Firefox can't show normal characters after second run

after windows is loaded, i can run firefox normally, but after closing and opening firefox, it show normal characters in menu and text in web pages, as a rectangle.
i've tries shift+open and disables add-ons, and selected all checkbox and restarted firefox, but problem exist. even uninstalled completely and installed latest version, but no income.
the only solution is lunching safe mode or restarting windows.
this problem is started after a complete system scan with avira antivirus.

You can try to set the Boolean pref gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.use_gdi_table_loading to false on the about:config page.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

- I've used Firefox exclusively for around 2 years.
- My outlook express has no problems
- other programs seem unaffected; it seems peculiar to Firefox.
- my main use is surfing the net, primarily entering competitions on line via specialist competition sites.
- every day at some stage(s) I have to switch computer off as Firefox has got very slow/sticky/freezes.
I'm not techy by any means, but I can only thing of un- and re-installing to hopefully start with a clean slate.

Sounds like something is keeping Firefox from closing properly. See this:

Itunes can not show chinese characters.

My Itunes can not show chinese characters, they are all blocks, while I can re-type in the chinese name of the song in Itunes, then it works.
The same as Japanese, some time it can show Jap, while sometime can not. How can I solve this problem. My computer is Mac system

Why EBELP can not show normal in Table Control ?

I used table control in screen. And put some fields such as Material, PO, PO item,
When user input the material, and pressed enter, then can call the PO and PO item into internal table. At screen, the PO can show normal, but the PO item show is u20180u2019.but the internal table have value.
Why the PO item canu2019t show normal?
Please help me?

I set the EBELP in table control farmat is NUMC and CHAR also can't show normal
I know it ,it must set the FIELD module check.

Query slows down after second run for Index Organised Tables

We are trying to optimise our application which supports MSSQL to run with Oracle 9i for one of our customers.
We have created one database with normal tables and PK constraints/indexes and turned caching on for the tables, this seems to work well but no way as fast as MSSQL on similar hardware. The first run of query was slower but as the caching became more effective the query times came down.
So we investigated turning the tables into Index Organised Tables. We ran analyze on the new indexed tables and the response time of one of our more complex queries became akin to MSSQL. We ran the same query 5 seconds later and it took about 3 times longer to return the same data. Subsequent runs produced the same result.
We have run the same query on both styles of tables and also run showplans on the two queries, the regular table returns a cost of 190 and the IOT 340. This would point to the fact that we should use the regular tables for our queries but why did the IOT set return much faster for the first run after the analyze then slow down as if the stats were missing, but the execution plan remain the same.
Any help would be appreiciated.

could be a lot of reasons:
1. Is Oracle the only process that runs on this server? Could it be any other process (i.e. MSSQL) that took the the resources during the secodn run?
2. Is this the only query that was running during your tests? Could there be another query that put the load on the database when you were running the second test?
3. The autotrace statistics and explain plan would be useful for first and second run

4. If you run the same process again several times - how does the response time change?

ITune Store can't show purchased item after iOS 7.1.1 Update

After my iPad Air got restored to factory iOS 7.1 from the Apple Store, I restored my content which is 25GB of books pdf apps and videos. Then got the news that iOS 7.1.1 is out and fixed some issues, I thought maybe fixed the Videos App problem, so I updated my iOS to 7.1.1 over wifi no with problem. Then I tried to check the purchased item in iTune Store but came out blank. From the heading "Purchased" and below up to the lower visible icon, it is blank. Tried reboot, power off, sign out in, close all app, etc. The only thing left is the famous factory restore, which i'm not ready to do. The Apps Store is fine, i can see my purchased apps.

I went to Apple Store and hooked up to their WiFi, now I see my purchased item in the iTune Store.

Iam executing one custom transaction for sales cycle in background, in that iam trigging IDOC's, user are getting the messages like
1. Idoc No: 0000014254 despatched to client -
2. 1Output were processed.
3. 1 IDOC's selected.
user has to enter 3 times while the transaction is running in background.
But requirement is "can i set all 3 information messages after trigging IDOC's to background.
any body suggest the solution.

I'd been in touch with the senior tiers of Apple Support on the phone to diagnose the chkdsk incidents of 2004-2005.
Following that, I also negotiated (part-)resolution to the Smart Playlist issue.
Since Updater 2006-01-10 (part-)fixed the Smart Playlist problem, but seemed to introduce some other issues for folks, I've been continuing to pass feedback from my Level 2 contact who is handling investigation of the latest problems. In turn, he is working with US Engineering to handle this issue.
So no, I'm not Apple, but I (and some others) pass commentary to and fro between Discussions and Level 2 Support, and by by-passing Front Line phone support, it helps us to get serious issues investigated and resolved more quickly. I find that such an approach for serious problems works well to help the Community.
I'm not sure if my message gives hope - but I do hope that having reported this on up to Level 2, and having been told that US Engineering have teams watching Discussions, that maybe we can expect some attention from Apple R&D on this matter. However, the official line is for individuals to contact Apple directly themselves via the phone and website feedback, so US Engineering have an idea of the number of people affected. The more people who report to Apple directly, the more likely the problem is to be noticed, and hence the priority for investigation and resolution increases. I can start an unofficial ball rolling, as I have done, but we cannot keep the momentum up unless users use these official routes to let Apple know they are affected.
Sorry it's all a bit foggy, but it's the best I've got! Hope this little explanation helps to clarify things a bit more. Feel free to post back if you'd like to discuss this further. Best for now.

