Fiori My inbox attachment failed

Hi,
In Fiori My inbox application, when try to attach a new file in details page, attachment tab, i got error "No virus scan profile is selected as the "default profile"". When follow the link Defining Virus Scan Profiles - Virus Scan Interface - SAP Library, I am not sure what to put in the field of "Default Profile" and "Reference Profile", as well as how to set up the steps.
We tried to put /SCET/GUI_UPLOAD as reference profile, I got another error "Virus scan profile /SCET/GUI_UPLOAD is not active".

Under section 11: Using transaction VSCANPROFILE you can unset the ACTIVE flag to deactivate the scan. If you deactivate all profiles you have in VSCANPROFILE by unsetting the ACTIVE flag, you'll be also deactivating the virus scan.

Sending mail with attachment fails on MAC Mail and WRP400.
We have hundreds of WRP400 connected with Mac (Machintosh) computers. No special configurations are applied (no virtual server or DMZ). Web navigation, P2P programs and sending mail without attachment work right.
The problem is the impossibility to send mails with medium or big size files attachment from MAC Mail.
If we use Windows PCs or a different linksys routers (eg. WRT54G) the problem not happens.
We have upgraded WRP400 firmware version from 1.00.06 to 2.00.05 but the result is the same. Sending mail with attachment using Mac fails.
We tried to configure WRP400 with DMZ to a particular MAC. We tried to configure Virtual server on tcp 25 port of a MAC. The result is always the same.
This is a WRP400 bug? Windows PCs work right. MAC and MAC mail works right with other linksys router.
We need help. Thanks.

The problem was fixed since beta firmware 2.00.11.
I think that this issue was caused from a bug that decrease upload bitrate of WRP400 after some days of activity.

What do I do since, I am unable to attach files to my emails and I get messages saying that the attachment failed?

When I try to attach a file to emails, the attachment fails and I receive an error message saying that it has failed. Sometimes it asks me to check whether there are firewalls or proxy. How do check for these? How do I disable these? Do I have to do so every time I attach a file to a mail? My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium and browser is Firefox. Email is Gmail. The files I try to attach are less than 5 MB.

So sorry to all. I did some research in this community and found out I was not the only one with that problem. I removed microsoft Silverlight as suggested and followed instructions on how to do it and that did the trick. All is well now.

Flash install fails hdutil: attach failed no mountable file systems

I've tried all suggested trouble tips to install the latest Flash 11. Dowload completes but install fails with:
hdutil: attach failed - no mountable file systems.
I have unistalled all prior flash files. Flash works OK in Chrome (it is built in and does not require a plug-in) but can't install using either Safari or Firefox. Same result in each case.

"ORA-12541: TNS:no listener"
Your listener is not started...
Check that your db is up and runnning and then start the listener using command lsnrctl -start at the command prompt, if you're usins unix, linux or AIX then start the listener with the same command but logon as ora<sid>.

Why did my email attachment fail in Google?

When trying to attach a file to my email at my Google address it failed stating " unable to attach file likely because of a firewall". I have attached the same files using IE, Safari AND Opera.

Firefox orders its bookmarks by last bookmarked afaik. If you are interested in the technical functions/code you can search the lxr code [http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/search] for importing bookmarks.
Right clicking and selecting sorting a-z would put them in alphabetical order.

Attach failed

I made pci device driver. But I have an attach problem.
My status is as follows.
Using cc and ld, I get driver binary 'mydrv'.
My pci device is pciVVVV,DDDD
prtconf command shows my device
pci, instance #0
pciVVVV,DDDD (driver not attached)
I copied 'mydrv' to /kernel/drv and /usr/kernel/drv.
(I don't know where to copy, so I copied to both locations)
I execute add_drv command as follows.
add_drv -v -i'"pciVVVV,DDDD"' mydrv
exit status = 0
devfsadm: driver failed to attach: mydrv
exit status = 11
Warning: Driver (mydrv) successfully added to system but failed to attach
Driver (mydrv) installed.
I tried to drvconfig command, it made same result.

How can I do in this situation.

