Firefox 3.6.17 navigation buttons are screwed up.. screenshot

It just started like this for no apparent reason. I didn't install any extensions or change settings for it to have happened that I can recall. I can't really find words to explain it, just look at the screenshot:

  • My Firefox 10 navigation buttons are present but greyed out.

    My Firefox 10 navigation buttons are present but are always greyed out. They have been like this for several versions of Firefox and I cannot find out how to make them work again.

    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
    See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
    There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
    If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
    See:

  • Flash player in Firefox acts as if keyboard buttons are being held down during games

    I am running Flash Player version 11.5.502.146 for Firefox.  While playing flash games online, I often notice that the game thinks that a button is being held down on the keyboard.  I have not noticed a patten as to which games are affected or which buttons are being "pressed", but a game that is affected will always act as if the same button is being pressed.  For example, one game will always be pressing "Left" (the A key), even when I shut down all processes or restart the browser or computer.  Another game will always behave as if the Pause button is being pressed, causing the pause menu to constantly appear and disappear.  I have opened these games in Internet Explorer and did not have the same problem.  Anyone else having these problems, or have any suggestions?

    Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
    THAT'S a full offline installer.
    Save it.
    CLose your browser.
    Run it.
    You're good to go.

  • ITunes buttons are screwed up!

    after installing iTunes 7 on my Mac, the buttons on the bottom (repeat, shuffle, etc) are all screwed up, and I have no idea how to fix it. Heres what I mean:
    http://img55.imageshack.us/img55/8050/picture1pu4.jpg
    Mac Mini 1.25Ghz   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Plug it into your computer. Go to iTunes. Click on the iPod icon in the sidebar of iTunes. Click on the Summary tab. Click on the restore button. This will delete everything from your iPod, so you will have to re-sync all movies, music, pictures, contacts and anything else you have on it. If you are using the disk-mode option, it will wipe all this data too, so be sure to back these files up before you embark on the restore procedure.
    If none of this works, and the buttons have failed rather than the iPod just needing to be restored then it is still under warranty if you only purchased it in October. You will almost certainly qualify for repair or replacement if the iPod is faulty. This may not be the case if the iPod shows any sign of damage due to damaged as a result of being dropped etc
    And you can always work your way through the Apple hints at the following link:
    http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/classic/
    If this doesn't resolve the problem, you should probably get in touch with Apple Support:

    Good luck

  • Cannot view HTML navigation buttons

    On my computer, Firefox (5.0) does not show the forward and back navigation buttons on one particular website. But on another computer with Firefox 5.0 the navigation buttons are visible and functional. I checked the "Websites look wrong" suggestions, but it isn't page styles, zoom level, font size, or script.
    The navigation links appear to be in a table. I see the other cells, but not the forward and back links. Here is an example:
    <title>Diario de Yucat&aacute;n - Ciudadanos rechazan la violencia</title>
    <div id="paging" align="center">
    <div id="notatitu">Ciudadanos rechazan la violencia</div>
    <table height="25" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="position:relative; margin-top:10px;">
    <tr>

    <td valign="top"><div style=" color:#333; ">&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>2 </strong> de <strong>22</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>
    </td>
    <td width="111" align="left" valign="top"> <a href="funcion_subportada.php?galeria_slide=20110408&seccion=146460&id=90043&pag_=3"><img title="Foto siguiente" alt="Foto siguiente" border="0" src="http://www.yucatan.com.mx/images/bsignota.gif" /></a>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </div>
    <style>
    .principal{clear: both; display: block; height: 0;overflow: hidden;visibility: hidden;width: 0;}</style>

    Thanks so much for taking the time to address my question. Although your suggestion wasn't the fix, it led me to the solution. I had gotten a little carried away with AdBlock Plus. (Mexican websites can be extremely trashy with flashing graphics and ads.) In return for unubstructed reading, I had lost ability to see the navigation arrows, which are also .gif graphics! Thank you again!

  • My Back and Forward buttons are present but do not work. How do it fix?

    I have tried several fixes to no avail. The buttons worked until recently. Not sure when exactly they stopped.

    Back/Forward Home don't work in 7.0.1 due to '''network.http.max-connection'''s being upped to 256, reduce back down to 32.

  • Navigation buttons not working in iPad Adobe Content Viewer

    I am reposting this as a separate discussion from this thread (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5551618#5551618), since Bob B. said this is a separate bug from the nav button problems in Single Edition apps that people were encountering.
    Here is my problem:
    I have several folios that are a presentation of work (a slideshow per page, on most pages). Navigation buttons are needed since vertical swiping doesn't work on the pages where my images are full-width.
    Five times in the past week, the buttons have quit working (tapping a button jumps you back to the first page of the folio, instead of to Next or Prev). The only way to get them working again is to delete Content Viewer and all the content off the iPad, reinstall Content Viewer, and download the folios again. So far, I can use the folio maybe once or twice, and then the problem happens again.
    As you can imagine, this is very frustrating.
    It would be great if someone can look into this, since it does not seem to be a freak occurrence - it happens to me all the time since I got the latest version of Content Viewer.
    Thank you,
    Camille

    A tester was finally able to reproduce this bug. I'll let you know when I find more information. Thanks for reporting it.

