Fire fox browser being check by other site

ok reformated my computer fire fox put me on 32 beta. i went to log into my mesenger and it it started to check my brower. can any one tel me why? how do i go back to regular firefox ?

If you got Firefox from mozilla.org it should be Firefox 31.0

And how are you spawning the php instances? I don't see that in the daemons array anywhere.
EDIT: It looks like the info in that page is no longer using pre-spawned instances, but lighttpd adaptive-spawn. The documentation has been made inconsistent it looks like.
You will note that with pre-spawned information, the config looks different[1].
You need to do one or the other, not both (eg. choose adaptive-spawn, or pre-spawn..not both).

Can NOT get mozilla fire fox browser to close

I am changing over to Google Chrome and I went into my control Panel to delete Mozilla Fire Fox Browser and it Says that I must close the browser first. I HAVE IT CLOSED . I am trying to change browsers because My Adobe Flash Player CRASHED and I can NOT update the new plug-in because it gets 50% loaded and it stops and asks me to close Mozilla Fire Fox first . BUT the browser is NOT even OPEN... I am Logged into Google Chrome trying to update my Adobe Flash Player and IT SAYS please close Mozilla Fire FOX .. So I went into CONTROL PANEL and I can NOT even remove the browser!!!! Someone please HELP...How is it That this browser is running YET i do NOT even have it OPEN??????

Well, I can try to do one of several things here:
1. Help you fix Firefox and update your adobe flash.
or
2. Help you uninstall Firefox.
Let's do #1 first.
* Open the task manager (it appears you are actually using Windows XP?). Just use Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
* Now go to the processes tab, and find "firefox.exe" (without the quotes), Select it, then click "End Process".
* Or, if you want to, just restart your PC (this should always fix the problem of Firefox saying it's open when it isn't)
* Download Adobe Flash from [http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe here]. Run it.
* Start Firefox back up. It seems that the most likely reason for you having firefox.exe hang at shutdown is a bad extension, so you can try [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to diagnose if you have more problems.

You didn't do it using JSP, keyboard events are client side and will need to be done with javascript. AFAIK the only thing about events that is not cross-browser is the way the event object is handled. This can easily be fixed with a minor workaround.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Fire fox browser page is totally inoperative nothing happens it just keeps on loading

i have downloaded fire fox beta 4.0 two times and each time, i am facing problem. Right after installation when launch fire fox and type gmail, the page keeps on loading and i can not do any thing i.e. no key pad entry, no mouse operation, no new tab opening

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem. You may have installed a variant of the "VSearch" ad-injection malware.
Malware is always changing to get around the defenses against it. These instructions are valid as of today, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for a more recent discussion, or start a new one.
The VSearch malware tries to hide itself by varying the names of the files it installs. To remove it, you must first identify the naming pattern.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
A folder named "LaunchDaemons" may open. Look inside it for two files with names of the form

Here something is a variable word, which can be different in each case. where something is the same word you saw before, drag that subfolder to the Trash and close the window.
Don't delete the "Application Support" folder or anything else inside it.

there may an item named exactly

It's actually a folder, though it has a different icon than usual. This item always has the above name. Drag it to the Trash and close the window.
Don't delete the "Frameworks" folder or anything else inside it.
If you didn't find the files or you're not sure about the identification, post what you found.
If in doubt, or if you have no backups, change nothing at all.
The trouble may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an item with that name in the Applications folder, delete it, and if you wish, replace it with the genuine article from mplayerx.org.
This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Then, still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
          Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
          Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)

Captivate 7 course does not track or bookmark when using Fire Fox browser. Can anyone help me???

We recently switched from using EI to Fire Fox. When we switched my Captivate 7 course is now not bookmarking or tracking in the LMS. Prior to the switch the course was working fine. Bookmarking and tracking as it should.

I only have Windows 7 handy to test...

On a non-secure (HTTP) page, it worked as designed and populated a page with reference info. When I clicked import it took me to another page, I guess a login is needed to do that.
On a secure (HTTPS) page, it opened only a blank tab and triggered a mixed active content block in the secure page. To work around that, I edited the bookmarklet to this code:

HI Jazzy, caveat first. I'm not hugely experienced with iTunes and syncing music, BUT, I think the problem is your switch of Apple ID. The music you had before 'belongs' the the previous family AppleID. When you switched ID, then iTunes didn't associate the new ID with the old music list.
Try this:
Log back in with the family ID. Either change the credit card number to your own, or add your credit card to the family one. You should be able to delete it later when you have finished. Then you should be able to download the Justin Timberlake album to the family account.
My suspicion is that by logging back in with the original ID, all the music should be back.

Ahh, the toolbar is still on system. I thought ComboFix got it. I think I'll uninstall Mozilla prior to initiating the fix procedures you linked. The extracare service tech support I'm paying Frontier (ISP) isn't worth a lick. After I thought I had removed, I called them and had my system scoured by them. May need to cancel that $14.90/month service...seems to have been a waste.

"Obsolete browser" on Youtube and other sites

I'm experimenting troubles with certain sites like Youtube, Hotmail or Twitter. I receive a message from Youtube like "You're using an obsolete browser", but I have the latest version of Firefox. I've tried re-installing and re-updating but nothing changes.
Also I can't read my mail in Hotmail because I can't "click" in some links like "Inbox".
On Twitter I'm redirected to mobile version site but I'm operating from a desktop pc and I read this message on the top of the page: "You are on Twitter Mobile because you are using Internet Explorer 6" but, of course, I'm using latest version of Firefox.

I did a refresh on my Fire fox browser and now I can't print anything. Help!

Browser was hanging up and issuing a not responding message. this would last for a good period of time. then all of a sudden it would load my home page of Yahoo.
Did a refresh of the browser and it solved the slowness of the page loading, but when I went to print a page everything would work until i actually clicked on the print button and a box came up telling me firefox had crashed and would send out a report. This happened after the browser refresh. Did something get removed so the browser doesn't recognize the printer? How do I solve this problem?
