Firefox 4 does not responds to pinching and zooming gestures on Macbook

Previous Firefox 3 , i was able to enlarge text size by using 2 finger gesture on my MacBook touchpad, But it does not work on FF4.

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.
browser.gesture.pinch.in -> cmd_fullZoomReduce
browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset
browser.gesture.pinch.out -> cmd_fullZoomEnlarge
browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset
browser.gesture.pinch.latched -> false
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

When I click to enlarge an image in eBay, Firefox does not respond.

I open up Firefox and go to the eBay website. I click on an item to view the listing. I then click on the image, or the 'Enlarge' icon to view a larger version of the image. The problem is that Firefox does not respond. It comes up with "javascript;" in the little dialogue box that pops up in the bottom left corner.
When I use Internet Explorer, I don't have the problem. Could anyone suggest what is wrong?

Weird issue: my ipod lost all its music, itunes does not respond to ipod, and itunes itself becomes unresponsive, and then I cannot open itunes again after I forcefully close it

I just don't understand how all these problems roll into one issue. One day my ipod was unresponsive so i reset it and then all the songs disappeared. That happended before, but it became fine after I connected to itunes, but once I connect it to itunes it pops up but itunes is loading for etenrity and does not respond. If I close if forcefully then itunes won't open at all. cursor indicates loading for a second and then stops.
What is this?

When i said reboot, I meant "restarts my Ipod".

Firefox does not respond when trying to upload photos or files to Facebook, Google+, or similar sites.

When trying to upload photos to various websites, Firefox brings up the pop up to view and select locations on your computer, but it never fully loads, it just kinda freezes, never allowing you to select files. I eventually get a 'This program is not responding' message and have to force close.

Maybe the link I had 1st time had a bug or something... I had installed it, restarted computer and all, exactly same process... and it had done nothing.
But download page wasn't the same. Real weird.
Good thing is, now it works!

On ebay, firefox will not respond to "shipping and payment" and "read more" links. no problem using IE.

when on Ebay and looking at an auction, the links for 'shipping and payment' and 'read more' (in the item specifics block) do not respond. all other links on auction pages work. and they also work using IE. this is the only website that i have this problem with.
i did a refresh of Firefox, but the problem persists.

Firefox does not open at all and crashes. What is wrong?

Up until recently Firefox was working fine. When I try to open Firefox no window opens, no page loads, all I get it the crash reporter telling me that Firefox had a problem and crashed. I have un-installed and re-installed Firefox once thinking this would help. It didn't. The only thing I can think of is that it might be my Norton software. Even then I had Norton before Firefox started crashing.