  • Navigation buttons getting error in Accessible PDF

    In InDesign cs6 I have created 2 internal navigation buttons, one is "Go to destination" and one is "Go to Previous View". After exporting as an interactive pdf (yes, all the correct boxes checked or unchecked) and running a full check, I get these error messages:
    2 element(s) that are not contained within the structure tree. (How to Add Tags)
    Inaccessible digital signature
    Inaccessible form field
    I have been creating accessible pdfs for about a year but have never had to make one with this type of button. I have no idea why this is happening and have searched everywhere for an answer. Can anyone help? Please!

    Sorry for the delay in responding, you've probably solved this by now.  But just in case not, or for others searching for this answer.
    Strangely enough Navigation Buttons are considered "Form Fields" and need to be tagged in the proper reading order the Tag Panel under a Form tag. They also need tool tips which explain their purpose to the user.  The Tab Order also needs to be set in the Forms Task Pane.
    Here is a link that may help.

  • How to notify bean if  navigation buttons were used to show other entry?

    Jdev 11.1.1.2.0
    I have an af:form showing some attributes of a view. Nothing special.
    Also, the navigation buttons are shown allowing me to move thru the entries.
    How can the backing bean be notified if the navigation buttons where used?
    I do not want to connect a listener in the beans for each button (by replacing actionListener #{bindings.First.execute} for instance).
    Rather I want the bean listen to changes made to the view.
    How can this be done?
    Thanks

    I got it working using this construct
    DCIteratorBinding it = ADFUtils.findIterator("someIteratorName");
    it.getNavigatableRowIterator().addListener(this);
    it.getViewObject().addListener(this);
    This seems to work ONLY before I commit.
    After committing the listener is not being invoked anymore
    ideas?

  • Default Strata navigation buttons used to have colors besides blue with Windows 2000.

    I recently moved from Windows 2000 to Windows 7 and noticed that the default Strata navigation buttons are now all blue. For example, with Windows 2000 the stop "X" was red and the "Forward" and "Back" arrow buttons were green. No biggie, but is there any way to get these colors with the default navigation buttons in Windows 7?
    Thanks!

    Hello and thank you for the reply!
    While I am waiting for the issue to start up again, I'd just like to cover some things you mentioned in your post. :)
    I only updated the bios because I was originally experiencing these issues. It was a method to hopefully resolve them, which did not work. I was very careful, and the process was a success. I updated to the most recent recommended driver for my motherboard
    from the manufacturers.
    As for Auslogics Boost Speed, it is not running on my computer, as it is a piece of software I only have used to clean junk files (cache/temp) for a very long time now with no issue. I have also tried updating all of my drivers with success, however that
    did not solve the issue either. I even rolled back my network card driver just in case with no luck.
    I have not thought of disabling my audio driver yet, being how it effects far more than just my audio when it happens. My mouse is jittery/laggy as well when no sound is playing. But other tests have shown that it may be a network issue. Next time it happens
    I'll temporary disable my network drivers to see if that causes the issue to clear up.
    I will be sure to mark answers which help appropriately. Thanks again! I should return with the information requested from Zigzag's wiki within 2 days of on-time, when this happens again.

  • Navigation "Back" and "Forward" buttons are inactive, they do not work at all. How do I fix this?

    I have downloaded the latest version of firefox and the navigation buttons in the browser will not work in any way. The "Back" and "Forward" buttons are completely un-usable.

    Toolbar misbehavior could be due to a problematic add-on (e.g., theme or extension), or a corrupted settings file. Next time you upgrade -- and for security reasons, it is highly recommended -- try Firefox's Safe Mode to see whether you can pin it on an add-on or custom setting. You also could clear your toolbar settings.
    More info on Safe Mode:
    First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
    Next, restart Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode] using
    Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
    In the Safe Mode dialog, do not check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode."
    Does the toolbar work correctly?

  • Navigation buttons became white after update to Firefox 13 (or 14)

    2 months ago I've seen the navigation buttons have changed, so I thought this change was applied for everyone.
    But I see more and more users that still have the old style and honestly? I want it back :)
    (When I say "old style" I refer to [http://www.stephenhorlander.com/images/blog-posts/windows-theme-i03-app-button/Fx-4.0-Mockup-Win7-i03-AppButton-ToB.png this].

    Meh, weird.
    I've restarted to safe mode, the icons are still white but with a change: the size of the back & forward returned to default size.
    Plus I've found a bug on the way.
    If you restart in safe mode (with this annoying white theme [oh and btw, I have only one theme and it is the default one]), enter a page, enter another one in the same tab and go back, there will be a space after the back button. Perhaps this happens only in a RTL version of Firefox, not sure.
    2 pictures attached for a better explanation.
    Thanks for the quick respond and help, much appreciated.
    '''Edit:''' damn, Firefox is super fast in safe mode (and with 80+- tabs) 0.0
