Google Toolbar is an addon, and every addon has a maximum version number set by the addon developers. Google Toolbar apparently is compatible with Firefox 5, and the only reason it doesn't work is because the Google developers have not updated their toolbar's maximum version number. You can either wait for them to do so, or follow the directions at the link above to change the number yourself.

Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:

But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.
With SilverLight, Microsoft attempted to create their own version of what a replacement for Flash could be - but not to universal acclaim. You can read more about it here:

So, if you go to any sites that have been designed for this new Silverlight stuff, you can download the plug-in from here (but make certain that you are downloading SilverLight v.1.0 for OS X (10.4.8 upwards) if you are using a PPC Mac, but even this will not work with Safari 4. Version 2 only works with Intel Macs and does work with Safari 4/5. The solution is to download and install the latest version of Flip4Mac, which now includes a Silverlight component:

The new firefox 33.1 and 34 are not compatible with my school Blackboard account
I have used Firefox since it was first introduced. I prefer it to MS Explorer. However the new Firefox, 33.1 and 34 are not compatible with my school Blackboard account, so I had to delete Firefox and use Explorer. I would prefer to use Firefox. Is an earlier version (Prior to 33.1) still available?
It's been a few years since we have had many questions about Blackboard compatibility with Firefox, but overall the problems in that past had to do with either Blackboard not updating in a timely manner ''[which I don't think is the case any longer]'' OR the school wasn't running the latest version of Blackboard software ''[which considering the current state of many government budgets, may be the case now.]''.

My advice is to install Firefox Portable ESR to your hard drive for use at that Blackboard website and continue to use Firefox 34 for other purposes. I don't think it's possible if you are stuck in recovery mode but I may be wrong...
Since your device qualifies for iOS 8(.1), that is the version that will be downloaded/restored to the iPad.
I do know that you can restore your iPad (from backup & as new) and keep the same iOS version if you restore using the iPad itself under Settings/Reset/Erase All Content and Settings but since you can't access this because your stuck in recovery mode, the point is moot.
Have you tried downloading the update in the middle of the night (2 am or so) where dropouts are much less likely to occur?
It's always possible to take your device in to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar reservation first) and do the iOS update there in the Apple Store.. I'm sure they will gladly help you out with it and not charge you a thing. The trouble with that would be if you don't have an Apple Store nearby.

My G5 PowerPC still works great, but what is the latest OS that is possible. I just bought a new HP Printer and it is not compatible with OS 10.4. Is there any hope?
A PPC G5 cannot run any version of OS X beyond Leopard 10.5.8.
You should be able to find a Leopard retail (black) install disk on eBay. A grey update disk is machine specific and won't work. -
I installed version 3.6.13 and discovered that my favorite search engines (Bing and Startpage) were not compatible with this version. Can this incompatibility be rectified?

Are any of your other applications going wonky, or is it just Logic?
I'm afraid I've never heard of this particular problem before, but if it were happening to me the first thing I would do is delete my "com.apple.logic.express.plist" file in Library>Preferences, then repair permissions in Disc Utility, and finally restart my computer. Then I would launch Logic and see if the problem has been corrected. It's amazing how much these two steps can accomplish.
If that doesn't resolve the issue I would launch Logic and go to Preferences>Audio Units Manager to see if all my plug-ins are properly validated. -

I have always updated firefox until version 6 which I uninstalled and now I have version 4. Version 6 was not compatible with several extensions such as adobe flashplayer, some java.... too many. Version 7 will have the same problems? I will not update my version if those problems continue.
Thank youPlugins (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins) like the Adobe Flash player and the Java plugin are not affected by updating and should still be working.
Extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like the Java Console extension have a minimum and maximum version and may get disabled.<br />
Extensions are provided by third-party developers and it may take some time to have them updated or the creator may decide to stop the support for the new Firefox version and abandon the extension like happened with the Google Toolbar. -
Cannot update to 3.5 on older MacPro and 3.5 not compatible with 3.4.5
It appears that you cannot update Aperture to 3.5 on older Macs. Worse yet the new update is not compatible with the previous version.

I have multiple computers I use to work on my photography.
I use a older Mac Pro Vintage late 2007 that cannot be updated beyond OS 10.7.5. This is currently my primary photo computer.
With 3ghz Quad cores and over a terabyte of drive space no need to update yet except for not being able to load the latest OS.
I also use a MacBookPro Vintage Late 2011 and it was just updated to Mavericks. I use this to edit my photos on the go.
I will consider updating to the latest Mac Pro when it becomes available but what to do until then and a warning to others.Actually, I had this same problem - accidentally upgraded my library on my Mac Air to 3.5, but am not running Aperture 3.5 on any of my other, older Macs. I *was* able to downgrade the library back to 3.4.5. BAsically, I had to open the library on a computer running Aperture 3.4.5 in library repair mode (holding down command and option when opening). In the ensuing dialog I had to choose to rebuild the library. I first tried just repairing, and it seemed to work, but next time I opened Aperture I got the "library can't be opened iwth an older version of Aperture" message. Rebuilding it seems to have done the trick.

Having restored the library to 3.4.5 format, I downgraded Aperture on my Air to 3.4.5 as well and it's been smooth sailing. Just make sure you have Mavericks set up to *NOT* automatically update your apps, or you'll end up in the same situtation all over again when it silently upgrades Aperture to 3.5 again.

Found workaround for that problem.
# Open up the about:config page (type it in the address bar and enter) and then right-click anywhere in the about:config page and choose New –> Boolean.
# Write extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0 and make it false.
What it does, is disables automatic compatibility checking from firefox, so you could still use your older add-ons that are not compatible with firefox 4.

Flash is not supported on the iPad - and as Adobe have never managed to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices, and they have recently announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be

Just downloaded Firefox4 and can't read the top line menu because it's in some strange language with symbols instead of letters. How do I get it to display English in the top line menu?
If I could read the menu, I'd go to tools and see if there were an option to change the menu language, but since I can't read the menu choices, I'd only be pushing meaningless buttons.
