Fios news NJ

Can u please add fios 1 news NJ to zip code 08753 please and soon

You need to be more descriptive with your problem.  When you go the doctor do you just say I'm broke.  No, you tell him symptoms.... same wth technical issues.
So:
What cable did you connect?  and where?
Do have a TV with QAM turner?
Did you switch your TV to display the antenna/cable input?
Did you scan for digital channels?
Did you see new channels found?
Can you see any channels?
You should see FIOS on channel: 65-1017
See http://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/lineup_web/US:08757#lineup_9885421
Finally I'm pretty sure you get FIOS NJ but Verizon does not added it the STB channels. ....just like me in Westchester with FIOS 1 LI.

  • New FIOS rates - confusing & scary

    This link shows the new FIOS rates scheduled for implementation on 17 Jun 2012:
    http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/2/3059741/verizon-fios-new-pricing-internet-plans
    Apparently what Verizon is doing is upgrading existing plan/tier speeds and also increasing their cost.
    What is confusing to me is my current plan, which I started last December, is for 35/35 speed and costs me $40/mo. as part of my quadruple-play Verizon service agreement.  According to the article, 35/35 is being upgraded to 75/35 at a cost of $85/mo.
    This seems like a ridiculously large price increase and if real will probably cause me to not renew my FIOS contract when it comes due.  Of course I may be mis-reading or mis-interpreting what the article says, which I hope is the case.

    What you're seeing as far as pricing goes in that article is for unbundled pricing (essentially, if you get FiOS Internet and nothing else). If you have a triple play, expect the price to be a bit less. I do agree that the pricing is a bit high, but what you do when competition charges the same price for somewhat less speed on the upload. Not much I'm afraid. It's still more generous than what you'd get for a business class line without an SLA, but for the 15Mbps/5Mbps plan the price could drop a bit back down to the pre-2007 price range of FiOS, to say $35-40 a month standalone.
    If you're in a contract right now, unless Verizon generously grants speeds to those in contract for the same price, your speeds and price remain the same. When it comes time for renewal of the contract, either renew your current service or go to a new bundle with a contract or month to month, based on the pricing at that time.

    WILL ANYONE PLS HELP ME WHATS WRONG WITH THE CODE OR WHAT ELSE SHOULD I DO TO GET THE IMAGES TO PRINT CORRECTLY
    Thanks
    Tips

    All u need to do is specify a protocol. In your case it will be "file://"" preceeding the path to the images. Not a very good idea to use absolute path to the images though. Consider relative ones instead.
    Hope this helps.

    You could also look at OWB_HOME\owb\bin\win32\setowbenv.bat to see how all the environment variables are set before starting OWB.

    The missing slashes are from the formatting OTN uses, not something left out of your code?
    ("C:
    Documents and Settings\\cbashyb
    My Documents
    XML Publisher
    renewal letter

  • Report Definition not found - calling a report from JDev.

    Hello,
    I have the following on my local machine:
    BI Publisher
    Jdeveloper
    I created a report in BI publisher called Test1, and now I am creating a web service in jdeveloper to call it.
    I am having issues with calling it from my jdeveloper.
    here is the code I am using to call my report (below).
    Since BI publisher is installed on my local machine I tried both paths but neither are working
    1- final String reportAbsolutePath = "C:\\Test1.xdo";
    2 - "http://aramamni-us.us.oracle.com:9704/xmlpserver/~administrator/Learn/Test1/Test1.xdo"
    I am sure 2 will not work since System.out.println("calling " + myPort.getEndpoint()); returns
    "calling http://localhost:9704/xmlpserver/services/PublicReportService"
    I know the problem is with this line of code but I can't figure it out.
    repResponse = myPort.runReport(repRequest,username,password);
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            try {
                bip_webservice.proxy.PublicReportServiceClient myPort = new bip_webservice.proxy.PublicReportServiceClient();
                System.out.println("calling " + myPort.getEndpoint());
                // Add your own code here
                 final String username = "Administrator";
                 final String password = "Oracle123";
                 //final String reportAbsolutePath = "/Web Service Test/HR Manager/Employee Salary Report.xdo";

    }I'm stumped as to where it is going wrong. I know that packVectors() and unpackVectors() both work, as they are used in a local save function. I suspect the problem lies between the getWBContent(String hid) and the fileListener class, but I am not certain where. Any help would be appreciated.

