Firefox 6 has disabled my AVG update facility - please help
After downloading Firefox 6 a message told me that an add-on 'AVG safesearch' was incompatible with Firefox 6 and had been disabled. This means I cannot update my antivirus protection/ internet security. AVG have advised me to restore a browser earlier than Firefox 5. Please tell me how to do this.
Is this like the Pinterest "Pin It" button you drag from a link on the site to your Bookmarks Toolbar?
(1) Make sure the toolbar is displayed
Alt+v (opens classic View menu) > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar
(2) Search in case the button moved
Open the Library (Bookmarks Organizer) dialog using Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks or press Ctrl+Shift+b.
Enter clip in the search box at the top. Does the missing button it show up anywhere? It might need to be moved back to its rightful location.
(3) Drag the button again
I'm not registered, so I can't confirm this, but in theory this page has the button: http://www.clipix.com/clipboards.aspx?param=showClipButton

All buttons in Firefox have dissappeared after a PC optimization software- please help!
I am using Windows 7 on a Toshiba laptop.
I used AVG's PC clean-up as a trial (no longer have access to it).
During the process, I chose to turn off blinking and revolving content on Firefox (thinking I was turning off those annoying ads).
Now, all of my 'buttons' are just blank boxes. I use gmail: the star option on the inbox has disappeared. The 'send', 'spam', 'trash', etc above the email- those are just blank boxes (they still do work though- I just have to move over them to get the explanation to see what they are). This is not the case with the 'star' however.
I have been all over settings, and have tried the JAVA advanced.
I think this must be something set outside of Firefox. Internet Explorer runs fully functional.
Please help. I really do not want to have to re-install Firefox as I don't want to lose all of my saved passwords and bookmarks.Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. 3. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
4. Select the Summary tab.
5. Select the Restore option.

necessary to create another.

iPhone do not do automatic update. You have to manually trigger the updates.
If your Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads > Music, Apps, Books are ON then when you purchase any new content/item with any devices/computer iTunes, it will automatically download. Switch it OFF if you do not want that to happen. -

A redemption code can only be redeemed once. It is used to acquire a serial number. The serial number is what you need to activate the installed software. If you did not keep the serial number when you first installed, you might still be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the software.

Is your iPhone connected to your computer using the lightning cable or are you doing WiFi sync?
Sometimes the iPhone doesn't show up in the side bar if you're using WiFi syncing, if its not working, then be connected to your WiFi on your phone and on your computer (Same network) let me know how it's going, if it doesn't work still. Turn your phone off and on again and put in your pass code then try to sync it (keep your phone unlocked and not in sleep mode) tel me if it appears in the side bar. -
How do I update my iOS? I have the iPad 1 and have tried over and over to try and update the iOS version to iOS 5.1, nothing works it will start updating then say that it did not update? PLEASE HELP!!! P.s I'm running newest version of iTunes.
Connect your iPad to your computer and let iTunes back up your iPad. After it does that disconnect it and go into your settings under general and under reset and select erase all content. After you do that reconnect to your computer, open iTunes and follow the screen options to set up your iPad as new. Once it is done doing that see if you have the latest version of iOS installed and if it does then either download gain the apps you had before or restore them from the backup made previous.

I upgraded to a newer version of Firefox last month around June 14 th time frame and I lost ALL my bookmarks, these are very Important to me , I have tried everything that was suggested online and now would like to know if there is anything Firefox can do to get my bookmarks back, Please help me.
