Firefox 30: Tab Mix Plus backgrounds are grayed. How to fix?
I've been reluctant to upgrade from 28 because of the changes to the toolbars and inability to customize. Now, I've been able to fix some of the problems with Classic Theme Installer, but when I adjust my Tab Mix Plus backgrounds, the inactive tabs are gray regardless of how I set the colors. How do I get around this newest aggravation? And how do I get rid of the Bookmarks link on my Bookmark Toolbar? Why do they have to mess with what works? Or do I just go back to 28?

If/when the next update comes about [http://tmp.garyr.net/help/#display-tab__customize_styles] Restoring to defaults and applying the color change to "current tabs" may reset this feature.

Can someone please make an extension for Safari that replicates Tab Mix Plus
I don't use Safari, not because Safari is a terrible browser, not because it doesn't do a good job. I don't use Safari because it refuses to integrate a basic and imperative idea into its structure: Tab Browsing should be intuitive. To that end, I am imploring someone, ANYONE who knows how to create Safari Extensions, please create an extension for Safari that essentially replicates Firefox's Tab Mix Plus.
Most people (I read about 95%) use tabbed browsing on a regular basis, its that important. I'm shocked that Apple hasn't done this already. They would steal all of Firefox's thunder with that simple extension. For me, its 90% of the reason I use Firefox and ignore Safari. With the beauty and simplicity of OS X Lion, I'm stunned that Apple hasn't asked some bored software guy to spend all of 5 minutes to make this thing already. I wish I knew how, I wish I knew how to make extensions and plug ins and apps and all that other stuff, but I don't. All I can do is ask someone out there to please get off the couch and make this thing already. I know that this will more then likely fall on deaf ears and be forgotten by Apple and that's sad.

Suggesting is that apple or iTunes comes up with a creative way of sending the "mix" and have a one click download process like when you purchase apps. Picture an e-card from Apple or Itunes that will ask you to preview the album before downloading. Also, you'd have to know the person in order to send this downloadable mix from iTunes. Name, email, etc. The idea originated because I want to make someone a mixed CD but who really purchased CD's anymore? It would b so much easier if I or anyone had the ability to create a mix iTunes card or gift or e-card to send to someone else. -
This problem started when i downloaded firefox 8 and is still there with 9.0.1. The Video DownloadHelper and Tab Mix Plus are announcing new updated that were installed weeks ago. How do I stop this?

i have now installed too many tabs 1.3.3 to see if that will fix problem.
but yes each and every time i use firefox, not googlechrome, or ie or opera but only firefox 4 and having used tabs mix plus before i never had a problem.
but now with firefox beta and now the full release, the issue is still arising. evrytime i open firefox i close my eyes and wait for it to load... and load... when it does open, i open my eyes and lo and behold my tabs are gone.
thats it please help guys, i love firefox for many reasons i dont want to use opera.

Trying to configure Tab Mix Plus but can't find the Tools button on Firefox 4
The last issue of Choice Computer has a step by step "How to configure Tab Mix Plus". I can't start it because in the new Firefox 4 version I just downloaded, the toolbar with Tools and Help etc is no longer there.
Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
You can also access the TMP settings via the Firefox > Add-ons > Extension window. -
Want to be able to open tabs in multiple rows, rather than in a single row. I used tab mix plus before, but it says it is not compatible with New tab Homepage. The older version of Firefox allowed this very easily.

I like having the tab bar at the bottom of the screen; I use the task bar AT THE BOTTOM to switch between programs, so I want the the tab bar AT THE BOTTOM to switch between web pages. The only way I've found to get the tab bar at the bottom of the screen is the extension Tab Mix Plus. I used it for a long time, and it worked great.
Unfortunately, when I recently updated to Firefox 14.0.1, I encountered an error: I could no longer middle-click on a link to open it in a new tab (which I do ALL the time). After some troubleshooting, I found that it was being caused by some incompatibility between Firefox 14.0.1 and Tab Mix Plus; upon removing Tab Mix Plus, my middle-clicking was back to normal.
But without Tab Mix Plus, I'm back to having the tab bar at the top of the screen. I've searched and searched, and I can't find anything besides Tab Mix Plus that will let me put the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. I've found tons of stuff about the option "tabs on top", but that has to do with putting the tab bar above/below the navigation bar--it's still at the top of the SCREEN either way.
What can I do?Reset the pref <b>layout.scrollbar.side</b> to '0' or set to '2' to place the scroll bar at the default right side.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

I used to have my tabs reload every 2 - 5 minutes. I downloaded the new Tab Mix Plus and now when I click on "Reload all tab: button I don't get the drop down box any longer.

After I switched to Tab Mix plus I started getting the close button on both sides of tabs which causes me to accidentally close them all the time.
I also use TreeStyle Tab and I suspect an option in one of these two addons caused this... Or maybe a conflict?
I tried to solve it myself through the addon options but to no luck.

Photo pages backgrounds are skewed - how to unskew them?
The new Albums page is a great idea. And I love the rollover to skim the files in the album.
But clicking on an album takes me to a page that is not formatted well. The background behind the photos is skewed off from the rest of the template's theme in a jarring and obviously incorrectly formatted way.
But the background is not selectable for dragging or deletion.
Any idea of how to fix this?
Also, any way of getting rid of the "Subscribe" links in albums?

dougPeople have reported problems with certain themes. I have been using "black" and "darkroom" with no problems. Try switching to another theme to see if this is the case.
To get rid of the subscribe button go to the "photo" inspector and uncheck "allow visitors to subscribe".

How to fix this!Check to see if the phone has enough free space on it. Go to Settings->About on you iPhone and see how much free space there is. It's likely that your phone is out of free space. You could also try using a free peice of software called Pic Share It, to drag and drop the video directly to your iPhone wirelessly. Here's a video showing how it works.

I know that there is key combinations in firefox starting with ctrl + shift. I wonder how to disable this combinations instead of language change
It would be better to disable the Ctrl+Shift combination to rotate the installed languages and instead assign the specific key sequence (Alt/Ctrl+Shift+number) to select each keyboard layout to avoid such issues.
