Firefox always shows text fields in light blue. Can't fix it. Help plz. Hate using IE.

Some web text fields I can type in and I don't see the text just a light blue bar in the field. Other text fields I can see the text I type into them but all the text fields are always light blue. I tried un-installing and re-installing many times. On a fresh install the problem goes away for a day or two then it comes back and there is no way to get rid of it that I know of unless I reinstall. And that only fixes it for 24 to 48 hours or so. I opened iCal back up, all the dates were blank, so i started to type events into a date.
As soon as I started to double click a date to type an event, magically all the events in all the months reappeared.
I'm still puzzled why it acted this way and if I did delete something that caused it to act this way.

It would be best two have two separate Firefox profile folders, one for each of you to prevent such problems. 
Then you also do not have problems with deleting or changing bookmarks.

System Preferences>Displays
There is a little white bar. When you have your TV connected, move the white bar to the other display. Your main desktop is now the TV screen

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

Hi I have created text field as hire date: which is database column.
I would like to show the hiredate if the empno exists in database otherwise do not show.
How can i show the hiredate only when the empno is exists in the database.

I Have created display only text item. It is working when emplno is not null. but i would like to have the format MM/DD/YYYY. Where should i give this default format. currently it is displaying as 10- MAY-11.

PDF File in Preview doesn't show text fields, but OK in Adobe Acrobat

Someone emailed me a pdf document which I opened in Preview. All the the text fields where there was supposed to be data were blank.
I then opened in Acrobat and everything was there. Saved a copy from Acrobat and opened in Preview and the text was finally visible.
Anyone have a clue why this would be happening?
I'm running Leopard 10.5.1

How do I get multiple lines to print for a blank text field so that it can be filled in by hand?

I have to design forms that are fillable electronically and by hand. The problem that I am running in to is supplying multiple lines that will print for people that are hand filling the form. I have tried to add an image of lines behind the text field, but these would get in the way when the form was filled in electronically.
I am using LiveCycle Designer ES2 v. 9.0 on a Windows machine.

Take a textfield
Go to Object | Allow multiple lines
Go to Layout | Height | activate "Expand to fit"
Go to the initialize-Event or readyform (You have to change the _ for your textfield)     this.rawValue = "___________\n___________\n___________";
Go to the enter-Event   this.rawValue = null;
Go to the exit-Event
          if(this.rawValue == null)
                this.rawValue = "___________\n___________\n___________";
          }else{}
With this solution you can simulate the same as pattern see above.

You need to refresh the page (F5) to update the items in the download menu. Apparently YouTube refreshes the page in such a way that the extension doesn't gets notified, so you need to refresh the page manually if you want to download a media file from this page.

It could be that your signal dropped to GSM which is why it sent as a normal text. You need wi-fi, 3G or HSPDA to send as an iMessage. As does the receiver

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.

*Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

I have indicated on the attached jpeg where the problem is, basically a line of text is missing at the top and part of the feeding diagram is missing. I created the artwork in different layer and then flattened. All text has been converted to outlines, however the areas being affected have no transparency, I have used solid fills or no fills. I get the same result when I export the file as a jpeg. Hope you can help.
