Firefox 3.6.13 do not have intermediate certification authority terena ssl ca (expiration 30.5.2020, is this problem specific to this version?

I was helping a friend to check the status of the certificate of a website. The certificate was not approved (firefox shows de warning page) in my firefox but it was in his.
I assumed it was because I had uninstalled firefox 3.6.13 and reinstalled it about a week ago. So he uninstalled his firefox software and reinstalled it. After that the site could not be viewed without the varning in firefox 3.6.13 at his computer either.

Why does Firefox 4.0.1 still not have the Terena SSL certificate built-in? Safari and IE 8 and 9 have access to it. This is a real nuisance. Is there a specific reason for it?
(I don't need to know the workaround as I already know it. My point is, there shouldn't be a need for a workaround.)

Also, if we must deploy it into Firefox manually, how can this be automated for 7,500 Windows XP PCs and 4,000 Macs? Is there a scripting language for Firefox or can we stick it in a specific directory and Firefox will automatically absorb it?
I think it would be easier if Firefox just incorporates it. It doesn't make sense for the other major browsers to support it and Firefox doesn't.

To reinstall iPhoto you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the:
HD/Library/Receipts folder (10.5 and earlier)
or from the /var/db/receipts/ folder (10.6) .
or from the /private/var/db/receipts folder (10.7 or later)
Then install iPhoto from the source it came from originally.

Everything works fine when the registration page is accessed through IE, Chrome, Opera or Safari (which list StartCom Class 2 Primary Intermediate Server CA as a Trusted Intermediate Certification Authority), but when I click on that link in Firefix I get the "This Connection is Untrusted" page because only StartCom Class 1 is listed as trusted.
Why is that?

If your Mac is running 10.6 like your signature says, then the 10.6.3 upgrade disks will work as they contain the full 10.6, you need to hold the option key down to select the disk to boot from.
Once booted from the disk, Disk Utility is there to wipe the drive (use the Security Option > Zero) and then reinstall O S X 10.6.3 and then reboot, press the power button down to hard shutdown and the machine will stay like that to boot into the Welcome to Mac video for the next owner to setup.

Yes. I ran it successfully on Mountain Lion and had no problems when I upgraded to Mavericks. Be sure to apply the latest software updates.

Can't access firefox anymore because "it does not have a program associated with it"

Suddenly today I was unable to launch firefox as normal. Told that "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action" And that I should create an association in the Folder Option control panel. I have not been able to work out how to do this, and wonder where the program (that has obviously been there for the past few years) has disappeared to?? I am still using Windows XP....... could it be something to do with that?

There are some malware infections that make it hard to run programs (EXE) files. Hopefully you do not have one of those.

Not true. Apple has removed both Apps from App Store so you cannot buy them anymore. But if you have any of these Apps already purchased in the past, then you can still download them on your Mac.

Open App Store, sign in with your Apple ID and go to Purchases tab. If you see iPhoto app listed there close down the App Store and do this steps as this is what worked for me:
Open Finder and go to Applications folder.
Locate iPhoto app
Drag iPhoto app from your Applications folder to Trash (NOTE: Do not emptied Trash yet)
Open App Store app and navigate to Purchases tab.
Click on Install button which is next to the iPhoto app (on the right hand side).
Once iPhoto is downloaded again, test it if its working for you. If all is ok, you can remove your Trash.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

I'm having trouble updating my iphone 4... In the settings under general & then about, there is not a "software update" option available. Is this normal? I have also lost the ability to send & recieve pictures thru txting. This happened after I tried to update thru itunes.I can't purchase app's with the newest update.
