This applies to paypal.com and several other sites.
Tried deleting cert8.db - no different.
Tried Resetting Firefox - no different.
Tried uninstalling Firefox and Profiles and reinstalling - no different.
I have recently updated Kaspersky but my ebanking site which uses a Kaspersky licence is OK on Safari but not Firefox.
Help!

Hello kenrichey, probably you have to enable ssl 3 again(in firefox 34 ssl 3 is disable by default, see why in the link at the end of my reply), go to [http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config about:config], copy the next bold '''security.tls.version.min''' and paste it in the search field, now double-click on it and change the value to '''0''' (zero), exit about:config page, '''exit firefox''', and then restart firefox.

No, the installer will tell you that you have a more capable version if you attempt to install Acrobat X on a system already installed with Acrobat XI.
If you attempt to install Acrobat XI on a system with Acrobat X then Acrobat X will be removed by the installer.
Use a Virtual Machine (VMWare, VirtualPC, Oracle VirtualBox, etc...) if you need both installed.
Now, that being said, if you manage to install both on the same machine without a Virtual Machine involved then you are asking for problems of file ownership and ActiveX control problems. On top of that you would be in an unsupported configuration.

Very weird day in Firefoxland
First on a Powerbook G4 running 10.4.11 I respond to an invitation to upgrade to Firefox 4 (like a lot of others). Long story short, I wind up losing the browser altogether -- including all bookmarks. Why? Because neither the Firefox homepage (or CNET downloads) makes it clear that 4.0 is for OS 10.5 only! Amazing!
Then I try to register to post a reply in a thread that crits Firefox for not making this System Requirements info upfront clear. But the Register page I’m taken to (https://support.mozilla.com/bs/users/register) is in SERBO-CROATIAN!!
Then I try to log into Chat a couple of times and when it’s not CLOSED its a long line waiting and THEN it closes.
WOW!! Are the wheels off the wagon here or what!?!

OSX 10.4 isn't the only limiting factor that you have, Firefox 4+ versions need an Intel processor.

Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system. This doesn't work because Firefox is not a running process so I can't close it.

I don't use Firefox now because of this running problem. It started about a month ago. So when I access the task manager, Firefox does not show up in the running processes. Because of this, I can't end the task. I got tired and fed up of rebooting my computer just to use Firefox, so I just switched to IE8, and Opera and Google Chrome. I prefered Firefox but it also runs so so sooooo slowly now. IE is much much faster, as are the other browsers now. Once upon a time, I bragged to everyone about how fast Firefox used to be, where now I admit I don't use it because it's so slow now and it won't run anyway.

Seeing it in context and in our browsers is much easier to debug.
If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

I am having exactly the same problem. This worked on all versions of Firefox up until mid last week. It started failing on Wednesday, coincident with the installation of Firefox 8.0 (see attached gif showing the automatic update on that date).
To fix the problem, you have to shut down Firefox 8.0 on one account, switch to the other account and then you can run it there.
If Firefox 8.0 is running on on account, the other account will run Firefox, but when you enter an URL it waits for quite a while then reports "The connection was reset. The connection was reset while the page was loading".
We also use Thunderbird 8.0 and it does not exhibit this problem, and works at the same time as Firefox 8.0. I suspect they might share some components.
I'd be happy to supply more details if needed.
