Firefox blocks my page from updating - how do I enable updating?

I like to have MSNBC and CNN open during the day when I am at work. For some reason, there is now a message saying that Firefox has blocked the page from updating and I have to constantly click "Allow" for it to update. I have tried to right click to "Always allow" but that is not an option. I have gone to "Options" but I cannot find a way to always allow updating.

That's a security feature in Firefox.

You should still disable this setting:
*Firefox > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"
The setting in "Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
What is the value of the accessibility.blockautorefresh pref on the about:config page?

How to block a page (from a business job searching website) from appearing on my screen without me searching for it?

Look under:
System preferences > Network > WiFi > ( Advanced ) > DNS
System Preferences > Network > Ethernet > ( Advanced ) > DNS
There should be two or more IP addresses there.
Those addresses should be EXACTLY the ones your current ISP provided when you signed up for service. They do not start with 85 or 86 -- those are hacker sites.
If you are in the US, you could also use OpenDNS:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

• I don't want to have to click the allow button every 3 seconds uploading video, how do I disable the "firefox prevented the page from reloading" when I've already put the site on my exceptions list?

I begin uploading video to Facebook and a small window opens to show the progress bar but, the video stops uploading about every 5% when a notification comes from the top bar stating: "Firefox prevented the page from reloading" with an Allow button on the right. Regardless of clicking the allow button and putting Facebook in every exception list Firefox options seems to have or even turning pop up blockers off, that dam button keeps coming! How do I prevent or disable this?

• How do I turn off the "firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page" dialogue ?

I am a mac user. I tried to access my bank account, but firefox 3.6.8 prevents me by telling me: "firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page". This is NOT a dialogue which I can click a button. Instead, nothing happens when I type my bank's URL while a small message appears below the URL field bar. I do not have the OPTIONS under the Tools menu (like on Windows version) and my preferences does not give me any option to turn this thing off. Can any one HELP me as I cannot have access to my bank website?

• In V33.0 how do I disable "firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading"?

When loading my home page I get the following message "firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading". Before I upgraded to V33.0 I was able to fix this issue. The answer was to uncheck the box "warn me when pages try to redirect" but I don't see this option in V33.0.

This should be in the same spot:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General mini-tab > ''uncheck the box for'' "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

• Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading ... How can I fix this?

I use firefox with my earthlink account. When the earthlink browser page loads .. and for that fact, when most pages load, a bar appears that says "Firefox Prevented this Page from Automatically Reloading." on the far right side of the bar is a Box " ALLOW" and the Red "X" Box.
When I click Allow, for about 20 to 30 seconds the bar is gone, but then slowly comes back. When I click the Red X ... it leaves and does not come back until I do something using the right mouse button or the enter key!

As of June 25 2013 In Firefox version 22.0 the ALLOW button fails to work when presented the message "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading". • Baris Derin blocks some pages from opening,

I don't know what Baris Derin is. I don't want it. I just want google. It insist in wanting me to install. I don't want to do it. Sometimes when I go to a site and it then wants me to download or something like that: Baris Derin comes up and blocks me. It doesn't give me a choice of "do you want to download?" or "No thanks." What gives!!!!
I can not print my boarding pass because of this annoying thing. So I gave in: I tried to download. Well I can't get it to work. HELPPP. Oh, yes. I'm a mac.

Whenever I click on a link, I always get a message saying "Firefox prevented this page from redirecting to another page"
I then have to click on the 'Allow' button, and it goes to the page I wanted. This is extremely annoying. I can't find a setting in Firefox that will fix it. I never had this problem with previous versions of Firefox, nor do I get that message when using Internet Explorer, so it's not a firewall issue.
