FireFox 4 - why are my app tabs large and why do I not have a new app tab - the one with the plus symbol

I just downloaded FireFox 4 and my tab bar at the top does not look like it should. The tabs are all large, I want just a small tab. I'm also missing the new tap - the one with the plus symbol.

I just installed Firefox 4 and I had the same problem. To fix this is simple. You must drag the "add tab" from the modify toolbar options. If you do not see the add tab from within the modify toolbar options container. It's probably that it's already resting on the personal toolbar (just below the home icon). If so, drag the add tab icon to the main tab toolbar and the plus (+) tab will apear.

Phoenix and Firebird were what Firefox was called before Firefox was settled on in 2004, and both used "birds" as the logo. IIRC, the dinosaur was used in the Mozilla Suite.

Thank you for your question. It sounds like you are seeing some graphical issues when you boot your iPad at the Apple logo. I had a couple of recomendations for you to try. First, reset your iPad:
Reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

I'm guessing "ash" is the silver colored keyboard, the same color as the rest of the MBP? If so, that machine, with the optical drive slot on the front, is the older machine.

Why are some InDesign previews large and others small?

I seem to save the individual files out (they are the same physical dimensions) yet some have large previews in Bridge and others have small previews in Bridge. Any ideas? Thanks!

It seems to be connected to whether or not you saved Preview images when you originally saved the files.
Re-opening and re-saving in CS4 should solve the problem.

They are all part of one Section. Just as you do not (hopefully) rip pages out at random from books, the pages of a Section are linked by the text that flows from one to the other.
If you want to move or delete particular page/s Insert a Section Break at the end of the page before.

There is a good possibility that your trimming of the SIM card could have damaged it some way. If the SIM was working in the old phone, then you cut it and the first new phone didn't work and now this phone doesn't work, it leads me to believe it has to do with the SIM card or the account. You are sure there is no problem with the account. Did you check with the provider when you got the iPhone 4 to make sure there was no problem with the account when you could not send or receive SMS? Why can't you just get a micro-sim? The iPhone should have come with one when you purchased it.The iPhone 4 is designed for a micro-sim. I don't believe this is a hardware problem unless the phone has been hacked or modified in some manner.

If you take a ''Meter'' indicator (the one with the rainbow colored scale) to the FP and resize it above say 725x320 pixels the rainbows colors will suddenly change to three sectors of merely green, yellow and red.

Is this an artifact of my LabVIEW 6i on Mac G3? It is a rather cosmetic bug and I would like to know its range. In my case though, I would have liked to use a full monitor size single meter for large screen data projection.

The problem indeed seems to be limited to the Mac platform and senior LV developer Greg McKaskle posted the following explaination on info-labview:

How do I close just the top toolbar, the one with the create button and the Quick Tools?

Just upgraded from 9 to X.
The manual says, "When your work does not involve using the tools in a toolbar, you can close the toolbar to tidy up the work area." But then after that it only provides instructions on how to hide all toolbars. I want to have only one row of tool visible, not two, and I can work best with the Common Tools toolbar. So how do I close the other one?

Would you please be more explicit? I have tried dragging the "Create" and "Customize Quick Tools" buttons from the top row to the second row and they don't drag. I've tried dragging the buttons on the second row into the top row and they don't drag. I've tried dragging the rows themselves into each other and outside the window to see if I could get one to diappear, and they don't drag. So would you please state specifically what is possible in order to reduce the two rows of the toolbar to one row?
Especially if it's documented somewhere, that would be most helpful to see. But I'm also open to learning an undocumented method, if it works.

I have changed my Apple ID so that it would reflect my new email address. My Apple devices and icloud info do not display my new ID, even though I use the new one to log into iTunes, etc. How can I get this problem resolved so that I might feel confident

After changing my Apple ID I do not seem to be able to recognize it as my proper ID. It does work properly for an iTunes login and password, but, it is not displayed that way on my device when I look at my iCloud settings and other "system level" settings.
How do I correct this to be confident that I can use a feature, such as "Find My iPhone" and know that the functions and contact info is correct?

To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.

Why are my slide shows disappearing and drop down menus not working?

I have a huge problem with clients currently waiting on a response from us.
We have created a website with MUSE, we have implemented slideshows and drop down menus which work fine when you preview them.
HOWEVER, once we put an editor in place for the client to then input their content onto the website, all of the slideshows disappear and the drop down menus no longer work!?
What do I do to rectify this problem??

This actually did work... But, I have figured out that the issue is really in IE7... and for whatever reason the code was making IE8 go into compatability mode (essentially using IE7).
