I am using Windows Vista , latest updates. I am using Firefox 3.6.24 and I am very satisfied with it. Some months ago, you offered me to download Firefox 4. I had done this. But afterwards, I could no longer see the TV on http://bugu.cntv.cn/ . Other people in China had said the same. I am learning Chinese and therefore do need to have this ChineseTV website. I reinstalled Firefox 3.6.24 and it works very well. Now in November 2011, after you had offered me several times Firefox 8.0, today I had installed Firefox 8.0 twice. But it is defective. Though now, it does play TV on http://bugu.cntv.cn/ . But the vertical scroll bar on the right side and the scroll bars in the middle on the monitor do not move (freezed) except when a website is enlarged on the whole monitor. The other problem is that Firefox 8.0 is slow, it is much slower than Firefox 3.6.24 . Please continue supporting Firefox 3.6.24 . It is better than Firefox 8.0.

The slow / hesitant scrolling problem seems to be an artifact of the database Firefox uses to keep track of where you go, what you do, etc. It uses sqlite databases which get fragmented over time.
There are several fixes:
Some are add-ons and work internally, such as Vacuum Places (search the addons for it).
Some are external. Speedyfox is one I just tried, and found to work quite well. I think it did a better job than Vacuum Places, but requires Firefox to be shut down before it can work properly.
Find Speedyfox using a web search.

Did you do a clean reinstall and deleted the Firefox program folder?

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

My Mac keeps freezing and is very slow

I have a 2.8GhZ 24" iMac. I've had it for about a year and a half, without a problem.
Then about a week ago it crashed for the first time. Ever since, it has been very slow and freezes regularly. Programs crash a lot.
Any ideas? Reasons? Solutions?

I have about 70% of my hard drive empty. I've given it a virus scan.
The disk is in the loft in the Mac's old box, so I won't get it now. But I'll give it a try.

Why don't you try these: ( might or might not help, but it's worth a try )
See what you have loading on your login items.
Open up activity momitor, under All Procesess, see what's using most of your CPU resources (%).
Hightlight the one using the highest % on the CPU then click on quit process and see if that works.
Once you're done with that, go to Disk Utility and do a verify disk. After that, do a verify disk permission and repair if needed.
See if that helps you.

I have had my Note 3 since about 14 months now and have loved it until the last Verizon update. Since the update my reception is very poor / "breaks up" in my shop. This is the same shop I have been working in for 6 YEARS!!! Also when I select a drop down tab like a credit card month and make my selection it NEVER saves the 1st time, always have to do it 2x. The internet used to work great in my shop and could stream Pandora without an issue, now it take 2 minutes to load the first song.
I feel these simple software issues could make people feel the need to upgrade their phone even though there is nothing wrong with their current phone, pretty creative sales tactic if you ask me. All I want is my phone to work like it did prior to the 1/16/2015 update. If I have change my ways and run my off wifi everywhere like I had to back when I had Sprint I might as well switch to a cheaper provider.
My time is money and wasting time trying to make a phone work like it did before a software update is very frustrating. I have already gone to a Verizon store and was told to do a complete reset. It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?

If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem. The backup is necessary on principle, not because of anything suggested in this comment. System resources monitor shows only 700MB (of 5GB allocated to Photoshop) RAM and 30% CPU is used to perform such tasks as healing brush. Process bar comes up and is painfully slow to complete the task. I don’t understand why does Photoshop not use all the resources available/allocated? No other programs are running at the time, I have tried all the suggestions on this forum and all over the Google. My brand new system is: Intel I7 4770K overclocked to 4.3GHz, 8GB 1600 RAM, Samsung PRO 120GB SSD system drive, 100GB scratch disk. The photos I usually work on don’t exceed 20MB in size. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks

I have not mentioned the GPU because the processes I described (as far as I know) are not supposed to be using GPU resources. So far I have not been able to afford the GPU i want which is GTX770, so I use Intel 4600 built in graphics instead. To be honest I find, that 4600 graphics is quite powerful. I am able to play Mass Effect 3 on Full spec on max res without game slowing down. And Windows 7 64bit index score is 7.8 for the 4600 graphics. Overall index score is 7.8 on my PC righ now.
I'll try to get the Photoshop system info as soon as possible.

When I try to play a video it is ok when it is in the small box in the corner but when i double click and get the video larger it skips alot and play very slow, but when I make the video full screen it play normally. How can I play the video in the mid size box in the right way.

I'm having the same problem (iTunes 11.02!) .
I think this one isn't resolved because it IS rare: I've had iTunes on about 7 different machines (Mac and PC) since it begain (2001). In fact I maintain the same library without issues for over 10 years. Anyway this is the first time it's occurred (in my case it's happened on a pretty recent Mac Laptop). But as you may have discovered, google/bing searches for similar problems yeild VERY few results.
A guy at the Apple store was able to temporarily fix by doing some low level cache removal, that may give a glimpse to the reason, but is not a permanent fix.
I'm going to try a few things will report back if I have any luck**.

Please powercycle your modem and computer: Unplug from power > Leave off for 10 - 15 mins > then Plug back in and re start. This will often force a line update through to your modem advising the signal is restored.

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help with device errors. You may want to consider restoring your device to factory settings to resolve the issues you've described:
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
Restoring iOS software deletes all your data and content from your device, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar info.
Before you restore your device
Make sure you’re using the latest version of iTunes.
Use iTunes to back up your device. Transfer and sync any additional content to your computer.
Turn off Find My iPhone in Settings > iCloud on your device to disable Activation Lock.
Restore your iOS device
Connect your iOS device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes. In the Summary panel, click Restore.
Click Restore again to confirm that you want to restore your device to factory settings and delete all data and content. iTunes will download the iOS software file and restore your iOS device.
