Firefox is not loading specific websites for me. Sites like Facebook, Ebay, Google, and Netflix refuse to open, or even acknowledge me pressing the Enter key when I type in the address or click a link to that site. Practically every other site works perfectly fine. I did not change any settings or download any new addons prior to this problem, it just started happening. I have done everything I can find in the forums; resetting firefox, clearing cache and cookies, making network settings use no proxy, reinstalling, and today I uninstalled Firefox, updated and scanned my computer with all 3 software I use (AVG, Malwarebytes, and Spybot), found no issues, restarted my computer, and reinstalled a freshly downloaded Firefox setup without importing any settings or doing anything other than a totally clean install, and still nothing. Chrome and IE still are able to access every site perfectly fine. I have no idea what the issue is or how to fix it, as I've tried everything I know and could research.
Hi There,
Sorry to hear of your issue. I found a great article for you to read and explain how to fix your issue. I hope this hope :)

After making sure my plug-ins were updated, firefox 5.0.1 hangs/freezes when loading web pages.
I changed the setting, but unfortunately, this didn't fix the problem. This situation does seem to occur more, when I load or reload my eBay home page. I noticed that all data and information would go ahead and load, but the random ads bar would not immediately load and when I would left click anywhere on the page, Firefox would temporarily freeze, the page turns white, Firefox not responding will display, and then the banner would load and everything is fine. I'm wondering if it has something to do with my Flash Player. Any additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Reggie

My crash problem has been going on for week, now. I tried uninstalling FF and reinstalling it. I hoped that would fix the problem, but it didn't. Crashes occur randomly, when loading or reloading pages but they are NOT specific pages. The Report ID listed below is just 1 of several reports from the past week.
I am unwilling to attempt navigation away from these sites. The pop-ups that occur on the attempt to leave a site or to close the browser are exit traps offering incentive to stay.
Once upon a time, when the internet was less dangerous, I would be willing to close the exit pop-ups. Now, after twice being infected with malware trying to close the pop-ups, I now force close whichever browser I am using.
Recently, I clicked on the red X to close one pop-up, and it installed a trojan that I had to pay to be removed. When I clicked on 'Leave' in another exit pop, it didn't exit and it turned out I was giving permission to run a script file. Now that criminals have learned these exit pop-ups can be used to force a click action, the sites using them have become dangerous.
If I force the browser to close using Task manager, Please tell me how to stop FireFox from sending me directly back to the same site because it mistakenly believes it crashed when it did not. I forced it to close because I was on a site that had taken control of my browser and was not allowing me to leave the site.
No other browser sends me back to the potentially dangerous sites. I prefer Firefox, but the new version must have a setting that allows me to get safely away from a problem site? -
Firefox 5 craches when loading any website, even in safe mode
Every time after I opening Firefox 5, if I don't enter any links its works. but few second after I entered a link and firefox begins to load it, Firefox is not responding to anything. this problems happens even when I open Firefox in safe mode.
I don't know anything more about it, ther is no message about crach, there is no reports in about:crashes, its just hanging every time. Please read the [[Basic Troubleshooting]] article to try and narrow down the cause.

When I click on the "Get Netflix App" button, iTunes opens with the following error message, "Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the Thai store." Would like iTunes to recognize I'm in the states, not Thailand.
Try this:
1. App Store>Featured>Apple ID (at bottom of page)
2. Tap on Apple ID>View Apple ID
4. Enter your password
5. Country/Region>Change Country or Region -
Can not sign in cause itunes thinks I'm still logged in when I am not
I authorized my laptop tonight and downloaded itunes without moving over my music via the Ipod only the purchased songs. I then logged out and went back to my desktop only to be told I could not since I am using the account elesewhere even though I logged out of the store and exited the program. Now I can not sync my Ipod on my desktop where all my playlist are located.

Firefox crashing when loading certain websites
Hi All,
After updating my firefox to the latest version (3.6.12), the browser frequently crashes on cerain websites. In particular, when i visit www.scottishproperty.co.uk. I think it may be flash related but im not sure.
I have tried the following but it has not solved the issue:
1. Followed the artice on this site for firefox crashing on certain pages
2. Uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it
3. sent error reports to firefox - but when i go to About:crashes no reports are show.
Can anyone please advise?
When i try the same url in IE, it works as normal. If you still have problems with crashes please
# read the article: [[firefox crashes]]
# if you have problems with crashes and are using Fireox's safe mode
#* please navigate to'' about:crashes''
#* post a couple of recent CrashIDs into your next message
Are you restricted to using Firefox in [[safe mode]] in order to prevent crashes? -
When I go to certain sites on the web which have search boxes, Firefox will pop up the onscreen keyboard as the page load completes, without me doing anything to focus the search box. It's annoying to have to tell the keyboard to go away each time before I can navigate in the page.
I specified the device I am using (Galaxy Tab 2 7 inch) because it uses a nonstandard keyboard applet, called simply the Samsung Keyboard, which could be doing something different than the regular Android one. I don't have the option of switching to the stock Android keyboard. That won't help iamjayakumars. That pref blocks popup windows on load. The keyboard is not a popup window.
This behavior happens because the website sets focus to a text box on the page. Firefox is following the standard behavior for desktop browsers. -
Firefox is crashing when loading specific pages.
I've tried disabling and re-enabling each plugin, I've downloaded the newest version of Firefox, and ''nsBrowserOpt.dll'' doesn't seem to be the problem. My computer recently (like two hours ago, haha) crashed and rebooted using Microsoft System Recover with a recovery date of February, if that has anything to do with it--prior to the computer crashing, Mozilla had a lot of hang-ups, but no crashing. I suspect malware, but I'm really not at all sure, because Norton keeps coming up with that little window that says "A recent attempt to attack your computer has been blocked." which is slightly unsettling. But I don't know where to go from there.
I'm really terrible at computers.http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_crashes#Yahoo.21_Application_State

op system windows 7+sp1
You can usually find the imported IE Favorites in a folder ("From Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks).
If you can't find them in the "From Internet Explorer" folder then try this:
* Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
* Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File

the application seems to be : static-cdn.addons.mozilla.net
From the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network ▹ Advanced... ▹ DNS
Under DNS Servers you should have one or more numerical addresses, such as “192.168.1.1” or “10.0.0.1”. What are those addresses? -
I go to Option > Content, and then tick the box "Block pop-up windows", but I still receive popups when I visit websites like kojaxx.com and bookmarkitnow.com. Why?

My iTunes account on this MacBook Air laptop thinks I am still in Japan where I used it once. But I've been in Africa,UK, and US since, so I can't price or purchase anything on it other than in Japanese Yen. How do I get it to offer prices in USD?
I answered my own question. It was necessary to log in to my iCloud which then recognized my location. Only took 2 months to find the answer from when the problem began )>:

Plug-ins, what's the point?
I don't understand the advantage of using a plug-in? The editing is on a version, not layered on the master (like Aperture edits are). Is seems the same as round trip editing in an external program, right? Why not just allow the Aperture user to add