Can't show special characters (ÆØÅ) in pdf fields created with inDesign CS6

Hi Guys im having a problem with special characters in pdf's form fields created in inDesign CS6
instead of the character ÆØÅ it creates squares or some other seemingly random character

Just in case people had the same problem here is how it's done: (i misunderstood the two posters above me, so you are actually going to change fonts within acrobat, like they said, and save it)
Open the pdf in acrobat, go and change font settings for each of your fields and change the font under the "Appearance" tab.

Graphics Media Accelerator shows chinese characters after upgrade

Guys,
This is real strange, i upgraded the graphics driver and guess what, when i right click on the graphics media icon in the task bar, everything in is chinese.
Can someone help?

What version of firefox can I use best if i am running Mac OS 10.4 and am not planning to change my OS?

I keep on getting automatic updates from firefox and then I am told that I cannot run the update because my OS is too old (!).
I get sent to the firefox website saying that I can find the best version for my OS version and yet once I click, I get no info at all, it only tells me I need the newest version –that I cannot run.
Since this issue, my browser has frozen and crashed each time I have it open for more than two hours.
I currently seem to be running firefox 3.6.24

Unfortunately, Firefox 4 and later dropped support for mac 10.4 :( Firefox 3.6.28 is the latest version you can use on that Operating System.
Now, that said, have you tried to start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]? That will test to see if your crashes are caused by an extension.
You can also try using the unofficial version of Firefox for Mac 10.4, tenfourfox. [http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/ http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/]. Keep in mind this version is unofficial, and there is no support for it from Mozilla. But it might be worth a try.

When running a user defined report the first time it shows the tab toolbar (freeze view, run report, etc) but when a new report is opened in the same tab the toolbar disappears.
In order to show again the toolbar I need to close the tab, right click the report name -> Open and the new tab will contain the toolbar.
Verified with version 2.1 and there the toolbar is always displayed.

Not able to submit data ( HypConnect and HypSubmitData) after second run

Hi,
I have a Macro that runs several retrieves, run business rules and submits data. And it works fine for the 1st time when I open the excel macro. If I tried to run it twice i got and error "100000" in the hypconnect before the HypSubmitData. (If i open and close the excel again, it runs fine)
My guess, its that something its getting locked and i have to do something to unlocked, however it is very strange cause everything else is done correctly (meanning before the submit, there are several connects and retrieves ).
Pd. I have essbase server 11.1.1.3.500, provider server 11.1.1.3.500, smartview 11.1.2.2.310 32 bits, windows 7, excel 2010 32 bits, smartiew vba functions are setup for 32 bits version, i also have updated the registry for the explorer timeouts.

Well i found the error, basically im connecting with Hypcreate connection and HypConnect for the retrieves and HypCreate ConnectionEx HypConnectEx, it looks that it has a conflict with the two connection at the same page, therefore at the beggining of the macro im running hypdisconnect and hypdisconnectex, and then I can run it for several times without problems.

How can I show the chart in forms?

Besides, I see a document that refer to 'OG.pll'.
I can't find the OG.pll in form6i. Do I need 'OG.pll' to show the chart when I run the form? Thank you very much!!

You can try to create a code node for check which signature to print.
In global variable declare a variable ie named g_sign type TDOBNAME.
Then pass this var to name of graphics &g_sign&

Why canI open Firefox twice and my Norton toolbar only shows up on the second one

for some reason i can open firefox twice and did not know if this is normal. also my Norton 360 only shows up on the second one trying to find out if this is a something i need to correct and how to go about it

OK on the iMac now but not sure how to send the System Details. Any help welcome.

After opening firefox, the tab on my taskbar says Firefox is open... however Firefox will not show up so I can use it.

As I open Firefox the window opens for a split second then disappears. On my taskbar it is showing that firefox is still open however if you click on it nothing happens and firefox stays inaccessible. I can't even get enough access to turn off addons to try without them if it improve performance.

I had this problem. Solution was to move mouse over taskbar icon. When Firefox displays small icon right click this and select maximise window !!! I think somehow Firefox got minimised to the taskbar and would not reopen as a full window. i.e it when you clicked the taskbar icon it would pop up and then pop back down to the taskbar again !!
