Firefox 9.0.1 replaced FF logo in toolbar with a pencil/ruler/pen. Why? It's confusing.
Just updated to FF 9.0.1. All by itself it changed the Fox logo in my toolbar to a generic-looking pencil and brush over a ruler on a blank page logo. {Would attach a screen-shot but there's no way to do so} Why have a logo that suggests a graphics program rather than Firefox browser? It's confusing.

Thanks for the reply. I knew to do what you suggested and already did it immediately after I posted my question. Thanks for your kind reply anyway.
I guess the real question is how such a thing happened. I have updated "protection" through MacKeeper and it indicated no virus/malware etc. so it was disconcerting that the FF icon in my toolbar was somehow replaced. Where would the replacement icon even come from? I looked through all my Applications and it was from none of them. The "solution" fixes the symptom rather than the cause. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.

hi i tried to replace the oracle logo with my custom logo......but still tht logo is not appearinmg........i followed the steps mentioned in the following note in metalink......can u tell me wht went wrong.i have also attached my config settings in formsweb.cfg.
You can either replace the Oracle logo with your custom logo, or just
delete the Oracle logo. Both of these options are described below.
Replacing the Oracle Logo with a Custom Logo
============================================
Forms 6i(6.0.8.8 or above), has a new look when using the Oracle
lookAndFeel parameter. An Oracle logo appears in the menu when you run
the form on web. The logo is visible, even if you use a default menu
or custom menu.
Follow this procedure to that logo with your custom logo:
1) Backup the following files:
oracle_home/forms60/java/f60all.jar
oracle_home/forms60/java/forms/icons/oracle_logo.gif
2) Create your custom logo in gif format and rename it to oracle_logo.gif
3) Copy your gif to the oracle_home/forms60/java/forms/icons directory.
4) Open the f60all.jar in WinZip.
5) Find a file called oracle_logo.gif in the archive and delete it.
6) Create the following directory structure:
c:\oracle\forms\icons
7) Copy your custom logo(renamed to oracle_logo.gif) to:
c:\oracle\forms\icons.
8) In WinZip, choose Add a file, then select the oracle_logo.gif from:
c:\oracle\forms\icons
9) Add the file to the f60all.jar archive and close the jar file.
10) Stop and restart your forms server.
11) Clear the cache from your browsers.
Now when you run the form on the web, your custom logo will appear in
place of the Default Oracle logo.
Removing the Oracle Logo from the Menu
======================================
Use one of the following methods to remove the Oracle logo from the
menu:
-- If you do not need to use the "Oracle" lookAndFeel, use the
"generic" lookAndFeel. When you use the generic look and feel, you
do not see the Oracle logo in the menu. However, you do see the
canvas in the windows default gray color. Also, the menu toolbar
icons are gray.
-- If you want to retain the Oracle look and feel but remove the
Oracle logo only, add the following parameter in your html file,
or add it in your URL:

For example, in Netscape:
lookAndFeel="Oracle"
Logo="no"
For example, in IE:

Solution Explanation

u can try making your own .jar with your icons inside and put it on the3 forms60/java directory.
Include also the following line in cfg file:
archive_jini = f90all_jinit.jar, [youriconsarchive].jar
and maybe you should change imagebase to 'codebase' instead of documentbase.
I have it like this and works ok. I can use every icon in my jar as logo or anything else..

I need a javascript that replaces 5 logo's in an active, multi-page, CS6 document.
In certain cases the logo's need to be replaced.
For example:
logo1.pdf has to become logoA.pdf
logo2.pdf has to become logoB.pdf
logo3.pdf has to become logoC.pdf
logo4.pdf has to become logoD.pdf
logo5.pdf has to become logoE.pdf
All the logo's are in the same folder. The original and the new logo's have the same dimensions /etc.
So it would be nice to select the logo's that need to be repaced and then run the javascript.var

Now for the intersting bit: TenFourFox, like Firefox, does not support most plug-ins. Unless you are prone to headaches (in which case don't) you can read about that here:

But there is a workaround!
Open TenFourFox and type in the address bar: about:config (no spaces) and click return. This gives you a warning that it might harm the application. Ignore that and click on 'I'll be careful, I promise' and you get the config file that you can edit - with great care.
Look/search (scroll down) for: tenfourfox.plugins.enabled
Set it to true. (Double click it to toggle it)
Now close TenFourFox, open it again, and Flash will now work, as it now uses the plug-ins that Safari has stored.

I see a toolbar that has some links to a Russian url (rockhomi.ru) and some buttons in Cyrllic and a button indicating weather conditions in Savannah, Georgia. That toolbar has replaced my Zynga game toolbar (it is called the Zynga toolbar under the view/toolbar menu but it is not)
I opened Firefox after a couple of hours offline and the Zynga toolbar has returned so you can close this issue if you want.

I am using Firefox 12.0. I did not have issue with hotmail, but I am facing problem this week after firefox upgrade. After entering login the page freeze. I am not able to continue.

Can I replace an older Airport Extreme with a newer one by importing configuration file
Can I import the configuration file from an older Airport base station into a newer replacement Airport base station? It would seem this would save me a lot of extra work. First, it would hopefully save time by automatically configuring the new base station without me having to fiddle with the settings. So, I recently purchased a new Apple Airport Extreme (base station) that is a gigabit one (Model# ME918LL/A with 802.11ac Wi-FI). Now, I'd like to replace the older base station with this newer one with the MINIMAL amount of disruption and manual work possible.

TonyI relaced an older AEBS with the new one, recently, and did not need to import anything, but if you can save the configuration file from your old one, then you can import it to the new one. I've never tried that when I switched, and it didn't seem to matter which suggests the configuration file may be on disk somewhere.

I recently replaced my dead airport router with a Netgear91-5g router and synced it successfully to my Lexmark Pro 915 printer and my computer; yet when I try to print wirelessly I get the message: "printer not connected; printer offline". Lexmark support verified that my printer was connected to the new router and the problem was with the computer's printer configuration and they could reconfigure it online if I paid for their "Premium Support" services ($119 for one year, 3 fixes). I declined, feeling sure that this is something I could do if I knew how. Could it be an incompatability issue with OS 10.8.3?
You saved me $$$ that I can ill afford on my fixed income. I was very unhappy with the "support" from Lexmark... what a rip off! Thank you dwb!
