Firefox crashes when I try to check add-ons. related or not, it tells me that adobe isn't updated, no matter how many times I install current version.
When I go to Options/Add-ons, Firefox crashes & closes. I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling FF, also opening in safe mode, disabling all add-ons, and then just enabling those I thought I needed to use FF - Adobe, Adobe Flash, Java, BitDefender.
You should still have the older version of Firefox (the beta installs alongside the older version). Check under add/remove programs. If you do, just locate the .exe in program files under Mozilla, and create a shortcut.

Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If the crash doesn't happen in Safe Mode, you should read [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]].

This began shortly after I installed my new CD burner with Nero 9 burning software, about the same time I also installlerade my new Nikon camera software ViewNX2, I ran Avira scan and Microsoft Egan virus scan and they say everything is good in it, he reported a few times, I ran Avira scan of your computer and Microsoft's own Virus Scanning and they say everything is good in it, he reported a few times, tried again now and the sound is heard all the way but the image is still, therefore gentle freezes, got no number on the bug report so I can not say that. Also ask your pardon for errors in language that may be present but hope you understand anyway!

I have opened the plugin scanning page many times before, and have done some updating of plugins recently, but yesterday I couldn't bring up the scan, I keep getting "Plugin Finding Service Error", which says to "try again later". I believe what I updated most recently was Flash (I think). No matter how many times I push the "try again", or shut down Firefox and the webpage, I still get the error, and get nowhere!
This problem has been occurring for the past two months. I have updated Firefox to version 3.6.16...including Flash Player to version 10.2.153.1 as instructed. I am able to click on the "Add-ons" tab and "find updates" for "Get Add-ons" and "Extensions." However, the "find updates" tab is not working for "Plugins."
I followed one of your suggestions in your "troubleshooting plugins" topic (disabling the plugins...then enabling them after a check). That didn't work either. In fact, a message box would appear saying that Firefox has "disabled Flash" instead, which of course it did not, since I was able to confirm that the Flash Player update version was still intact. Unfortunately, it appears that updating the Flash Player through Firefox is not a standalone operation. Apparently it will not work properly unless a separate update is subsequently processed through Internet Explorer as well. -

I don't know what happened. All of a sudden, my settings have been changed, my homepage, and EVERYTHING. No matter how many times I go in and change them again, the SAME pages open up when I start FireFox and I am constantly being asked if I want Yahoo as my start page and default search engine. I click the box 'do not ask me again' and it comes up EVERY TIME. I change things like I don't want history remembered, and when I reload FireFox again, it's back to the way it was BEFORE. When i try to update an app it says unable to download at this time. No matter how many time i do it. But then i tried to delete an app then redownload it to see if it will let me but i cant download it either it has the same error! HELP!!!
Rebooting will not make you lose any content. Rebooting is when you hold the home button and the sleep button down at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
You can these suggestions. One might work for you.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream. -
If I open a page in a tab it will take me to a completely different site, and no matter how many times I try to close and open a new one, it keeps going to different sites. It also happens when I type the website into the address bar, it still takes me to a random site. When you gte requests to locate iTunes.msi like this, the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility usually fixes it.
Here is a method for removal, clean up and reinstall of iTunes.
