Firefox 5.0 does not open link into new window
Firefox 5.0 does not open link into new tab. I have a netbook also and tab options work fine, links open into a new window. However on this Dell it does not work. Tab options in Firefox and Google are set right, but don't work that way. Running Windows 7 on Dell, Windows Starter on netbook.
The Template .dwt file is only used locally by DW itself, there's no reason to upload it to the server unless you intend to share it with someone. You have to upload each individual page that the Template updates, every time you update the template and propagate that change across the child pages.
It would probably be better to use a server side include. That way, you could update one file then upload it and all of your pages would automatically carry that update...

all of a sudden im unable to attach files in any of the websites. Im using firefox version 30 and when I click to attach file it does not open up a new window where we can choose the file from my computer. It happens almost in all websites that I use (gmail, dropbox, other websites).

please check if this problem appears as well when you try to download a file, does this happen again when you try to download a file?
if so there must be a problem with your HDD controler, to solve this issue follow th steps:
1.Right Click on My Computer, Select Properties
2.Click on Device Manager in Top Left corner
3.expand the IDA/ATI/ATAPI controllers
4.right click on the one which is related to your HDD
5.click on Uninstall
6.Restart
when you restart your windows the OS will try to install the drivers again, if this happens then restart again and check if the problem is solved, if no try to install the HDD drivers and related drivers manually and then restart your machine -
Firefox does not open links in new tab
Using Firefox 3.6.15 with XPPro, if I click on a link in Google (or on this site for that matter), it will not open a new tab. In the past, I had no such problem before 3..6.16.
My husband is using Firefox 3.6.15 with XPHome and his does open links in new tab.
I have not added any new toolbars sin updating to 3.6.15. Only use the Roboform toobar and Firefox's.
I thought this might have something to do with Google, which I think used to have an option to open links in a new page, but can't find any such options on Google search page now.Maybe it is a conflict between Vimperator and a TabMix-like extension?
I am not sure but go check your tab related perfs and add-on options may help.

I am using Vimperator. so far so good, and i like it. i have one problem here. when i mark some links with the command ";ab,act", for example, it does not open the links in new tabs. I also use the command f and F to mark the links in a website but cannot open the link in a new tab.

Target for a .pdf with the link target _blank does not open in a new window.
I have a simple html document with links to .pdf documents all set to _blank but only one opens in a new window. The others open as _self. Changing the target doesn't seem to make a difference.

When I click on firefox in taskbar, it does not open in a new window and shows previews.
I have firefox 14 and windows 7. firefox is pinned to taskbar. When I click on the firefox icon in taskbar, I want it to open in a separate window and not show preview.
Yes. Thank you. Tutorial solves half the problem. The firefox icon no longer shows previews but I am still unable to open a new window by clicking on it. I would like the icon to open a separate window every time I click on it. Instead, it opens only 1 window. Please help. Thank you.

Earlier F crashed, crashed etc. Now it does not start.
I have checked viruses etc.
When I started a new loading, no questions of add-ons or anything.Do a clean (re)install of the latest Firefox version and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data because all profile folders will be removed.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
You may need to remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Firefox won't left-click open links in new window
Since I've had Firefox, it's by default opened external links (i.e. something sent in an e-mail, etc.) in a new window by left-clicking. Two days ago it stopped doing that and I can't figure out how to make it work again. I can right click, then scroll down to open in new window or open in new tab, so it's not completely debilitating, but it's the way my kids and I have gotten used to working it, and we'd prefer to keep it that way.
I've already tried disabling add-ons and uninstalling/reinstalling, with no success.

Clicking on the Now Playing does not open in a new window
When you click on the artwork in the Now Playing fieild in the lower left corner, a window should pop up that displays the artwork. Mousing over it shows the controls. When I click on it, it shows a new window is open on my taskbar, but it doesn't display on my desktop. Does anyone have a solution to my problem. I have iTunes 10.6.1.7

Using firefox 14.0.1. Loading a link using right-click and "Open Link In New Window", results in new window opening but address bar does not show URL. However, if I right click on a link and select "Open Link In New Tab", the Tab shows URL in address bar. So it's working when it's a New Tab but not a New Window.
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

I have problem with my Firefox Developer Edition. The browser does not open links correctly. If I click on some link e.g. in Thunderbird Firefox open only blank (default) window. No target of given link. Has anyone an idea how to solve this issue?

Open link in new window will not work
I am running Firefox 3.6.12 on Windows XP and have never had a problem until just recently. If I right click and select "open link in new window", a new window will open, but it is blank. This started about a week ago while playing Pogo...the game rooms will not load because they open in a new window. Now I am noticing that it is with everything, not just Pogo.
I have tried checking and unchecking the "block pop-ups" option and the new windows will not load either way.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

"Open Link in new window" not working with OBIEE 10.1.3.4
Hi All,
Recently we upgraded from Siebel Analytics to OBIEE 10.1.3.4.
In OBIEE Go to Settings > Administration > Managae Interactive Dashboard > Select any Dashboard > Right Click on Properties tab > Open Link in New window:
This throws an error saying "javascript:void(null)".
In Siebel Analytisc the above functionality used to work.
Does anyone knows thereason behind this?
