Your crash reports are showing that there are a few reason for the crashing and some are unknown to date how they're caused. Not to worry as we can try some troubleshooting.
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings, disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
*In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
*In previous Firefox versions, click on the Firefox button at the top left of the Firefox window and click on Help (or click on Help in the Menu bar, if you don't have a Firefox button) then click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
* On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
* On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode <br>(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".<br>

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.

• Since upgrading to Firefox 6 my computer has gone from staying up until yearly power failures to crashing many times a day.

VERY strange. I upgraded to 6 when it came out and it took me quite a few days later to figure out WHY I went from no crashes to nvidia driver crashes MANY times a day.
It was firefox 6.0.
I thought my nvidia drivers were out of date. They were one version behind so I upgraded. Crash.
I thought maybe some kernel interaction might be an issue so I compiled up the latest Linux 3.0.3 and re-installed the nvidia drivers.
Still crash. Took me a few more days to realize the only thing that changed on my system was Firefox. I usually upgrade without thinking.
I switched to Opera. Not a single crash in a week. So it is Firefox. I dug and dug and dug on google and found a remote reference to some acceleration added in 6. I disabled it. It still crashes. I have moved back to Firefox 5 and have run all day without a crash.
My computer at home runs about a dozen web sites, 2 X servers on separate consoles (one for standard browsing and all other functions and one for World of Warcraft gaming - I like to keep them separate), FTP, TeamSpeak server ver 2 & 3, NFS for terrabytes of media files, lets just say many things. Firefox 6 killed me.
What more info do you need. Sorry I pasted ver 5 Troubleshooting Info, but I need a special request before I run anything greater than 6 on this system again. I will do it if needed but I will need a reboot to prevent all these kernel/video driver crashes.
ONLY when I run Firefox 6. After some small usage (while watching xine videos or web browsing youtube, playing WoW, or who knows what) the screen FLASHES and I know a freeze is eminent. If I can get one last xterm up I can dmesg and see these messages or if I log in with my android phone via SSH. I still have control of the system just no display. I can reboot there or Alt-Sysrq Sync, Unmount, Boot to restart my system many times a day.

That is probably rather unlikely. The updates are released throttled initially to a portion of users so that any major problems will be picked up before everyone gets it.
It is also run through a staged procedure releasing as six weeks each in Nightly -> Aurora -> Beta versions. Although some code change will occur in that process. The Releases also must also pass automated testing.
Once the Release happens then we can look for problems showing up from: the crash reporter, the input feedback, telemetry, and comments on this forum.
Problems do and always will get through but it is unlikely a problems causing Firefox not to start would go unnoticed unless it only affected a vanishingly small proportion of users (nearly 1/2 Billion total),and then it would possibly be because of specific hardware or interactions with other software.

Presumably you installed the conduit plugin deliberately and like it. A simple web search suggests many users may be unhappy with that software. Search

Do you have any 3rd party memory installed? If so where did you get it?  Make sure they are firmly seated.
To test if it's the memory remove the 3rd party memory and run with the original modules to see if the crashes continue or not.

• My Firefox crashes multiple times a day and it will not update, as I get update reminders. What shall I do, use Safari???

My Firefox crashes several times a day. I get update notices and try to update but the updates never load. I have a new MacBook Pro with no other issues. I have even tried deleting my Firefox and downloading a new ap. This is not working. I have been using Firefox since its inception and prefer it to Safari, but I am about to give up.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
* Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

Hello all!
As of the last month or two, Firefox now crashes multiple times per day (even in Safe Mode). Firefox is fully updated, as are my Add-ons and Extensions.
Yesterday alone, it crashed 14 times (which is about average).

Was discussed here - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums/contributors/709022 - in Feb 2013. And Bug #738661 was filed in March of 2012, with the consensus being.
"In that case this is more likely a bug in Covenant Eyes than it is a bug in Firefox. If we have no hope of success through engaging with Covenant Eyes and can't blocklist the offending DLL from loading, can we at least get a support article posted instructing users how to work around this issue (ie. removing Covenant Eyes or switching to a different browser)?
Additionally, I don't see much point in keeping this bug in the NEW state if it's unreasonable to expect that we'll ever fix this."

• I'm running Mozilla firefox 32.0.3 a laptop with Windows 7 Professi 64 bit. Firefox crashes several times a day, please help.

I'm running Mozilla firefox 32.0.3 (most updated version) on a laptop with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Since downloading, Firefox crashes after an hour, does the same in safe mode. I already reset my browser to the default settings but that did not solve the issue. What can be causing the problem? Here is crash reports for the last 3 days (however, not all are there...crashes several times each day)

Thank you for your quick response Philipp.
I have used this extension with previous versions of Firefox and had no issues. Why is this a problem on the latest version? Do you know of another "TimeLineRemove" extension that will work with this version of Firefox? Will reverting to an earlier version of Firefox solve this issue allowing me to continue using "TimeLineRemove"?

