Firefox crashes as soon as I log-on. Can't delete Firefox

Firefox crashes when I click on the icon. I tried to delete Firefox and then reload it but the add remove program in Widows XP wouldn't remove it. I can only get on the internet with Internet Explorer.

Satellite M100 - TFncKy crashing as soon as Windows logs on

Been having this problem with only one of the user accounts on my M100, the other account doesn't have the problem.
As soon as I am logged in to Windows a message pops-up that TFncKy has unexpectedly quit (send error report, don't send error report, etc) and every time one of the directional buttons or multimedia buttons is pressed the same unexpectedly quit message comes up, so it is pretty frequent/frustrating, and also makes all these keys effectively uselss.
I've also tried opening the file at C:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\TOSHIBA Controls\TFncKy.exe directly, but it crashes as soon as its' opened.
The computer is virtually brand new with minimal additional programs installed that it could clash with.
Has anyone come accross this problem before? Any ideas would be much appreciated.

2 out of 3 when i log on to windows the TFncKy.exe crashes.
Also experience bad lan drivers, the notebook freezes when i try to acces the network shares.
whemn i work wireless the problem doesnt appear.
already upgraded bios and installed the drivers again but no go.
after crash a reboor works miracles and no problem for the rest of the day.
Also exprerience trouble with the soundcard and the virtual sound.
It worked proparly but now the sound is 4 notches down, cant get it back on the same volume level.
downloaded drivers from realtek helped 30 minutes then same problem appeared
already re installed chipset driver, no go
installed windows XP proffesional and not the default home version
dont know if problem appears there, didnt try it.

50 GB of console logs! Can I delete it?

Hi, I was just wondering why I head about 50 GB less harddrivespace and checked the folders and my root library folder was suddenly about 51 GB big!! I checked the folders and found that library/logs/console is 50 GB big. Inside the console folder are two folders - one folder named 501 with console.log files in it and an other named 502 which is protected. The 501 folder is the problem - and there specific on conole log named console.log.0
What is it for and can I delete it?

Aperture 3 crashes each time I launch it. Can I delete and reinstall from App Store

Aperture 3.2.1 crashes each time I launch it. It worked fine until today. I repaired permissions and trashed the plist. Can I delete and reinstall it from App Store? If so, which is the best way to delete it without affect the library?

You can reinstall from the App Store just delete Aperture from the Application folder. Your images are in the library and will not be affected doing this (though having a good working backup is always a good idea especially at times like this).
This may correct your problem but without more information there is no way to tell.

Corruption in Messages/Call Logs. Can't delete, or...

Just recently, for no apparent reason, I have had some serious problems with my N900!
When I try to send/receive a message, it comes up with an error every 30secs -
"Unable to send/receive messages. Device storage full. Free user space."
However, device storage is NOT full. Rootfs is at 76%.
I have two corrupt messages in Conversations, which cannot be deleted. Pressing Delete or Clear Conversation simply does nothing. I also have about 4 calls in recent calls which do not delete. I belive the database is corrupted, and this is causing the problem.
I CANNOT re-flash at the moment, my USB port is broken. However, I can change anything through SSH or xTerm.
Is it possible to simply navigate to the Conversations/Call Logs files through SSH, and delete them, or replace them with virgin ones, to fix this issue??

but back to the firmware.
if that is the case, i would try to sync with Outlook via bluetooth to get your contacts and notes, webpages saved, but the hard part is the firware cleanboot.
wihtoue the usb, i am not sure at the moment how to reflash the unit.
when you backed up the unit, it backed up the coruption, so that will do you no good. you will need to start over.
as soon as you can get this rebooted, i would create a back up to restore to forfuturre reference.

You can check if you can start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] by holding down the Shift/Options key.
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Firefox crashes as soon as I open it. As far as I know, I haven't been able to submit crash report. I was playing Farmville when it crashed, about a month or two ago, and did submit a crash report then, all this in suppost has been no help, since I can't get Firefox to open in first place. I can only use IE now, so cannot go to about crashes in location bar.

I would recommend trying to start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] - if that works, something within FF (extension of some kind) is probably the cause.

Firefox (Linux) crashes as soon as it "starts" and the saved tabs won't go away no matter what, profilemanager doesn't work, only opens another firefox.

My firefox on linux ubuntu 9.1 ALWAYS crashes on startup. But only on my regular logon (is it another Profile?), it says hrtimer_nanosleep on system monitor on the firefox_bin. It just did that one time and i can't get it to work. It crashes as soon as i start firefox with the tabs that were upp when it started crashing. Safe-mode is tested and did not work. I saw something about deleting / create new profile. but when i type in firefox -ProfileManager its only starts up another firefox that crashes. And i also saw that someone erased a file named secmod.db. I do NOT have this file. The whole firefox/mozilla files are all messed up in my system but where do i find the profile? It's all a mess this thing. and it's making me kinda pissed.

UCCE 8.0 CAD Supervisor crashes as soon as Team is selected.

Hello everyone,
I am having an issue where supervisor desktop crashes as soon as the user chooses a team. This is specific to this supervisor and only started to happen recently. not specific to the Agent PC or phone. Also, the Agent login works fine. anyone seen this issue before?

TAC recreated the new Agent with same ID (after changing the credentials for existing one), and it seemed to have fixed the issue.

What causes iTunes to crash as soon as it tries to open? I never had any problems in the past. It just started happening a few days ago. I tried to reload it but it still crashes. Any suggestions?

For now and until Apple fixes the bug, the only solution I have found is to turn the proxy off in the Network settings. If you need to use a proxy server for work/school, you are best off with using Firefox. Firefox has a number of add-ons that allow you to turn the proxy on and off (for instance Switchproxy, which is very useful and allows you to turn the proxy on only selectively). There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
If Safari crashes on launch and you don't have another web browser, you should be able to launch Safari by starting up in safe mode.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those.
After removing the malware, remember to reset your home page in all the web browsers affected, if it was changed.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
If you find Apple's instructions too hard to follow, ask for an alternative that doesn't require you to trust a black-box application without knowing what it does.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Photoshop crashing as soon as it is opened.

I'm using Photoshop CS5 on a Mac Pro running 10.6.4 with 8gb of ram...plenty to work with. However crashes as soon as I open the program. I can't even use it. I tried throwing out the preferences. I checked for some suspicious fonts that I saw on another post. Neither has helped. So, I'm about to reinstall the software. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Applications crashing on launch is often an indicator that either the user account or OS has issues.
First thing to try would be to log in as another user and see if it launches there. If it does, your primary user account has problems. Repairing disk permissions may help.
If it refuses to launch under a new account, then the OS may have issues and an Archive and Install of the OS may be needed.
