Firefox 3.6-1.5 never stops downloading under help

on the top line in firefoxyou have HELP once you click on the help icon the listing has a line item downloading 3.6-1.5 one sees a small round circle going round and round the sign is one when the computer is downloading

It would not let me use the internet - it get going to pages wanting me to download things - I felt unsafe, tried deleting my firefox and downloading it again but it still kept doing the same thing. Have deleted it now but do what to download it again - have used it for 3 years and before today had no problem

It's referring to another application that is running on your PC. Temporarily disable any A/V software you have running on the system and try to restore it again. Make sure you don't have any other software/programs on your PC that could be scanning or interfering with the restore process.

Ipad suddenly stopped downloading emails - help!

I was trying to send a large email yesterday with big attachments - it "hung" so i restarted the ipad. Now when i go into mail its just a blank screen with no emails. I deleted and re-added the mail account but still no emails. they downoad fine on iphone and laptop. Anyone have any ideas??

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Itunes download never stops

Now and then when I download songs to itunes the download never stops. It says download is 100%. Clicking on the x or pause has no effect. It says download is 100%. The song appears in grey on the list with the full progress disk at the left. But when I click on the song it plays all the way through. I have to close itunes and open it again - I have to go through the activity monitor to do that; force quit doesn't work - to make the problem go away but that doesn't always work either. Is there a fix? Thank you.

You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

Hi! Anyone else experiences occasional firefox crashes when watching some video on youtube and chosing "stop download" in right click menu?

SO I'VE HAD THIS PROBLEM POP UP TOO!! plays 1-3 seconds then quickly does shorter each time.. then snow...
looked frick'n everywhere. only 2 things i found that worked.
1. disable flash in chrome... this worked in the past, but did not fix it this time.
2. this solution you wont even believe!!! plug in a set of headphones... BOOOM!!! it worked for me. i found it on some message board. youtube/flash looks for an audio output. when it doesnt find it the thing just dies...
now the question is how to find a solution to stop forcing youtube to look for audio.
i hope this works for you!!! i didn't believe it until i tried it. i was like no frick'n way!!!

Try deleting the app by tapping and holding until it wiggles, then tapping the X. Then try re-downloading it.
