Firefox crashes whenever on a page that needs Adobe Flash. If I uninstall then reinstall Flash, it works until I restart my computer, then it happens again

Running latest version of both Firefox (19.0.2) and Adobe Flash (11.6.602.171) as of the date of this post.
I'm using Windows 7.
This problem has been going on for a few months (maybe even a year). I can't remember the last time this didn't happen.
This problem doesn't occur with Google Chrome, and it is getting very irritating.

I am having the same problem. I use Ubuntu 12.04 and use Flash version 11.2 r202. Since Ubuntu went canonical with 19.02. Firefox has been crashing endlessly. I uninstalled and installed a strip down version only with Flash. It still crashes.
Do anyone have a solution? I disable all acceleration and there is no other plugin running?

You do not seem to have Adobe Flash (aka Shockwave Flash) installed. If you did you would see it listed under your plugins. Follow the instructions in the article below to install Flash in Firefox.

I used Puffin Free Browser. Worked perfectly with a 14 day free trial for Flash. It worked well for Flash videos so I would buy the full version.

Those are the ones you downloaded. Ten times, apparently. Since install_flash_player_10_osx.dmg already existed, the next download was appended with -1. The next -2, etc. They'll all be identical, so it doesn't matter which one you use. Though I'd go with the last one as it may be a slightly updated version from the first download, depending on how long ago you did the first one.
A .dmg file is a Disk Image. When you double click them, they open up a pseudo drive on the desktop. When you open one of these ten items, the Flash installer will appear in a file window. Run it to install Flash. Then close the file window (displaying from the psuedo drive) and then put the "drive" in the trash to dismount it. You can then delete all of those.
Looks like you also downloaded the Adobe Reader twice. Versions 10.1.2 and 10.1.3. Also Skype, whatever the Thomson thing is, and an unnecessary Flash uninstaller (the Flash installer will put an uninstaller in the Utilities folder).

After you've installed Flash Player (you have to mount the disk image by double-clicking and the double-click the insatller package) restart your browser and go to youTube, for example, -> http://www.youtube.com/ - and see if the videos play.

Is there any timeline soon that apple users will be able to open things that need adobe flash player? I can not even play any games on Facebook, I can't open certain files, pictures sent to me or things like forms I news to see when I am not home

I am so frustrated about Adobe Flash player. I can not play any Facebook games, open certain files and pictures and documents that I need to access because not only does this phone not do it but my old Palm Pre couldn't do it either. I have had so many times where I needed to access things either online or via email, or message that I can not even look at because of this. I have to wait until I for home or ask someone else to do it for me which is embarrassing. I rave about my iPhone 4S all the time because it is truly great except for this. When it use to happen with my Pal Pre I figures once I got my iPhone that it wouldn't happen anymore but I guess I was completely wrong. I have had this problem for years and always get a message saying that it's being worked on. Well a couple of years is a long time to work on it. I understand about contracts and stuff but why is it taking a company such as Apple to be able to get it for their products? I get a lot and always want to play the games on Facebook but I can't do it on most of them at least the ones I have tried. So I can not play against anyone at that time I have to wait until I get home or use someone else's computer or something. Please tell me that in the extremely near future that this will not be a problem anymore. PLEASE!! I am sure I am not the only one out there who is having issues and if you do get it available please let there be an upload/upgrade for current phones and not just for future versions of Apple phones. That just wouldnt be very fair to all of your loyal customers and tell everyone to get your products because they are great and end up leaving this little problem out until they by your phone. I have to re-install adobe flash for firefox every time i start my computer even if firefox shows that my adobe flash is working it does not.I also get notices from the websites i visit (get flash e.t.c.)

There are two versions of the Flash Player plugin. One is ActiveX and only works in IE. It sounds like you have that one installed. The other one works in all other browsers.
What seems to be happening is that you have security software that's blocking one of those versions of Flash/restoring your computer state and so it gets uninstalled when you start your computer. The other possibility is that there are permission issues. Unfortunately, this isn't something that Firefox can control; it's a problem with the Flash installation (Firefox is dumb and just looks in the registry for a list of installed plugins to load).
Make sure that you're an admin on your computer when you try to install Flash and that you check your security settings. If that doesn't work, try posting to the [http://forums.adobe.com/community/flashplayer Adobe community forums] to see if other people have had similar issues and know how to address them.

Firefox won't load any pages at all! I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but no luck. My IE works, but I much prefer Firefox! Help?

Early this morning, my firefox was working perfectly fine. Yet this evening, it won't load any web pages - only IE will. (I hate IE, much prefer FF!)

I had this problem where I work but it was fine on my home pc. When Firefox upgraded, it detected a proxy on my work network and started to use it even though my previous settings were set to no proxy.
Now all my pages load and my 'find updates' for addons work.

Yeah, me too, am running 64 bit LinuxMint 16, I have tried Firefox and Chrome and tried to download any/all of the Linux variants but nothing happens, I have allowed pop ups and disabled security, still nothing. I have tried downloading any/all of the linux versions onto my Asus ROG laptop running windows 8 and do a file transfer - still nothing. So I have to conclude the page is broken ?? Pretty poor really.

I had to change my video card, immediately after this FF started crashing at start.
The video card is a Nvidia GeForce 210.
I tried to:
- reset FF;
- uninstall it, clear the register, reinstall it;
- update Windows;
- update the video card drivers (311.06)
but no way.
I can start FF in Safe Mode.
Any help will be truly appreciated.

I solved it by disabling hardware acceleration in FF options.
It seems to be a conflict between FF and some Nvidia drivers.
