Firefox 3.6.13 keeps drying to download but ever does.

For quite some time I've been prompt to download the 3.6.13 version, and I do. The the download box just keeps working, but the download never finished, even after many hours. At the bottom, I think it says, connecting to (something). Is there another way for me to get the newest version?

IE uses an [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ActiveX ActiveX] control to handle Flash objects.<br />
Firefox uses a different [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NPAPI NPAPI] plugin.

The only available, signed, iOS, for your iPod, is iOS 7.1. That's why you can't install iOS 6.1.6.

You must be using an update CD. You need the software that has the full version first - install that, then you can use the update one if needed. I know, cuz I made the same mistake - lol

Staying signed in at iCloud.com is not a problem for me. Try resetting your browser or emptying its cache.

Well the error message is in Swedish but says: The installation program database is damaged. Please contact the Adobe support (which is a hard thing to do!!). I use Windows 7 Home Premium with service pack 1.

Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals.

Firefox downloads, but installer does not launch

I have tried to download (using run) firefox, but the install wizard will not launch. I tried saving the file, but it does not show up in my files.

Could you try the following steps?
1. Download the stand alone uninstaller
2. Close all your browser windows
3. Run the uninstaller
4. Restart your computer
5. Delete the following folder, depending on your operating system type:
Windows 32bit - c:\Windows\system32\macromed
Windows 64bit - c:\windows\syswow64\macromed
6. Download and install Flash Player located here:
Flash Player for other browsers

Mail trying to download but never does

Today my touch stopped downloading emails. It keeps trying to but never does. The wheel just continuously spins. Any suggestions?

Thanks. Very strange because the connection should be fine and it's the same that I'm using for the computer but based on your comment I logged on to another, weaker signal from a neighbor and it immediately downloaded everything. I guess it doesn't like this particular signal I am using.

Under regular user account Firefox closes its windown right after opening it, but this does not occur when run from administrator account.

I don't have the problem on Vista or XP. I have no problems when I am logged on as administrator. When logged on as a regular user some or all of the Firefox windows will open and then immediately close. It does not help to run as administrator or set other compatability options. I also see this on Thunderbird. I have not seen this problem on any of my other software.

I have Firefox 3.6.13 and I know that it needs updating but whenver I try it seems to go nowhere. Just keeps trying to update but never does. I have an iMac G5 with OS X 10.4.11. Can you help?

What more can I say? I am told that I need to update and when I try nothing happens. It keeps trying and trying. This has happened many times and I just give up on trying to update like it says I need.
