPad cannot open .ipa-files...
    Could anyone please help?
    Thanks,
    Arne

    Who do I have to give an apple to get the answer on this one?

    I have created a new Provisioning profile and updated the Viewer Builder on version 2.0.1.
    Do you have an idea how it will work?
    Thanks in advance.

    What I forgot to mention: an update of Mac OS X (10.7.4) before it worked two weeks ago with the same signature and provisioning profiles already.

  • Unable to generate WebService Client with Exported (BAPI) WSDL file from XI

    Hi there,
    I, trying to setup a simple Web Service environment where I'll be exposing a BAPI as Web Service via XI.
    So these are the steps I followed:
    <b>1)</b> first I imported the BAPI meta data into my SWC in the repository. <b>2)</b> Second I defined my interrface etc.. <b>3)</b> Third I exported the generated BAPI WSDL file. <b>4)</b> Fourth, I tried to generate a Java proxy/client for my Web Service using a Java IDE (IBM WebSphere Application Developer and XML Spy).
    Now the problem is that Im not able to generate the Web Service client using the exported WSDL file, the WSDL seems not to be valid...From the generated errors in the IDE, I can see that the problem has to do somewhere/somehow with the WSDL Binding element, which input parameters do not match the input parameters of the port type.
    This is a small part of the WSDL file as generated by XI:
         <wsdl:message name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Input">
              <wsdl:part name="parameters" element="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"/>
         </wsdl:message>
         <wsdl:message name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Output">
              <wsdl:part name="parameters" element="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Response" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/"/>
         </wsdl:message>
         <wsdl:portType name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.PortType">
              <wsdl:operation name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS">
                   <wsdl:input message="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Input"/>
                   <wsdl:output message="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.Output"/>
              </wsdl:operation>
         </wsdl:portType>
         <wsdl:binding name="BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.SAPBinding" type="s0:BAPI_AR_ACC_GETOPENITEMS.PortType" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/">
              <s0:binding style="rfc"/>
    Has anyone faced a situation like this before? Any clues where to look? I appreciate any feedback, thanks!
    Rob.

    Hi Rob!
    I'm facing the same problem - how did you solve your issue then? I'm getting following error during generation on .NET side:
    ============================================================================================
    Error: There was an error processing 'http://server/wsdl/MIAMI_ACCDOCPost.wsdl'.
      - The document at the url http://server/wsdl/MIAMI_ACCDOCPost.wsdl
    was not recognized as a known document type.
    The error message from each known type may help you fix the problem:
    - Report from 'DISCO Document' is 'Discovery document at the URL http://server/wsdl/MIAMI_ACCDOCPost.wsdl could not be found.'.
      - The document format is not recognized (the content type is 'content/unknown').
    - Report from 'WSDL Document' is 'There is an error in XML document (2, 70138).'.
      - Value cannot be null.
    Parameter name: name
    - Report from 'XML Schema' is 'The root element of a W3C XML Schema should be <schema> and its namespace should be 'http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema'.'.

    Hi,
    We can do as follows:
    1. Mark sure the page URL is correct.
    2. Check whether current user has permission to access  the page.
    3. Use SPServices to get web part properties.

  • How to open Photomerge Panorama in PSE 12. The option is not available when I choose File/New.

    In PSE 12 (iOS) I can't find "Photomerge Panorama". The tutorial says it should be available in the menu File/New. Yet it isn't.

    It's now under the Enhance menu in the Expert mode in the pse 12 editor.
    Edit>Photomerge in the pse 12 organizer.
