Firefox Beta 29. Can't enable BramThunder SUNS Toolbar, but id I select Customize it shows up and can't disable it.

when I start Beta 29, The Bramthunder SUNS toolbar does not display. If I try to check it, it will not accept the check and will not display. If I select customize and then exit customize, it displays, but will not let me deselect it.

If that toolbar (extension) isn't working in the Firefox 29 beta release then you will have to uninstall this extension and contact its developer.

Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.

The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. The windows of the Windows bar are already a form of tabs, so I don't need them in Firefox. How can I disable them completely from Firefox 23?

The Windows bar already functions as a tab bar. Those tabs are called "windows." So, I find Firefox tab windows superfluous. How can I disable them completely from Firefox 23? I don't need what is essentially TWO windows bars covering up the entire width of my widescreen monitor's image! I already have a Windows bar at the bottom of my screen and, if I really wanted to, I could change ITS position to the top of the screen, so that it would LOOK like the Firefox tab windows bar. Let me clarify even more. The Firefox add-on you mention does not remove "tabs" windows. It only HIDES the "tabs" bar when there is only one "tab" in that window. It DOES NOT end "tabs." It does not turn "tabs" off.
I know this, because, even with the add-on you recommend, the "tabs" bar often re-appears when I open a link, which--for some unknown reason--Firefox defaults to opening in a second "tab" within the same window, rather than putting it in a new Windows bar window. This, of course, disregards what I want to happen.
I want to use my Windows bar to control my windows. I do not want my Firefox browser controlling my windows--which it calls "tabs." Can you tell me how to shut off "tabs?"

In Firefox 30, how can I disable the Web Developer console?

I use a keyboard macro program. Its settings, however, are preempted by the Web Developer tools' shortcuts. Therefore, I either want to (a) totally disable the Web Developer console or (b) remove/reset the shortcuts used by it.

The prefs for disabling some DevTools (devtools.*.enabled) are there on the about:config page, but I'm not seeing anything in the code that they are supported and tests only include a few prefs.
Disabling the developer toolbar works, but not disabling any of the tools in the web console AFAICT.

Firefox Plugins lists Shockwave Flash 12.0.0.70 but Adobe lists this as Adobe Flash Player, and Version 12.0.9.149 as Adobe Shockwave Player, so wtf is going on

Flash causes us all immense confusion, and Firefox is adding to the problem.
My Firefox Add-ons page lists (under Plugins -- isn't there a difference?) that I have:
Shockwave Flash 12.0.0.70 which is set to "Always Activate".
Adobe websites list:

-- so what on earth is the Firefox-listed "Shockwave Flash"?
This simply adds to the utter confusion already surrounding Flash Player -- which I cannot find anywhere amongst my Programs -- but which I can find under "Uninstall or change a Program" where it is listed as "Adobe Flash Player 12 Plugin".
There is also the thorny issue of FlashPlayer vs. FlashPlayerDownloader......

In the internals of the plugin it is still referenced as Shockwave Flash. That hasn't changed as it would break websites that check for a specific plugin name. You can see that on the about:plugins page and in the properties of the Flash plugins file.

Firefox 6.0.1 runs OK on start up but as the day goes by gets slower and slower.

Well, eating crow is not one of my favorite meals...even though I did not change my email settings;end result is it had something to do with"pop" server item. I phd apple,the 2nd call resulted in this suggestion and i looked on you tube and got a tutorial. So, don't pay to get apple help, it is not hardware issue or their software. Can't select items, keeps showing paths and anchor points

All of a sudden when I roll over a selection the cursor displays anchor points and paths only. Any ideas?

Perhaps you have Smart Guides turned on.
Try Cmd+U to turn them off, and see how it goes.

Where can I get an APK file to install Firefox Beta? I don't use Google Play.

I'd like to test Firefox Beta but I can't seem to find a direct link to download the APK installer. It seems to be only available from Google Play but I prefer not to use proprietary software on my devices. My test devices are Galaxy SIII and Kobo Arc if that matters.

I installed firefox beta 5 and flash crashed on every page so i reverted back to firefox 4 and now flash crashes on every page of firefox 4. how can i fix it?

Ever since i installed firefox 5 beta and the new version of flash, flash crashes on every page with flash on it no matter what version of firefox i run, and flash wont let me roll back to another version. well i fixed this for a bit by reinstalling ff4 and restarting but now the firefox 4 that i re-downloaded continues to very aggressively update itself to 5 beta without asking me. it just notifies me once its done it telling me to restart and once i close firefox, boom. flash crashes every minute or so and freezes my computer. I love firefox. i have used it for years. but if no one can help with this problem or at least tell me how to stop firefox 4 from updating to firefox beta 5 im gonna go download something else because im losing money fighting with firefox to get my work done which is now taking 10 times longer to complete. i really want to keep using firefox but this is kinda ridiculous guys... When using firefox beta can not enter text into reply areas on forums.

When visiting vbulletin type sites, the firefox beta will not enter text into the message reply text box. Seems to be only a problem on honeycomb os.

Are you attempting to un-install the programme through the Control Panel/Add Remove Programs? Have you also tried to restart your computer, and then before opening any other programme, go straight to the Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs and try to un-install it from there.
