Firefox 3.6.3 mac crashes after playing a few youtubes, is there a fix?

Firefox 3.6.3 mac, will often crash after playing a few YouTubes or navigating within youtube pages. Are others having this problem? Is there a fix?

Hello Greg.
Make sure your Flash plugin is up to date. If it is and the problems are still there, you may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons, except Flash (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

I remember installing the new updates for flash? and xquartz and nothing else.

I have an iMac bought may -11, and it worked fine with Snow Leopard.
About a week ago I bought and installed Mountain Lion 10.8.2. Everything went fine, and all software worked ok. iPhoto had some problems, but after installing update the system prompted to do, it has worked ok.
The propblem occurs now and then, when computer is waked up from sleep. The Desktop occurs, but no software starts, not even System Tools untlil rebooting the computer. Of course, I can not reboot the computer from "Apple menu", but holding the power button down.
This is very embarassing! OsX Mountain Lion has turned out to be a very big disappointment. I installed id because of iCloud (i have a new iPad, too with iOs 6 installed).
Can anyone help me? Is there any other way to solve the problem than re-installing good old Snow Leopard?
I would not like to do that, I bought Mac because I was bored in re-installing and recovering!

Since last sync on iPod Touch 1g, music crashes after playing 1st song.

Since the last sync on my iPod Touch 1g, both the 3rd party apps and the music app would crash after opening (music after playing 1st song). I found a fix online for the apps, but how do I get my music to play again?

I have had a similar hiccups with my 3G ipod touch 64gb after updating it with the new iOS 5. While syncing in iTunes on my MacBook, the storage bar on the bottom will show that most of the space is taken up with my songs that I want synced from iTunes but when I go to use the iPod touch after ejecting it from the MacBook the songs are listed in a ghost like consistency but the actual files are not there and I can't get any response when I touch the song title or album that I want played. In fact, when looking at the "About" inquiry screen within the Settings on the ipod touch, it shows that most all of my space is unused. Where are the phantom files, and why doesn't a synch work as smoothly as before? Conversely, my 4G ipod touch works flawlessly, so far, with the new iOS 5. I am afraid that the new iOS 5 isn't ready for prime time when it comes to the 3G ipod touches. Have any others had a similar problem when it comes to synching music, which used to sync flawlessly without problems, to their 3G ipod touches with the new iOS 5 upgrade?

Firefox 4 wont load page completely or play videos on youtube and ive noticed its always after clearing cache. after a while it will start working properly but its kind of annoying. Know what the problem is?

oh, there is still a pending issue with youtube unfortunately. I can play videos individually but if I click on a video that is part of a playlist it lags and then goes to a blank space where the video should be. Is that a flash player issue? So, I can play videos individually but not playlists.
Any word on that would be awesome

CS5.5 always crashes after converting a few files

Adobe Media Encoder will always crash after converting a few files, or even before starting to convert.
I'm on a Windows 7 professional SP1 (64bit), Intel Xeon w3550 3.07Ghz with an NVidia Quadro FX 3800.
The encoding profile is H264, multiplexing mp4, encoder: Video MainConcept H.264, tv standard: pal, bitrate encoding: cbr, key frames distance 72.
I'm using watch folders, since I have a backup of hundreds of video files stored in folders which have to be restored in the same folders once converted.

Same Problem here. Also, when this happens, it loses whatever album art was playing before. I've tried reinstalling and it doesn't help. Any ideas how to fix this? It's really annoying!

I click on the color picker and where I have seen the normal #0000ff blue color on my windows computer, this mac Mountain lion version shows a purple-ish color. Oddly, If I enter the hex # into the color picker, and use it as a fill, the correct color displays on the stage but when i use the eyedropper on that color, it shows it as the purple color again on the toolbar.
I've seen a similar thing like this happen when using adobe photoshop. However, the usual solution is to just make the managed color profile set to monitor RGB. The only downside with Flash is there is no preference to set that. The color palette in Adobe Photoshop displays as it should with the correct blue.
I should also note that I'm using a Samsung 941bw monitor with my mac mini which could also be part of the problem.
I figured i'd make this post anyway just in case it's the OS & Adobe Flash CS6 and not the monitor.
I've included a screenshot as well that shows that i've chosen the purple color and then made a rectangle shape on the stage and it comes out blue.

Mac crashes after activating full-screen

Hello.
My Mac crashes completely, when I go full-screen in VLC or online in megavideo. Not all the time, but every 2-3 days I guess.
When I hit the full screen button or use the shortcut, first, my monitor turns black and then says, that he had lost connectivity. But there is nothing wrong with the cable, it doesn't turn back.
My Mac doesn't react on anything, i.e. any sounds like when increasing the volume. After doing a force shutdown, I can see running downloads having stopped. As I once have waited 1 hour before doing the force shutdown, I can say that downloads stop right when my monitor turns black, so I suppose the whole OSX crashes.
When this happens, the only thing I can do is do a force shutdown. I hav done all software updates and do not know what I can do else. Does anybody have any idea? Thank you very much for your help.
I have a Mac Mini 1,6GHz with 2GB Ram and a 24" Acer V243HQ, using a DVI cable.

Mac Crashing after saving in Illustrator

I have a user here reporting their Mac crashes dead after saving in Illustrator. As it is happening, the audio skips then all dies. Any leads as to how this program could be causing this catastrophic of a problem?

If we are talking CS3 and Yosemite, and if it happens when saving to/placing from new location with Yosemite, you may get round it by using the Adobe Dialog instead of the OS Dialog in the Save As window (similarly for the Place window).

YouTube crashes after playing one second of video

I work in the IT Department at a college and we are deploying Adobe Flash Player Active X 11.9.900.152 on our network. The plugin version seems to work with no issue, however the avtiveX version crashes in IE8 after playing one second of a youtube video.
I have tried uninstalling using the Flash uninstaller tool, and deleting the files mentioned here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html#main_Download_t he_Adobe_Flash_Player_uninstaller
but had no luck.
I have also tried disabeling hardware acceleration.
Is anyone else seeing this issue or have any other ideas?

Are these XP systems? Is the hardware similar across the machines being impacted? Could you post a dxdiag report from one so we can take a look?
I just tried on a VM of XP with IE 8 but could not reproduce the problem. If you haven't already, you might also want to give our latest beta a try.

Skype on Mac crashes after a few seconds

Hi, so a couple weeks ago I was trying to use skype and it just kept crashing after a few seconds of me opening it. I've tried reinstalling it, updating it, updating my computer, nothing has worked. If I'm actually able to call someone it's fine, but otherwise it just crashes on me.
