I changed from Firefox 3.0.19 to 3.66 and now I get no more websites. Do you can help me?

BIOS downgrade can be done only using an traditional BIOS version
Such versions are not available for download.
You can download only the latest win-based BIOS.
But why you say it does not work properly?

Firefox 3.6 doesn't work with VMWare Virtual Machine Console Plug-in but IE does. Previous versions of FF worked fine. Will this be fixed in a new FF release?

When I try to open the Virtual Machine console I get the error:
Cannot access virtual machine console. The request timed out.
I had no problem with this until Firefox did an upgrade to 3.6 and now it doesn't work and I have to use IE to open the console.
I can see lots of other people have this same problem so am wondering when it will be fixed.

Hi, I have downloaded new Firefox 3.6 for my OS 5.8 (previous version was running fine) and it doesn't work at all. Links do not work, address bar does not open sites, period. I deleted the previous version and now I am stuck-I can't find it anywhere, and I want to get rid of this "upgrade". Safari works fine with my system. It looks like the javascript problem...what to do?

Windows Media Player Plugin Extension on Firefox 21.0 doesn't work

The Windows Media Player Extension for Firefox plugin doesn't work on Firefox 21.0
I've uninstalled and installed it again but it not appears on Complements page even.
Please make WMP extension work on Firefox again, use IE only to listen WMP streamings it's sick. =(

I'm viewing this from Firefox because Safari doesn't work

Safari simply doesn't work for me from most networks. Any attempt to load up any web page gives me a "Safari cant find the server" message. Every other browser works: IE, Firefox, lynx, even wget works. But Safari doesn't. It only fails on ethernet networks. For example it refuses to work at the hotel I was just staying in and at a friend's house. But it works at home or at a convention I've just been to because they provide wireless. Every other internet service is working fine and every other browser is fine. What does the type of network have to do with the browser? And why does it only affect Safari?

After several hours I solved my own problem. There was an http proxy set. For some reason it was only active for ethernet networks. The error reporting in Safari is dismal. It could have reported "cannot find proxy", and maybe even told me what proxy it was trying to connect to, rather than just giving a vague report that it can't connect to the host forcing me to work sequentially through every single menu option in an attempt to track the problem down. This is supposed to the the OS that "just works", not Windows.

Firefox 20.0 doesn't work for secure sites - it hangs up. Just upgraded to Mountain Lion.

I try to login to a secure site, but Firefox 20.0 doesn't return the login page. The busy wheel just goes around and around for a long time, but nothing happens.

Using KineticJS in Firefox causes memory leak (page works good in all other browsers, including Firefox Beta for Android)

Hi,
You can visit http://brandy.pararuk.com and see just 15 flying comets animated with KineticJS library.
When I run it (viewing Windows Task Manager) I see that firefox.exe consumes 100Mb of memory every second up to full avaliable memory and hangs on Windows.
I've tested this page also on desktop with: Chrome, Safari, IE9 and on my Android tablet with: Firefox Beta, Chrome and Android browser - page works good everywhere, except of desktop Firefox.

Did you try to disable extensions like Firebug?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

On the go doesn't work good??

My on the go play list doesn't work as it must be.
if i choose a number in my play list and i'll go to the on the go list it will show an other number?? What did i do wrong?

One thing about the iPod app, if you ever tap the item labeled "Shuffle" it doesn't mean that one time. What it does is turn the Shuffle option on then plays. Then later if you go play something else, that setting is still on.
Go play any song. While playing tap the center (artwork). Another set of controls appears with Repeat, Progress, and Shuffle options. If blue, it is on, if white it is off. Odds are you just have the Shuffle Setting still on so turn it off.

Firefox won't do the Master Password thing on mynew laptop. I have to eneter P/W's on each site i vist. it has worked fine on my PC, but even after i uninstall and reinstall Firefox, it still doesn't work.

i used to run the Norton password feature (it came w/ the new laptop) but now that i switched to McAfee, it doesn't recognize when i go to different sites. I've set up everything in the Mozilla menu (Tools, Options, Security, etc). it doesn't ask me of it want it to remember the password when log into Yahoo/Google/Facebook/etc)

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

I updated firefox and it doesn't work. I type in a web address and it does not to connect. Tried several.

After the latest update, I open firefox and it shows the web address but doesn't load. Safari works on the same computer and I did not change anything else.

Are you getting an error message from Firefox, or is the plugin listed as Disabled on the Add-ons page? You can check that here:

Can you get Firefox to recognize the plugin?

On both of my laptops that upgraded to the new version of Firefox, chat feature doesn't work anymore. It still works on my 3rd laptop that I didn't upgrade.

I have 3 laptops. On 2 of them I upgraded to the new version of Firefox recently when I was prompted to do so. Both of those laptops now have trouble with chat . My 3rd laptop I have not upgraded to latest version and the chat still works. Either fix this or I have to use a different browser. I need to chat for my work. I can't make money without chat feature!!!

I downloaded current version of Firefox and it doesn't work.

I downloaded the current version 7 of Firefox. I click it and the hourglass comes up but firefox won't load up. I had to go back to an older version which I really don't want to use. Can you tell me how to get the current version to work please? Thanks. I'm using XP.
