Firefox 3.6.7 crashes continously and sends error report to mozilla

I am wrinting this from IE8 as its the only broswer that works for me, FF 3.6.7 opens for 30 seconds and closes say " Well this is embarassing firefox has closed" well damn right it is.. FF just keeps onpening and crashing and opening and crashing. this is on google firefox start page too, OS win x64 Enterprise version . 2x xeon E5450 @2.0 ghz = 8cores
I used to be a chef and , too many cooks spoil the broth, this can clearly be said about the coders at mozilla, too many coders spoil the software. I have been aloyal fan of FF since v2.0 but Ive had enough of the messing around trying to get this to work. this thread will never be responded to or if it does it will be so out of date by the time someone answers that Windows will have win 10 out. keep it simple like back in the day, to many opinions to many individuals to many coders with there own way of doing things. times up mozilla. either sort it or your going to the bottom of the browser pecking order.

Hello,
I've installed the latest version of firefox on my new computer (which uses Windows 8) but it constantly crashes and sends error reports. Often when I send the error report and restart firefox, it just crashes again before the pages can even restore. I've reset firefox but this hasn't sorted the problem. I even tried completely uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it but this hasn't helped either. I've tried running it with no addons too but this hasn't helped either!
I'd be really grateful if someone could help me. Thanks in advance.

If you installed Firefox 19, it has a known issue with certain graphics cards on Windows 8. Try installing Firefox 18.0.2 over your existing installation (no need to uninstall Firefox 19 first).

Starting Firefox I get the "Send Error Report" popup window. It states "firefox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."

This just started today. Everything seems fine. I just push the popup off to the side and continue to use the browser. If I were to click on the, "Send Error Report" or the "Don't Send" buttons then Firefox just closes!
Strangest thing yet, trying to figure it out!
Oh, I tried the reboot without add-ons! Even did the reinstall, still the same???

Just got back online, still working on things, BUT ???
I went back and dumped Norton's which I get for free from Comcast. I downloaded the AVG scanner. Went through all the bells & whistles and things seem ok ???? But I haven't done the reboot yet, so will do that soon. But I wanted to drop a line here and let you all know what is happening.
And Thanks Fred, the funny thing was it did seem to have something to do with their update??? I do like Norton's but my son uses this AVG and he said it was better, lol!!! But again, everyone has their favorite!
Mine is Norton's so once I confirm that everything is good, I'm going to try redoing Norton's and I'll try your suggestions, if they don't fix it!!

When I save a CS6 InDesign file as an .idml file InDesign crashes and sends a report to Adobe.

When I restart InDesign the .idml file is in the directory as well as a locked InDesign file.
I cannot open the .idml file, instead I get the message:
Cannot open "" file. Adobe InDesign maynot support the file format,
a plug-in that supports the file format may be missing,
or the file may be open in another location.
I can however open an InDesign .idml file that was saved from InDesign CC software.
InDesign CC software is also unable to open the .idml file that I created in CS6.

It seems to be a corrupted IDML file. Does it happen with every file or only with that one.
What is the content of that file? Did you embed images or graphics or did you ink them? Size?

You will need to provide more details as we cannot see your computer screen. Does this happen every time you launch LabVIEW? What version of LabVIEW are you using? What version of Windows? Does LabVIEW crash? If so, what were you doing at the time it crashed?

When i click Yahoo mail, firefox is closing, says send error report or close

The new Yahoo Mail is updated, so when i open yahoo mail, the browser says " firefox encountered... error . Send error report or close". This is the error window dialogue box appear.
After that, the complete firebox browser closing, how do i open my yahoo mail.

After installing oracle getting Microsoft "Send Error Report" & crashes app

After I installed Oracle 8i on windows XP, I am getting this error very frequently. As soon as I boot the computer I get the pop-up "Send Error Report" 4-5 times. Also I got this while using Client & Profits, MS Power Point and lots of other application. I get this pop-up and the application crashes. This is strange.
Has anybody faced this also? Can anybody help me with this? Is it because Oracle overwrites some of Microsoft's JVM and other things..

What edition you are running? PO 8i (8.1.7) had some issues with XP. Check for your edition's certification wrt Windows XP. 9i is certified with XP

Update your profile (equipent, OSX, etc)
In Lion MS office2004 is not compatible, are you stIll using it?
Do the SMC RESET and do the PRAM reset.
