When I right click to open in new tab, the new tab will open but the page is blank. I have tried it in Firefox Safe Mode & with Add Ons Disabled, still doesn't work.

Is your new tab page set to about:blank? You can change this from the about:config page or you can restore defaults by resetting Firefox.

Ever since I downloaded the new Firefox, when I right-click on a link to open it in a different tab, the tab will open but will not load anything, no matter what link I try. The tab will show the website destination in the navigation bar, but will not automatically load it; I have to press the load button in the navigation bar instead of it instantly loading.

my Macbook Pro (OSX 10.6.7 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) has started misbehaving on me. When I'm working, the cursor will start spontaneously moving to the in a straight line, and randomly right clicking on things.
If I close the computer and open it back up, it sometimes stops for a little while, then will spontaneously start again. Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks!See this knowledge base article. Hi I Run Windows 7. Since upgrading to Firefox 4.0 I am unable to "clear history" and get the message "QuickTime failed to initialize". I can delete history when in safe mode with plug-ins disabled. Re-installing quick time fails to resolve the issue. Any ideas or suggestions?

Firefox plug in container has stopped working, even in safe mode with plug ins disabled
My firefox keeps crashing every 5 - 10 minutes. Sometimes I get a windows error message saying "firefox plugin container stopped working", but most times I don't. These are the actions I've taken so far, with no effect:
1. Updated all my plug-ins
2. Run firefox in safe mode with plug-ins disabled
3. Uninstalled and reinstalled firefox
4. Run an AVG scan which turned up nothing
Can anyone offer advice on how to fix this (very annoying) problem?

when i try to access the itunes store to buy music, it loads at the top and says connecting to itunes store..then it loads all the way and goes to a blank page. it loads and seems like it is will work, but then goes to a blank page. Why is it doing this?

When I right click on an image and choose "view image" from the list, it opens a page with the image on it but the background of the page is dark gray. How do I change the background color that the images appears on?
It is a new feature in Firefox 11+ versions to display a single image centered with an almost black background.
It is added by this stylesheet:
* resource://gre/res/TopLevelImageDocument.css
You can look at this extension to set your preferred background color and remove the centering if you display a single image in a tab.

When I attempt to save an image from a web site page, I right click and then the Save Image popup appears. At the bottom of the popup, the "File name" box will contain the appropriate file name of the image. You can try creating a new profile to see if the problem is with your current profile (the profile is where Firefox stores user data). Is there a way to change the order of the list that appears when i right click on a link?
In previous versions of firefox, when i right clicked on a link the list that appeareded was in order:
first Open Link in New Window
second Open Link in New Tab

Delete doesnt show up when i right click a song
When I right click on a song to delete it, the delete option doesn't show up. Any ideas?
Are you trying to delete from within a smart playlist? If so, and you want to delete the track from the library also, highlight the track and press shift-delete. If you only want to remove it from the playlist then you'll need to modify the rules of the list, or change a property of the track so that it no longer qualifies.

I am trying to isolate an issue where I cannot load one particular web page - my local newspaper. The page heading comes up but none of the articles.
In a normal Boot this happens - if I start in Safe Mode with Networking the page is normal and loads correctly.
I was wondering if any part of Firefox is disabled during a Safe Mode boot which could be causing this issue. The website is