• Is older firefox available, say dated fall 2011, which wasn't crashing many times per day as the current code is?

The current firefox, april 040412, crashes 60% of the time when you hit the print function. Not ok. Did not use to do this. So, I would like old fire fox; 6 mos old be nice, back when it was usable. I have had to go to Opera; please don't force me over to IE.

Well, let's see if we can't get your current Firefox working. you don't want to downgrade, because older versions of Firefox aren't supported, and have lots of known security holes.
First, make sure you are running Firefox 11, which you can get from www.getfirefox.com. go ahead and just download and install that version over your current one, so then we can see if reinstalling it fixes the issue.
If it doesn't, Try to start Firefox in Safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, user customizations, hardware acceleration, etc. temporarily for diagnostic and troubleshooting. If Firefox works find in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on and report the issue to that add-on's developer.
If you are still having problems, can you please open up Firefox, then go to "about:crashes" in your address bar (without quotes, just type it in and hit Enter". Copy and paste the crash id's there into this thread (they start with bp-).
You can also do these few things to eliminate third part problems:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers.
Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.
Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.
And read Firefox crashes for more tips :) let me know if this helps!

• Firefox crashes several times a day even in safe mode

Every every day I get a few crashes with Firefox. The scenario is always the same. Attached screenshot. I keep switching Shockwave Flash v11.2.202.451 and the Cisco OpenH264 codec to “never activate” but on restart from the crash they are found to have reactivated. I tried safe mode, and refreshed, with no improvement. I think it is related to video uplaying, youtube etc, but can't pin it down.
My OS is Ubuntu 14.04, Firefox 36.0.1 for Ubuntu.

As for it being out of date, I am sure that while there is a version 16 for Windows, the last version that works for FF on Linux is mine.
Funnily enough i haven't had a single crash today, maybe due to todays Ubuntu update.

• Firefox crashes several times a day

Firefox keeps crashing 6-8 times a day. It's getting incredibly ridiculous.
here are several crash ID's
bp-20b6a4d0-d5ae-4e43-9fb9-47f482140325

698a259d-8daf-4bd6-9c64-e3a39d450491

Oh, if the crash IDs do not start with bp- on the about:crashes page, then the forum doesn't make them clickable. You might need to click through them first to ensure they were submitted.
I noticed in your plugins 3 different Flash players:
* Shockwave Flash 12.0 r0
* Shockwave Flash 11.5 r502
* Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102
If you can see all of these on the Add-ons page, please disable the two older ones. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Look for "Shockwave Flash" and change "Always Activate" to "Never Activate" for the older ones.
If Firefox doesn't display them there, you may need to manually remove them. On 64-bit Windows 7, they normally live here:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
The plugins used by Firefox have this name pattern
NPSWF32_(version number).dll

• Indesign CS5 Buggy Crashes Many times per day

I manage to crash CS5 at least 10 times per day. Cut and paste from one layter to another seems to do it alot. Running on a new Core I7 machine. Very disappointed. CS4 rarely crashed. Also I wish Adobe would focus on performace of their programs. CS5 has a few marginal things over 4 but to Adobe performance never seems to matter.
Rob

There are quite a few document elements I've ran into that were valid in CS3 layouts that InDesign CS5 will not copy and paste. I've not ran into any elements created in CS5 that didn't copy and paste expected.
Generally I've found it to be elements that were never meant to be text frames that have been converted to text frames via the text tool click to create frame option. It's mostly when elements that should have been type on path through that tool being created as a frame.
Also, though this forum occasionally has some venting is generally support oriented. This late into CS5 most people aren't really concerned with the relative displeasure of new users. Getting used to it is the best way and someone may come along with the link to the feature request for to vote for what you want to see. I'll sympathize that things aren't going to get better and performance is likely to continue to degrade, that much of the new stuff is designed for next generation hardware and won't perform even on great hardware now, such as live screen drawing and not making me swear with files that used to not make me swear (particularly EPS which although I know is dead is very much alive in the history of a 20+ year old art departments past files).

• Firefox crashes several times a day. I have not found a pattern yet. It crashes randomly, I suppose.

Firefox crashes. I think Facebook is always running. I've tried in safe mode and with all plug-ins disabled but it keeps crashing randomly. Some days no crashes at all. Some days three crashes in one minute.

Try the Firefox Safe Mode to see how it works there. The Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
* You can open the Firefox 4.0+ Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.

The Program that contains the MPK.dll file was installed by me direct from their site. I did it to monitor the activities of my daughter who is a teenager. And this program and its file MPK.dll NEVER interfered with versions earlier than FF 30.

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
#Press the following shortcut to get a Run window: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.
#In that text field, enter %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
#From that explorer window, double-click on the Mozilla folder, then double-click on Firefox and then on Crash reports. Double-click on submitted.
#Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to View > Arrange Icons by > Modified to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
#Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
#Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.
Thanks in advance!
