i need to set fireaction event on click of lov image icon , i have tried using
pagecontext.isLovevent() but this is fired only at the lov value on click back to the main page not immediatly after the image icon is clicked. so please suggest me some solution on this.

actually the funtionality is i need to pass one value to lov query in controller.The query results are being displayed on the lov page after i set that value in where clause. Since i need to set that value in where cluase before the query execution(lov page display) thats why i need to set fireaction on image onclick of icon.

First, these NW04s menus are not really context menus. They are static menus that are rendered within the view layout. Real context menus will come later.
There is no "onMenuOpen" event for an application.

I have always used images for my folder icons, and now I am told that Mt. Lion does not allow me to go to the GET INFO window and do a click on the image icon and then be able to paste that image on to other folders. I just talked with a Apple support guy and he said that Mt. Lion does not support this function. He did say that there are third party programs that allow using images to make icons for folders or other items. I can see some image icon in some of my hard drive folders....... some folders show image icons while others do not. I am a photographer and have scads of photo folders spread all over different hard drives, and I find it easier to find what I am looking for by just looking at the IMAGE PICTURE in the different folders on my hard drives, than by having to read the one or two words associated with each folder.
THe support guy said to request that APPLE put back the ability to use the coy paste function in the GET INFO window. If i can't get this working like it was I wouyld like to know how to get a refund and throw out Mt Lion.Restore your Lion bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup and file your ML bug report. Just keep the installer ($20 USD isn't worth the hassle trying to get it refunded). Then, when the function's restored, reinstall and run Software Update.

My hard drive crashed recently and we took it to apple to get repaired. The apple employees said that they would have to replace the hard drive but they didn't have the equipment to get the data off my hard drive. So I took it to a computer store who had the right equipment after a month and a half of waiting they finally got all the data off my hard drive and put it on an external hard drive (Seagate Expansion Portable Drive). I then took it back to apple who replaced the hard drive. Now I'm in the process of reinstalling everything. I have never done a Time Machine back up or backed my laptop up to . Which I now will do very often once I've reinstalled everything. I have reinstalled all of my desktop images and folders as well as my iTunes library with no issues. However when i went to reinstall my iPhoto library it came up blank. I then Rebuilt the library several times and this was the result.
It shows that the photos and events are there but there are no thumbnails and if you click on an image or video nothing comes up.
Please help i have three years worth of images from holidays on here and would be devastated if i lost them.iPhoto cannot find the thumbnails or the original pictures.
Go to your iPhoto Library in the Pictures Folder.
Right-click on it and from the resulting menu, choose 'Show Package Contents'.
This will bring you inside the iPhoto Library package. There you should see a Folder called Masters. Within that, there should be folder containing your actual photos.

How to click on an Image and fire an event
Is there anybody who can tell me how to click on an image and fire an event, so I can programmatically use the object? Can the image be used as an object?

ChileWhy don't you just use a mouse listener and check (by getting the x,y coordinates of the click) whether the guy has clicked on the picture?
That would be an easy way to see if some one has clicked on something.

Hi experts,
Can we trigger an event on the click of an image , instead of a button?
I could not add image onto a button , neither could i find the click property for an image. Image field click opens up a file browser which does not suffice the requirement.

You can have a small work around this, I think it may some what solve your query. Place a button over the "Image Field" and for that Button in the "Object" Pallette make the Appearence as Custome and there select every thing as none and in the "Border" Pallette select everything as none. And for this Button you can write "Click" event and also if you also want the Image field File Browser to be opened up then you can have the JavaScript in the Button Click event itself like for eg. image1.execEvent("click").

Basically what you would need to do is:
a) on a mousePressed you would need to create a new JLabel with the icon from the clicked label and add the label to the glass pane
b) mouseDragged code would be the same you just repaint the label as it is moved
c) on a mouseReleased, you would need to check that the label is now positioned over your "drop panel" and then add the label to the panel using the panels coordinates not the glass pane coordinates. -

I suposed you are new to ALV's, so i have a sugestion for you.
Instead of CL_GUI_ALV_TREE try to use some examples of CL_GUI_ALV_TREE_SIMPLE. It's much more simple to understand and to work with. For example Report BCALV_TREE_SIMPLE_DEMO.
In this case, to add more nodes to the the you just need to add 3 lines of code in
perform build_sort_table.

How to use an Event Structure responding to an image control that belongs to a parent VI.

I am loading a subpanel vi by pressing a button located in the user interface of the main vi which also contains an image display. Subpanel vi opens up on the side and doesn't hide the image display of the main vi. Subpanel vi contains an event structure that needs to respond to user clicking on the image display of main vi.
Since the bug that occured while creating an image reference control isn't fixed, I am passing the main vi pane reference onto the subpanel vi. From that point I've tried to edit event structure and have it respond to the image control/pane that belongs to main vi but I don't know how.
Any help would be appreciated.

Seeing multiple iPhoto libraries when I click on the iPhoto icon in the dock?
I can't figure out why I am seeing multiple iPhoto libraries when I click on the iPhoto icon in my dock. I am running Lion on an early 2008 MacBook Pro (4 GB RAM), and when I click and hold on the iPhoto icon in the dock, it brings up a dialog box. From top to bottom, this is what I see:

I can't figure out why it shows three iPhoto libraries when I only have one on my computer. I've tried deleting the icon from the dock and then putting it back in the dock, but it still shows three libraries for some reason. If I search for iPhoto in spotlight search or in finder, it only shows one iPhoto (in the applications folder). Any help on how to resolve this weird issue would be much appreciated!I have the same issue. i imported 3 sets of photos and in the background processes were running which froze everything then i forced shutdown by holding down the power button.

Activating hyperlink on click of a image
Hi,
I want to connect a hyperlink with an image in MSA 5.0. So when I click on the image (which is a custom resourse), it should activate the hyperlink so that I can navigate to another tileset. I also want an example to do this. Can anyone help me in doing this?

I am not sure whether the MSA event handling is supporting image controls.
So I would suggest first to implement an (empty) event handler for this control, check in debug mode whether this event is called at all.
If yes then the code should be quite similar as it is done 10000 times in MSA where another component is called. E.g. check the code for the onclicked event for control BP in activity tile actdeta2.
It is always the same logic: Define and create a business query and hand over the result being a business collection to the hyperlink source which needs to be fired manually.
