Does Blackberry Link install any add-ons into Firefox? You can check here:

Also, does Blackberry Link create any Windows network connections? To make sure Firefox isn't randomly choosing dysfunctional networks, check your proxy setting here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > Network > "Settings" button
If you have Auto-detect, try either No Proxy or Use system proxy settings.

You haven't provided much information, such as what type of router you have? If you entered the encryption key as the password as opposed to the router name you have selected? If you have WEP or WPA? Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I'm using a MacBookPro, all software in current except iWeb. When I try to update iWeb from 1.1.2 to 2.0.3 I get the following "An eligible iWeb application was not found in the location /Applications." iWeb is, infact, in my Applications folder. Are there two applications folders? Am I looking at the wrong one? FWIW, I updated to 1.1.2 just this from 1.1.1 morning with no problems.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

What website file are you trying to open when you open your site?
You need to open your domain.sites file located under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites.
Sounds like you are trying to open a published site and iWeb can't do that as it has no import facility - one way process.
Also, if you hve iWeb version 1.1.2, this is iWeb 06 contained in iLife 06 and version 2 is iWeb 08 and you cannot just update like that from iWeb 06 to iWeb 08. If you want to update your iWeb from iWeb 06 to iWeb 08, then you need to purchase the boxed set of iLife 08. Better still, upgrade and purchase the iLife 09 or iLife 11 boxed set which contains the latest and last version of iWeb which is iWeb 09.
You'll have to purchase this from Amazon though, as Apple no longer sells or supports iWeb since MobileMe ceased to exist at the end of June this year.

Sorry Chris but I don't even get that far - after download latest Firefox - I cannot get the installation to work. I get dialogue box with "0% extraction" then nothing also cannot get Opera to install. The installation stalls at the same point of extracting the download. The only browser to work is IE8. I think it is more a Java problem as everything worked Ok until I took a Java upgrade.

Using LAN to hi-speed broadband modem connection from Optimum Online. IE and new Firefox work fine. Proxy (Preferences) off, tried on/off combinations without success. CA firewall settings look good. Works fine through LAN/WIFI/router from other machines, e.g. Powerbook/Leopard and MacBook Pro/Tiger, etc. Any suggestions?

Windows Firewall should automatically get disabled when you did install the CA firewall.
If not then disable the Windows Firewall right now,
Since having 2 firewalls enabled at the same time will just lead too problems.

Cannot save any web sites to favorites

Hello I am having a problem with saving web sites to my favorites. I can open the ones that are already saved but cannot add to it. On the tool bar I can click on "Favorites", the list will drop down, then click "Add To Favorites" and then nothing. The last thing I did to the laptop was get my printer program downloaded with help frop the Printer group.

Even now while visiting support.mozilla.com, I get an "Error Encountered" message from Symantec. I don't get this message from Safari.
Symantec suggests that I support the site to Symantec, but it is every web site I visit using Firefox.

Every website I try to open gives the standard message "the website is temporarily unavailable ....... " yet interent explorer opens all sites

I have the same problem but can go on to some websites but not others. I have tried what was suggested about clearing recent history and also the proxy server but it hasn't resolved the problem.

When you have problems with Safari (or any app) in more than one user account that's an indication the startup disk needs reparing.
Since you are running Lion you need to use Lion Recovery to do that.

WIFI shows connected but I cannot open any web page

My playbook connects to the wifi no problem, but when i try to use the brower to connect to a web page, it won't connect. It gives me the error message that i should try again.
It is as if it is not connected to the internet.
When i try APP world, it tries to connect but it tell me that I am not connected to the internet.
The internet works on when i try it on my computer and my blackberry bold.

(is it Netgear, Cisco, Belkin, Linksys?). I have known many cases with PlayBook not connecting to NETGEAR routers.