Be sure your driver matches your kernel: 32-bit driver for 32-bit kernel or 64-bit driver for 64-bit kernel. You can find out what kind of kernel you have by running "isainfo -kv".
If it is 64-bit, it should go in /kernel/drv/sparcv9 (if it is needed at boot time) or in /usr/kernel/drv/sparcv9 (if it is never needed until after /usr is mounted). If you should need a .conf file, that still goes in .../drv/.

HP 4250 w/ Stapler/Stacker attachment fails to printer properly on Snow Leo

We have an old HP 4250tn printer. We recently attached a newly purchased HP stapler/stacker to it. Under Windows XP, we can print to the printer's stapler/stacker without issues. Specifically, we can print multiple copies of the same document, each individually stapled.
On Snow Leopard (10.6.2), I can print a single copy of a document to the stapler/stacker and it prints and staples properly. However, if I instead attempt to print multiple copies of the same document, it attempts to staple all the copies together with a single staple. This clearly seems like a printer driver issue (since the XP box can manage this task).
HP refused to provide customer support because the NEW stacker/stapler was attached to an out of warranty HP printer. As such, we had to work out the problem this far on our own.
1) We did flash the firmware on the printer to the latest version.
2) We did power cycle the printer after the firmware upgrade and confirmed via the configuration page that the new firmware "took".
3) We went to HP's site and confirmed that the latest printer drivers for Snow Leopard are the printer drivers installed with Snow Leopard.
4) We confirmed we can't seemingly print from Snow Leopard properly.
5) We have confirmed that using the latest drivers on Leopard also results in multiple copies getting stapled together.
Any chance of a workaround or of someone at Apple giving a hoot about fixing this esoteric printer driver issue?

Well, we figured out this is a bug in CUPS. In a nutshell, when you request multiple (let's say "N") copies of a document be printed to an HP LaserJet 4250, the CUPS driver, instead of sending one copy of the postscript to the printer with instructions to print N copies of the document embedded in the postscript instead makes N copies of the document, concatenates them into one postscript file, and then sends it to the printer. The printer receives a single large postscript file which is why it only staples it once.
My solution for now is rather hacky. I wrote a perl script that will take any PDF file sent to it and will print it N times, so that each copy is individually sent to the print. I then created an automator workflow as a wrapper so I can print multiple stapled copies via the PDF services menu in the print dialog box or by dropping a PDF file onto an Automator "Droplet" app I created. This works, but in a multi-user environment like my office, it is possible for other people's print jobs to slip in between the N copies, since they are all being sent individually. Also, you lose the ability for the printer to tell you how many copies remain to be printed.
If anyone at Apple reads these boards, PLEASE fix this so that the CUPS drivers for the HP behave properly and send the postscript file only once with instructions to print N times. BTW, it was possible to send N copies from the command line (using the "lp" command) in Leopard with CUPS 1.3.X and have it print properly (it appeared to send one copy of the postscript with instructions to the printer to print N copies), but Snow Leopard with CUPS 1.4 broke that (now, CUPS assembles N copies together into one postscript file and fires it to the printer).

Hdiutil: attach failed - No such file or directory, in Maven Projects using applescript??

am trying to mount the application which is present in some module named x, am using Maven projects here, so for my mounting the app am using shell script and i have given path of the application which is present in module x. If a try to run the test from the class where this mounting method is present its being compiled and am getting results properly, but when i used this mounting method in some other test class and ran the test, its saying no such file present, i know this looks something starnge, but am facing this issue, pls guide how to overcome the same.

I just want to point out for anyone else who may be confused on this point that the 'mount' verb is undocumented for hdiutil (at least in 10.7). The correct verb to use is 'attach' as in hdiutil attach ../common/src/main/resources/Modulex/AdbeRdr11000_en_US.dmg - 'mount' is probably a compatability verb aimed at people used to linux or standard unix.
I was surprised 'mount' worked at all, really, but there you go.

When trying to send a mail, selecting attachement fails with no error.

