Firefox 6 doesnt display correctly on my 42" widescreen at resolution 1600x1024

I recently bought a 42" widescreen and set my resolution to its native 1600x1024 and now the page is shrunk in the center of the screen making it very difficult to read. I dont have any issues with Internet Explorer or any of my other programs. all my drivers are up to date. please help with a solution soon thank you.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad2 doesnt display correct character when pressing Shift + number

I have an Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad2. It will not type the correct character when pressing SHIFT + most of the number keys. (SHIFT + 1 and SHIFT + 4 display correctly with ! and $). The iPad was updated to iOS 8.1.2 yesterday, but that did not aleviate the problem.
Suggestions??

Javascript doesnt display correctly in Safari 1.3.2

I'm a fledgling web designer, and developed a site for an artist. An associate of mine provided me with a php script for a thumbnail viewer, with a scrollbar on the left for viewing the thumbnails -- when you click on a tn, the image appears larger in the viewer window.
Safari 1.3.2 makes the thumbnails run off the bottom of the page and enlarges the viewer module instead of displaying the scrollbar. (As luck would have it, that's the browser my client uses.)
Is there a fix that will make Safari 1.3.2 display my viewer correctly?

Firefox not displaying correctly. (DIV Tags)

Evening all,
I'm writing this website for a uni project (www.lsweb.co.uk)
and am having some trouble with displaying some of the data. Looks
great in internet explorer but firefox is causing me some issues.
Specifically, some of the heading logo's don't display properly and
cover up other text on the other side of the page?!
Both the html and CSS is validated using w3c validator so
don't understand why it doesn't work. Can anyone offer any advice?

Firefox Not Displaying Correctly

I'm a relatively new user of Dreamweaver and I have a problem
that is driving me up a wall! I built a website for a client that
is showing up fine in Safari and Internet Explorer but for some
reason it's missing the background color in FireFox. Any ideas on
what causes that and is it fixable? All the pages are built off a
template which has CSS associated with it. I've played with all the
style sheets and can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be
much appreciated.

Youtube doesnt display correctly

EA 2.1 desc of altered type doesnt display correct result

In SQL developer I created a type:
CREATE TYPE d AS VARRAY(10) OF NUMBER(5,2);
TYPE D compiled
And then a table based on the type
CREATE TABLE e (kx d);
CREATE TABLE succeeded.
Then i altered the type:
ALTER TYPE d MODIFY ELEMENT TYPE NUMBER(7,3)
CASCADE NOT INCLUDING TABLE DATA;
ALTER TYPE d succeeded.
When i then describe type D in SQL Developer i get a strange result:

This is not an EA2 issue nor indeed deemed to be a bug.
We had a bug logged initial on being able to support describing Types in the SQL Worksheet and then on making this the same as in SQL*Plus. The bug dates back to the initial days of SQL Developer. The outcome and subsequent closure of the bug is to support more detail, as you have seen, in SQL Developer, than that provided in SQL*Plus, with the conclusion that the DDL is deemed more beneficial than the result given by SQL*Plus.

I haven't had this issue. I'd download a program such as Media Monkey to see what the resolution of artwork is. Generally an image that is 600X600 will be of excellent quality in iTunes. Other than that, it could be a rare bug.
Have you tried removing the artwork from one song/audiobook and right clicking on it and choose "Get album artwork" to see if that resolves the issue?

Jlist not displaying correctly when populated by thread

Hi, I have this problem when a thread attempts to populat a Jlist, it will only populate sometimes. Othertimes, it doesnt display correctly. The model will have the correct objects in it, but the display on screen will not appear. I have some code below that demonstrates the problem. I renger html in the Jlist just so that its easier to see, but doesnt have to be html.

When you push the button, sometimes the list will come out correctly and sometimes it wont. Anyone know how to get it to display correctly? I tries all sort of things with InvokeLater, validates, repaints, etc. I cant get anything to get it to display properly.

I think this is closer to what you wanted.
Your sample code if obviously simple enough not to need it, but this allows you to thread off the work and the use invokeLater only to push the results back to the UI/event thread.

How do I save a PDF in Adobe so it displays correctly in the default Firefox reader?

I have seen discussions on how to change your own settings in Firefox so PDFs display correctly (Viewing PDF documents in Firefox 19+) however I am looking for a solution on how to save PDFs so they display correctly within the default new Firefox reader. Our PDFs are looking bad and I can't go into each clients browser settings and fix (http://www.cherrybekaertbenefits.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/ACA_Infographic_072114.pdf). Are their any settings within the Acrobat Distiller that will fix this without the viewer having to go into their own settings?

We haven't had many PDF experts or Adobe Illustrator users posting tips here; those might be sprinkled around on other forums, blogs, or support sites.
I did notice when viewing the PDF properties in Adobe Reader that the PDF was created with Optimize for Fast Web View enabled. This is a feature that allows for progressive rendering of PDFs over a slow connection ([http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/optimize-native-pdf-file-sizes.html#main_Optimize_for_Fast_Web_View_option]). Could you try re-generating the PDF with that feature disabled to see whether it makes a difference?

How can I get Firefox 4 to correctly display CSS padding for a horizontal nav bar (works in most other browsers, incl. earlier FF)?

I have just coded a horizontal nav bar for a site with CSS rollover effects using a:hover and a: focus effects. There are no images, just HTML and CSS. The layout works beautifully in IE 6 - 8, Safari for Windows, Opera for Windows...and Firefox 3.X but behaves poorly in Firefox 4. I've hardly ever had problems with FF before. :(

The rollovers extend below the height of the background div and the extra padding on the first and last li tag don't display correctly either. The page passes WebDeveloper toolbar CSS and HTML validation as well.

CSS : Website not displaying correctly in IE 7 , ok in Firefox and IE8

I am a newbie designing my new site with CS4. This is my first post to forum, although I have read many helpful hints while proceeding.
I will be grateful for resolving a quirky issue.
My website http://www.chezshuchi.com is not displaying correctly in IE7. IT is displaying correctly in most other browsers. The HTML validation is fine. I think there is some issue with CSS, but I am not able to find it despite spending much time. Will appreciate input.
