Firefox crashes because it use the whole memory

I'm using a Composite Application Framework, that contains portlet that refresh its data every 10 seconds. That cause Firefox to "eat" memory. It reserve the whole memory and after that it crash. I think that this happens because of JavaScript caching, and this framework changes often the IDs of the controls and paths for accessing the JavaScripts. Can you propose me some workaround or could you please fix this problem?

If you mean that I have to read solutions there - I did it, but none of it does not gave me answer why Firefox use the whole memory when only one web page containing one portlet is opened. I tried to get help from the crash id web page - unfortunately I can't open that page. Maybe I have to report another question about sending the errors, because after that crash it seems that no data is send to firefox server

If it freezes the computer then it sounds that there is a problem with a system driver on service that is running on the computer.

Why is my adobe photoshop trying to crash when i use the puppet warp tool?

Trying to open my hotmail, Firefox is asking to use the default.aspx and once I have tried to save or downoladed always shows a message telling "... GWNju492.aspx.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. " but if I try to do the same thing using iexplore is working without any problem and I can read my email.

How do I determine what is using the most memory.

The hard disk memory is filling up and I was wondering what is the best way to determine what is using the most memory. Is there a way to show a graph of how the memory is used. Like on my ipod. When I am checking the memory, it will show how much is music, and how much is applications and so on.
Also, I seemed to have lost the "all movies" in the list to the left when the hard disk is opened. It still shows the all imagess, and all documents but the all movies is gone.

Just for future reference space on a hard drive is called, "storage," not "memory." Memory refers to the installed RAM in your computer.

Photoshop crashes when I use the marquis tool.

Photoshop crashes when I use the marquee tool. As soon as I make a selection it crashes my computer (every time!) by either rendering the screen black or sometimes all white. I have to force shut down and restart. I'm using MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8 with Photoshop CS6. I am not in a position to update OS at this time. Is there anything I can do to work around this problem? It's extremely time-consuming and infuriating.

That is not an application crash - that is a kernel panic, which means there is a hardware defect, a bug in the OS or a bug in a low level driver (like parts of the video driver). Kernel panics are not caused by applications, but by defective hardware or bugs in the OS and drivers.
Resetting prefs may avoid the settings that triggered the crash - but the cause remains in the hardware, OS, or driver code.
Since Apple is not going to update the drivers in 10.6.8, your best bet is to update the OS when you can, and hope the new drivers are in better shape. Unfortunately, it is also possible that you just have a bad GPU or video RAM - and fixing that would require replacing the video card or system (in the case of laptops or all-in-one machines).

Try resetting your phone by holding down the home and off button until the apple symbol comes up. Then if still doing, restore your phone in itunes from your backup.

I suggest you buy your memory from OWC or DataMem. Both guarantee the memory works or will replace it if it does not, no questions asked, within their 30 day return period. I've used both for over 20 years, and no complaints.

What usually occurs is that Labview uses a tremendous amount of page file space while a majority of the physical memory is unused. Is there a way to configure Labview (or our system) to overcome this problem? It seems that our processes would be much faster if they were mainly using the physical memory. Is it possible to trick the system, by creating a RAM disk and allocating this as virtual memory space?

LabVIEW the application doesn't know anything about physical versus
virtual memory. LV asks the OS for general purpose memory and goes
from there.
Drivers like DAQ and IMAQ will have a combination of general user
memory and page lo
cked physical buffers.
I'm not up on the details, but this is something that the OS is in
control of, so that is where you need to look for the solution. One
of the things to look at is the disk cache. By default, I think that
NT takes a percentage of the RAM to use for disk cache. With that
much RAM, this is probably unnecessary and is using too much.
Similarly, the OS may be attempting to keep the working set size
to a fraction of the total RAM to reserve space for other things.
It doesn't make sense to me, but then I don't work for MS.