    First, you are expecting read(buffer,offset,count) to throw an EOFException. It doesn't, it returns -1 at EOF.
    Second, you are using a Writer to write binary data (resulting from serialization). This will corrupt it. Use an OutputStream.
    Third, what I really don't get is why would you (i) write local data to a file and (ii) start a new thread to (iii) read it back and (iv) send it over not one but two sockets, when you could just return the data as the result of the remote method without the file, the thread, or the Sockets.
    And in any case this sort of thing is most definitely not what SwingtUtilites.invokeLater() is for. (What it is for is updating Swing components and ensuring it all happens in the Swing thread, being the only correct way to write Swing code as Swing is not thread-safe by design.) If your server has a Swing GUI, which doesn't seem likely, it will stall for the duration of all this I/O. If it doesn't, why start the Swing thread at all?
    Just define a serializable object that contains all the data you are passing to writeObject()/writeInt() and return it as the result of the remote method.
    You will save yourself a lot of latency and code in the process, and you could reduce all this to about six lines of code, something like:
    return new WBContent(
    PageHolder, //Pages to file...
    ImgPage, //Images for the Pages to file...
    WBStack, //Current object stack to file...
    objCount, //Current object count to file...
    pageCount, //Current page count to file...
    pageCount-1 //Current page number to file...
    ); where WBContent is a serializable class with the appropriate members and constructor, and is the return type of getWBContent().

  • Couln't  save a buffered image as BMP with java 1.4

    Dear friends,
    I tried to save a buffered image as BMP with java 1.4. When I run the program ,it executes sucessfully, but no image wasn't created. When I tried the same code with java 1.5 got the right result.
    This is the code I have written.
    public static void saveBMPFile(BufferedImage bufferredImage, String fileName) throws Exception{
              // TODO Auto-generated method stub
              try {
                   Iterator iter =

                        ImageWriter writer = (ImageWriter) iter.next();
                        ImageWriteParam iwp = writer.getDefaultWriteParam();
                        iwp.setCompressionMode(ImageWriteParam.MODE_EXPLICIT);
                        iwp.setCompressionType("BI_RGB");
                        FileImageOutputStream fios = new FileImageOutputStream(new File(fileName));
                        writer.setOutput(fios);
                        IIOImage image = new IIOImage(bufferredImage, null, null);
                        writer.write(null, image, iwp);
                        bufferredImage.flush();
                        fios.flush();
                        fios.close();
         } catch (Exception e) {
         throw e;
    please help me to find its solution.
    thanks & regards
    K P Jyothish

    Please use code tags http://forum.java.sun.com/help.jspa?sec=formatting
    I can see no else for "if (iter.hasNext()) {", so if no encode is found, no error message would be displayed.

  • Report File conversion 8.5 to XI

    Is there a way to programatically convert 8.5 report file to 9 or XI ?
    I have tried this (8.5->9 conversion) but the file is still in 8.5 :
    (Quick and dirty code)
    Dim rptDoc As New ReportDocument
            Dim fio As FileInfo
            For Each fic As String In Directory.GetFiles(".\etats8.5\")
                fio = New FileInfo(fic)
                rptDoc.Load(fio.FullName)
                rptDoc.SaveAs(".\etats9\" & fio.Name, CrystalDecisions.Shared.ReportFileFormat.VSNetFileFormat)
            Next
    Any suggestion, idea ?
    Thanks

    Curious, how are you verifying the reprots are still in 8.5 format?
    In the old days we simply copied the file but in .NET we should be updating the format and saving it in the new version. A quick test if you still have CR 8.5 is to try to open the newly saved report. If it fails with an invalid TLV error or any other error it's be updated.
    Other option is to export the report to RPT ( Crystal Reports ) format and then open the new report and discard the saved data.
    I have not tested this, I don't have 8.5 installed any more. I did confirm using XI R2 and opening a version 10 report and saving it it does update the file version.
    Thank you
    Don

  • Airport Extreme and USB printer

    This past week upgraded my home system to Verizon's FIOS--new router, wiring, etc. Got the Airport up and running without too many glitches. I did have to unplug it a few times in the process. But now I find the Airport no longer sees my Lexmark C510 printer. It's never had a problem seeing it before and I fail to understand why any external changes would affect this connection between the Airport and printer. I note, too, that in the past week I updated the Airport firmware to the latest, and have heard that others have problems with printers subsequent to that. The Airport DOES see the USB hard drive connected. No trouble there. This is purely a printer issue.
    I have unplugged the printer, unplugged the Base Station, and shut down everything and brought it up one piece at a time, but no change in the status of the printer.

    Try as others have to roll back the firmware to 7.3.2. Worth a shot since it was running ok before the upgrade.

  • No Local Forecast On The Weather Channel

    I have the Weather Channel on FIOS but I don't get my local forecast.

    You don't state where your location is, since the results vary from location to location.
    The NYC Metro has:
    1) Channel 49 - Weatherscan from Weather channel
    2) Channel 119 Weather Channel's "Weather on the 8's"
    3) Channel 619 Weatherchannel HD but only national "Weather on the 8's
    4) FIOS News Channels 1/501  (Hudson Valley, Long island or Northern New Jersey)
    I prefer option 1 or 4 as the Weather Channel rarely has weather, but now chooses to put on all kinds of weather related reality shows.