I imported lots of folders form Kmail (KDE3.5/ trinity) on a previous version (don't remember which one) of Thunderbird.
All worked fine. (I was able to send a variaty of files in email attachements (.xls, .zip, .txt and also files with no extension with no trouble)
Somewhen two weeks ago I updated Thunderbird and it would not allow me to attach files to a mail I want to send.
This means: --click on the button to send a new mail.
--typing a email adress
--typing a subject
--typing 'hello' into the text field
--clicking the button to attach a file
--selecting a text file, picture, .zip, binary and click 'open' in the file selector
== nothing changes in the email window to show that a file has been attached and also on sending the mail the receiver does not receive a mail.
reverting to older version of thunderbird does not seem possible as it appears that there is no link to older packages on thunderbird downlaod site?
where did I go wrong?

I doubt it's a version problem. But I don't run Linux any more.

PDF attachment fails to print from Outlook

Hello,
Our company is using Outlook 2010 Professional Plus and Adobe Reader 10.1.12. We have been having an issue where certain users (seemingly random) are unable to print PDF documents directly from Outlook. There are no errors and the printing options box populates, but nothing is sent to the printer. This is happening on many different printers with different models and makes. The work around we have found is to save the attachment out to the desktop and print from there, however we would like to get to the bottom of this issue.

If you save the attachment to computer and then try to print with Adobe Reader, are you able to print.
It might be the issue with the user level access.

SQLConnection.attach() fails when file path contains apostrophe

Any help on this would be much appreciated. Issue occurs when user has apostrophe in their windows username and therefore an apostrophe in their File.applicationStorageDirectory path.
e.g. if the user logs into windows as j.o'reilly, then it will be:
C:\Documents and Settings\j.o'reilly\Application Data\application name\local store
Have tried with Air Runtimes: 2.5.0.16600,2.6.0.19120,3.2.2070
Have tried with Air SDKs: 2.0, 2.7, 4.5
To replicate without creating a windows user with an apostrophe, the same result occurs if the files themselves are named with an apostrophe:

The workarounds we attempted involved escaping the apostrophe were defeated by the File class removing the escaping.

Mail sent with png attachment fails to arrive at destination

Since 1.31.07 trying to resolve sent MAIL [ i'm OS 10.4.8 use dot.mac system] most often fails to arrive at destination even if leaves my computer & in my sent box. Find this on 3 differenct dot.mac mail computer users. Temporary resolution, send as TIFF via GRAB or in PDF format. Can see the email on MAC-MAIL server in the "sent" box but never in IN box. Attempt to BCC to myself / does not return the "sent" mail to me.
ALL problem emails are LESS thern 1 MB in size. Anyone else? Sending via PORT 25, account settings seem correct.

Try select/using your ISP's SMTP server to send with your .Mac account via the Mail application to see if this makes any difference.

Forwarding an email on the iPhone with an attachment fails

I'm not sure when this problem started but it's been going on for at least a week or two, possibly longer. I am operating at the latest firmware version (2.1).
I do not use Mobile Me.
If I send a pdf, gif, jpg attachment in an email from my work account, for example, to my Yahoo account that works. I go to the Yahoo account email on the iPhone and read the email and view the picture.
If I FORWARD the email to another person and choose to include the attachment, the email does not get sent. I get the error, "Cannot Send Mail - An error occured while delivering this message". The forwarded email sits in the Outbox and the iPhone periodically tries to send it but it never works.
I tried deleting the Yahoo account off the iPhone and then re-adding as was stated in one discussion but this did not work.
Is this an iPhone or Yahoo problem?

I have the same problem with my email address. It started about a week ago. It won't forward attachments but works fine with just text. If I use my wife's Yahoo address which is a sub account of mine it works fine. Exactly the same settings in both cases.
Even tried it on a different iphone and I get the same result.
My email does work fine though through Webmail and through Mail on the Mac or Outlook.
I'm betting it must be Yahoo though.
Yahoo have been'improving' their SMTP spam protection and I don't know if it has caused something on my Yahoo account to block anything with an attachment that comes from the iphone.
I tried calling them about it and after about an hour I convinced the 'technical support guy' (term used loosely) to see if there something different between the settings on the two accounts or to see if there was a message stuck in the system somewhere causing a blockage from the iphone. That's when the call dropped off and losing the will to live, gave up on talking to them.
I did put it in e-mail and may get a response if they pass it on to a real Technical advisor.
Will post again if I have any luck!
