Fios TV loads up very slow.

I got fios recently. Today, there is a outage for TV according to the verizon website. However, every time when there was no outage, it takes a very long time before the stv shows any visual at all on my TV. Sometimes it takes like a minute while other times it can take as long as 7-10 minutes.
I don't think cable ever took that long. Is something wrong with my stb?

Yes I do have this problem when there is no outage.
I have the stb hooked up via hdmi to my hdtv. It takes anywhere from 2-10 minutes to start seeing any visual. I know that the problem isn't the TV because I have tried hooking up my ps3 to the same hdmi port. I get visual within 3-6 seconds with my ps3. I current have the qip7100 2.

SQL loader load data very slow...

Hi,
On my production server have issue of insert. Regular SQL loder load file, it take more time for insert the data in database.
First 2 and 3 hours one file take 8 to 10 seconds after that it take 5 minutes.
As per my understanding OS I/O is very slow, First 3 hours DB buffer is free and insert data in buffer normal.
But when buffer is fill then going for buffer waits and then insert is slow on. If it rite please tell me how to increase I/O.

Safari loads (freezes loading) webpages very slow on iPhone 4

Hi!
I have a problem with Safari on my iPhone 4 (4.2.1). Since I upgraded to 4.2.1 a week ago Safari is very slow and in 80% of time wont load webpages with first time when in 3G mode with strong bars. Well it loads them but very slowly (It takes approximately 20-30 seconds to load google or other pages). Maybe it would be more precisely to say that it starts to load, than the blue progress bar just stops at around 1/2cm and than after 20-30 seconds it actually starts to open the page and the blue progress bar continues to move. Sometimes (not often) after those 20-30 seconds I get message that page can't be opened cause server stopped to respond...
What is important to my mind is that if I press reload while Safari is loading a webpage it opens fast as it should. So it usually works with second try.
Since I noticed this problem after I upgraded to 4.2.1 I think those two things have connection (4.2.1 and Safari problem) but I might be wrong.
This is happening in different locations around the city and it is not problem with coverage...I have three, four or sometimes even 5 bars 3G.
Anybody having the same problem or can help me with some advice?

We are using BAPI to fetch data from R/3, at the time of displaying it on the screen, page load is taking time, and scrolling of page is also very slow.
Can you help me in improving the performance of the page.

Firstly identify it is a issue with the BAPI side or not. Test the BAPI in R/3 side. If it takes too long, then tune the ABAP code. If it is fine, then try using cache settings at Iview level.

Flash player loading files very slow and getting stuck after 100%

I have an issue with my development and need your help and feedback for the same:
I have developed various E-Learning courses which was published some in Flash Player 9 and some with version 10. Since Flash Player 10.1 was introduced all my developed courses was running fine. But it's found that user who are using Flash Player 10.1.85.3 is facing issue with file loading and playing the courses. Some time Flash player fails to load the chapters and files after preloading 100%, and sometime it's very slow in loading performance. I like to intimate that all these was not happening with Flash player version 10. Please give me any idea where I am going wrong. Is this kind of issue possible? If anyone faced the same experience. Please give me your valuable feedback.
Please Note: I have faced an scenario that, suppose a user is stuck with loading the course, and after getting stuck he clear his browser cache, and immediately after that the same player start working fine. And loading the course chapter properly. Need help to get rid of this kind of situation.

Slow video load. Very slow.

I've published my site, but the videos take entirely too long to load. It takes more than twenty minutes for a two minute video to play. There is only one video per page. I don't know if this can be fixed, but I desperately need for it to. With loading time this slow, the site is rendered useless. Thanks in advance for your help.

Safari 8.0 loads pages very slow

Why does Safari 8.0 load webpages so slow now that I have installed OS X 10.10 - even the Apple.com page is painfully slow to load.

Please answer as many of the following questions as you can. You may already have answered some of them. In that case, there's no need to repeat the answers.
Have you restarted your router and your broadband device (if they're separate) since you first noticed the problem? If not, do that now and see whether there's any change.
If your browser is Safari, then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Any change?
If you're running OS X 10.9 or later, select the Advanced tab in the Preferences window and uncheck the box marked
Stop plug-ins to save power
Any change?
Quit and relaunch the browser. Any change?
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Photos, if it's checked. Any change?
Are there any other devices on the same network that can browse the Web, and are they affected?
If you can test Safari on another network, is it the same there?
If you connect to your router with Wi-Fi and you can also connect with Ethernet, do that and turn off Wi-Fi. Any difference?

Data load becomes very slow

Hi,after a migration from Version 5 to 6.5 the dataload becomes very slow.With V5 the dataload takes 1 hour, with 6.5 it takes about 3 hours.the calculation takes the same time.Any idea?

To many sub VIs could not be found so I can not give you more than some advises. But I see that you run all your loops at full speed. I do not think it is very wise. Insert the "wait (ms)" functions in all while loops, but not the loops handling the daq functions. Since they are controlled by a occurrence. In Loops handling user input only you may set the wait time as high as 500ms. In more important loops use shorter time.
Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted

Webpage loading is very slow with parental controls enabled

Hello,
My kids were complaining about slow webpage loading (~2 min page) and how they can't do their homework. I am running Lion (10.7.2) and using latest safari (or firefox) on a new imac. (4GB). After a few hours of searching and reading I created two new accounts, one with and one without minimal parental control enabled. Sure enough, easily recreated the problem, so it is nothing(?) that my kids did to their accounts. I have tried toggling the parental controls back to no internet site restrictions without changing the browser response. Thanks for any help.

From you other post and this one it looks like there may be too many jobs already running in BI and this is making the loading real slow.
Again check in SM37 or contact basis about number of batch processes available.

Fast fios on internet BUT VERY SLOW DOWNLOADS that also drop out and stall!

Spent hours on with customer service to no help!
FIOS works great and fast exploring and browsing the internet but beginning to today for no apparent reason on every computer on my network using MAC's every download is SLOW. For instance 500mb take 2 hours+ when normally they take 2 minutes to download. Also, every 1 of 2 downloads stop and don't even finish.
Any ideas or suggestion will be incredibly grateful!!!!

Is video streaming from various websites also affected? How about uploads?

IOS PS Express loading photos very slow

i'm using an iPhone 4s running the latest iOS.
i downloaded PS Express to try. i liked the effects it has so i did the in-app purchase for both the Effects & Border packs.
now, everytime i go to "Select Photo" from the main screen, and choose a photo from my library, it just says "Loading" with the spinning wheel over it for FOREVER!!!
well, obviously not for forever, but it does spin for an extreemly long time. usually, i just quit because it's taking so long to load the pic. i don't get it. they are pics i've taken with my iphone. nothing abnormal about them, so why does it take so long to get it loaded?
if i use the app to take the picture, it loads right away into the edit mode. so it's just with loading pics from my library.
anybody got any ideas on why & how to fix this? otherwise, i should go thru the motions to try and reverse my purchase.
