Firefox does not load on power up

Firefox does not load when i power up my Windows XP desktop, even though i have a firefox shortcut in ...start menu\programs\startup alongside an Outlook 2007 shortcut and desktop.ini which both work.
I've deleted the firefox shortcut and replaced it and rebooted but it still won't load on power up. I have to click on the shortcut to run it?
Please help

What version of Firefox are you trying to install?
Microsoft doesn't allow Firefox on the surface RT, so unfortunately you can't install Firefox there.

FireFox does not load any website when setting up a working proxy

When i set a proxy for firefox , any proxy ... firefox does not load any thing , it comes with server not found in no time , fire fox is not even searching for it !

I read those before .. but my problem is not any one of them !
when i set proxy on firefox it does not work !

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Firefox does not load pages, comes back with server not found

First I thought this was a problem with Firefox 4 beta but now I am having the same issue with 3.6.16
About 70% of the times, Firefox does not open the web page and comes back with "Server not found" message. Interesting thing is it comes back with this message on the first 2 tries and then on the third try for the same link it will display the page. Always, 2 fails and 3rd time it works. Now during the first two times, internet commnection is working and if I try the same URL on IE it works without any issues. This started happening after I tried Firefox 4 beta. 4 is not uninstalled and I am back to 3.6.16. But the issue remains.
I am using Win 7 64 Home Premium, SP1 is not applied yet but all updates are in place.

Well, I'm using Firefox 4.0 and have the same problem. I tried to open my private homepage and my *.net-domain comes back with the "Server not found" message (my *.com-domain loads without any problem - same contents on both websites)
I also tried to open my net-domain in FF portable - without any problems.
Clearing the cache, deleting the cookies etc in FF4 does not help either.
I also had the experience that FF4 does not load CSS5 websites (e.g. deviantart) properly (CSS does not work, website shows simply the html-version, a disgusting look). With FF portable the problem does not exist.
I tried this on different machines (e.g. Windows XP Pro SP3 (office PC), Win7 Pro 64, Win Vista SP2... (home PCs) and there I'm experiencing the same issues with FF4 and various websites.

Firefox does not load random websites. Using a 3.6 or later version, with an XP OS.

My Dad's laptop is using XP OS.
He's been using Firefox quite a bit, until recently (about a month ago or more) when we go to any random website, it does not load. All it shows is a blank page and at the bottom bar it says "Done".
But after refreshing it multiple times (and I mean A LOT of times) it either loads it or does not.

Firefox Does not load most of websites but other browsers does

Hello, I have a problem.. Suddenly my firefox stopped working properly. I didnt install or changed a setting lately but still...
most of the pages does not load, or it take ages to load. With other browsers works fine, it loads really fast... I don't know what can cause this problem.. I tried to disable IPv6 as i saw on a tutorial, i scanned for viruses and malwares, but still nothing. Could you help me please?

What I was doing before the problem:-
I had spent time re-organising My Documents.
One folder in My Docuamnts called "High Windows" contained the file "2101HighWin.msi", which I attempted to open.
What I have done since the Firefox problem:-
I have tried to uninstall 8e6 Mobile Client, but it won't let me.
I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox.
I have used InternetExplorer8 to search thru the Mozilla troubleshooting pages.
Please can you help?

I have to open 5 fix urls daily for 12 hours. The new fixfox does not load last opened urls when i came at work next day while previous version was doing same thing for me since months. Please advise.

Firefox does not load at all. unable to connect. safari and IE work ok.

Is it hanging ? have you looked for the firefox.exe process using something such as the Windows task manager. Do you find the process ? Presumably Firefox has worked previously on the same computer, can you confirm that?

Firefox does not load any webpages. Only shows "done" in corner. IE (64bit) works fine

The firefox program loads fine. However it only shows "untitled" in the tab and "done" in the bottom corner. It does not show any error notifications. When I click a bookmark, or enter a URL into the location bar it makes not attempt to contact the server. In fact it appears to do nothing at all.

Often firefox does not load my inbox page--I get a blank page instead

My e-mail pages (specifically the inbox) often just doesn't load in Firefox: a blank page sprouts up and a tab showing the URL that supposedly has been entered, but even when I click that specific tab again, the page remains blank.--Then I have to resort to my inbox icon on the Yahoo toolbar before I can access my inbox.
2. The Firefox window takes a very long time to emerge; sometimes I have to click the "Quick Launch" in my taskbar 2 or 3 times before
the window comes up--this still happens though I updated the driver for my Network adapter recently.

If you are getting the blank app update screen, many people are having this problem over the last couple of days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.

I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.

Firefox does not load embedded google calendar month view (2014)

Recently (first complaint today), all of our embedded google calendars on our site stopped loading in Firefox browsers. Specifically, it is the month view. The calendar actually loads and the contents can be seen on agenda and week views. However, Month view remains empty (A google calendar framework appears complete with the tools that might normally be there[month selection, print, view tabs] but the expected calendar is not there, so it is quite short).
We have 3 online google calendars that are injected with the <object data> call. All three work in Chrome and Safari as they are designed to work. This is only effecting Firefox (have not tested IE). I reset firefox, and started it in safe mode. I also downloaded and ran Firefox 33,32,30,28, and 15. It effects them all.
So far I have only tested this on a Mac with Firefox, Safari, and Chrome
Let me know if you have any suggestions or if there is more information you may need.

Thanks for the response. I do have data defined. However, type is not. The specs don't seem to make it necessary to specify both, but if that helps I can. The webconsole shows one error:
Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead. That is an error in the jquery javascript code though.
Firebug doesn't show anything in its console.
I used iframe and the behavior is exactly sthe same. I'm beginning to think this is a google calendaring issue instead.
